    Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling (v3)

Awesome job getting MACW set up the way you like. I just said something similiar to Den and WWF. You have done a great job of building up some of your midcard heels which makes the fans really happy when your upper level babyfaces beat them or you are able to produce more heat when the upper card heels come out on top of your midcard babyfaces that just got some shine on TV. Some huge appearances this week as we get Wahoo Back and see the debut of LeRoy Brown. Looking forward seeing how you use him. Awesome main events!! MACW is STAR-STUDDED!!

All the big men stay hot as we head towards Wrestlemania. I have said a few times that your roster is awesome but I am always amazed that everyone knows their position and role. The midcarders seem to win on TV and then they fall to the upper level guys in the house shows. Really well done. I need a course on how to set up my roster like you have it. No matter what the territory or level of talent you have, your system would work well.

The Pleasuredome Challenge was awesome. I had a feeling it was Exotic Adrian coming out but it take anything away from the angle. Awesome promo by the Exotic One. This will be fun to follow in the coming weeks. Great to see the Nightmares back home! Embry finds away to keep his title but I liked how you had the CCW fans come up with new ways to get under the champs skin.... CHEATER! I bet the fans were fuming when the Bullet couldn't go and the Rich's left with the belts.... I am just going to sit back and get ready for a wild ride! Nice job of really showing the type of guy Magnum is as he jumps into the ring to help Dusty before he has to defend his world title. I could see how Sherri's flirting could distract a man. Will her group be able to get along... will be fun to watch. Anyway, the belt stays on Buddy which will be sure to give us some great promos in the coming weeks. The handshake to Stubbs.... very interesting move by T.A.... Can't wait to get more on this one. Great show as always!

WOW.... week after week your promo skills amaze me. The opening with Stubbs and Landel and wheeling Ronnie out.... Awesome. Really good Eric Embry... like how he pointed out he is the best in the world. He better be ready for Prichard. Lanny... Woman... Solie.... really good. I like how Solie is starting to bother Lanny. WOW... the Fiesta Garden... between what was said, along with hot Sherri (also hot Woman) I think CCW is going to be shown after the kids go to bed. I enjoy your use of Ron Slinker. Very creative. WHAT A MAIN EVENT... PURE CHAOS! Can't wait for night of champions

As I said before, really excited about the attention you are giving to the JR HW division. Embry added to the heat here and the match with El Santo Negro now has the fans attention. The Harts better be careful... Lucifer is one dangerous dude! Great contrast in styles here in this match. Like how you brought in Lex for the brawl as this is the top of guy who could deal with the P.oP. Love the Stipulations for the MIdnight Rockers and the pulled it off! They better be ready for the Andersons but they would also make great champs! Looking forward to seeing where this one goes. What a Main Event!!

Madusa seems to need some help but what a story it would be if she goes out and destroys the Monsters all by herself. You do a great job here but Madusa vs The Monsters is awesme. I know Richter and a few other's dominated back then but really like how you made thia your own project.

Boss Man and the Masked Avenger on the same side... great change of direction here in the last few weeks. Like how they didn't come out together. You have made Tracy Smothers into a real star. I always thought he was underrated and should have gotten a bigger push.

Great week for WWF! The Hart Coalition, Heenan's Family, Hogan vs Boris! This feels just like WWF 1986 where every match was about the stars. Great Piper's Pit where the stars on the bad side are really starting to join forces... While we are all looking forward to Wrestlemania, I feel like you might be setting us up for Survival Series.

    Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling (v3)

Really good show with a true MACW feel. Last year youtube had the entire 1985 MACW season and this was spot on. The matches were filled with midcard guys but the stories for the big stars was hyped through the opening montage and interviews. Great job. If anyone wants to see some great wrestling from the territory days, see if this is still on youtube. The Koloffs gave a great promo and hype we see a big rematch between Nikita and the champ. Good job getting some attention for the JR HW's. Benoit is just about ready to become a star. MACW.... 4 Horseman... All is right in Dawn of War! Looking forward to Greensboro!

    AWA Major League Wrestling

Really entertaining show. I love the idea of the best of 7 series with the Fabs and RnR Express. I remember Nikita and Magnum doing this in real life. You get so much out of this. You sell tickets, already set up angles for tv as everyone wants to know who won this past week, etc.... Great booking! While I might be a little surprised if Priceless won the tag belts, it wouldn't shock me. There are certain people or teams that you keep reinventing and doing more with and Priceless is one of them. So is Carlos Colon! Looking forward to seeing his where you go with him vs Tiger Jeet. Snuka vs Billy Jack is a great top of the card feud that could go on and on. Also very good booking! Iceman and Brenda.... Water and Oil... they don't mix but they do entertain. Larry Z is one to be watched... carefully! Horner is getting closer and closer... interested to see if he comes through. Bock-Steamboat.....MAIN EVENT!!! This is going to be awesome.

    Mid-South Wrestling

Fairgrounds Arena: Jackson Mississippi September 17, 1986 First 6 matches partially shown on Superstation 17 (WRITING TIME IS SHORT.... MIGHT HAVE TO DEVELOP STORIES THROUGH HOUSE SHOWS FOR AWHILE.... SORRY) Debut Match: Kendo Nagaski with Tojo Yamamoto vs Norvell Austin The 5’5, portly, Tojo, wearing a red cap, white suite and black tie, leads Kendo to the ring in his first match in Mid-South since before the Dawn of War era. Kendo comes out wearing a steel mask and carrying a bamboo stick. Once he gets to the ring, he goes through some creative ritual as he is swinging and twirling the stick. Austin, nervously, jumped out of the ring and out onto the floor. Once Kendo was done with the stick, he took off the steel mask to displayed a white and black painted face as the intimidation continued. Give Austin his due, he battled to the best off his ability, but it just was not enough tonight as Kendo pulled out some nasty martial arts and used plenty of dirty tactics to go along with it. The end came with a nasty savat kick to the back of the head. Tojo told him to get the bamboo stick and beat Austin, but Norvell escaped before the assault was carried out. “The Mighty Yankee” Steve Strong defeated Mike George with a powerslam after Mike George was distracted by the Masked Yankee who came out and stood up on the apron. Jake “The Snake” Roberts with Sheik Adnan Al Kassie defeated Rufus Jones with the DDT in a match that saw the action split about 50/50. Revenge Match: Ricky Gibson defeated Rotten Ron Starr with the running bulldog as revenge was achieved by Gibson for Starr interfering in his NWA World Jr. Title Match with Eric Embry last week. Grudge Match: Bruiser Brody vs Black Bart ended in a No Contest as Black Bart met Bruiser Brody in the aisle and the brawl was on with neither man ever actually making it to the ring. Mid-South Title Match: Bad News Allen with Ernie Ladd vs Rocky Johnson in a Steel Cage! Each time Cowboy Bill Watts tried to neutralize Ernie Ladd in this feud, he was outsmarted by either Bad News or the Big Cat. This time, Watts was sure that he had come up with a solution… A steel cage. Ernie Ladd couldn’t get in and Bad News Allen couldn’t simple walk away. Problem… Ernie Ladd is the ultimate planner. After about 5 minutes or an all-out brawl, Ernie Ladd reached under the ring and pulled out a pair of bolt cutters and cuts the lock off the cage and comes into the ring. It is now 2-1 in this No DQ title bout and there is nothing Rocky Johnson or the ref can do about! We see a few big boots by Ladd followed up by Bad News tossing the Soul Man headfirst into the steel cage. Ladd and Bad News were having so much fun that getting the three-count never even crossd their mind! The crowd erupts…. it is none other than Mid-South legend….Captain Redneck Dick Murdoch. Murdoch is rushing through the unlocked gate of the steel cage. Ladd attacks Cpt. Redneck but Murdoch ducks under his attempt and kicks him square in the groin and then rolls him through the cage door. Bad News Allen attacks with the Ghetto Blaster on Murdoch….. MISSED! Murdoch with a knee to the midsection. Bad News is doubled over… Rocky is now back on his feet…. Soul Man Shuffle…. WHAM… Huge right hand by Rocky and down goes Bad News Allen. Murdoch guards the door from Ernie Ladd as Rocky covers the champ. 1….2….3! Rocky Johnson has pinned Bad News Allen and we have a new Mid-South Champion! Mid-South Tag Team Title Match The Masked Superstars © with Sheik Adnan Al Kassie defeat Hacksaw Butch Reed & U.S. Steel when U.S. Steel submitted to the Cobra Clutch by Masked Superstar #1. The submission signal by Steel was not clear as many thought he was shaking his fists to get his adrenaline flowing but Referee Carl Fergie said he submitted and he awarded the victory to the champs. 6 Man Tag Team Match: The Freebirds vs Ted Dibiase, Dr. Death Steve Williams and a Mystery Partner Okay, this one needs some background as it all came to head last week on Power Pro Wrestling… (Yes the Power Pro Episode that I never wrote) Jimmy Garvin with Precious had just won his TV match over Ben Bassarab and was in the middle of his post-match interview when he was confronted by the NWA World Tag Team Champions, Ted Dibiase and Dr. Death. They both wanted to know why Michael Hayes was obviously looking for the purse that Precious had dropped at ringside prior to the Freebirds title shot last week in Shreveport. Garvin and Precious played dumb and said they had no idea what Michael Hayes was doing, and that Precious had accidently dropped the purse while embracing Gorgeous Jimmy after his match. While Garvin and Precious were digging themselves deeper and deeper into a hole, all hell broke loose as Michael Hayes and Buddy Roberts attacked the champs from behind. The 3-2 advantage plus Precious doing a bit of hit and run cat attacks was too much for the champs to overcome. With the champs laid out on the arena floor, Michael Hayes grabbed the microphone as reminded everyone…. Once a Freebird… Always a Freebird. As order was restored and we headed to break, Jim Ross explained to everyone that 3 or 4 years ago, Jimmy Garvin actually was a member of the Freebirds over in Texas and up in the AWA! After the commercial break, the battered tag team champs came out and had a few choice words for the Freebirds. They also said that they knew Garvin was in cohoots with Michael Hayes and they got a surprise for the Devil’s trio this week in Jackson and demanded that Watts grant them a 6 Man Tag Team Match against Hayes, Roberts and Garvin. The crowd started to stir as they were sure this surprise was Terry Gordy. The fans even went to so far as to chant Bam Bam, Bam Bam as Watts sanctioned the match. So here we are…. 6 Man action in Jackson, Mississippi. The problem was that Dibiase and Dr. Death came out along which left Michael Hayes laughing about how the blind mouse, Terry Gordy, couldn’t find his way to the ring tonight. The match went on for a good 15 minutes as the champs more then held their own. We have Jimmy Garvin in the ring going all out against Dr. Death when all off a sudden, the crowd stirs as Scott Casey makes his way to the ring. Casey is somewhat well known because of all the cable TV nowadays but he is not the star they were hoping to see make his return to Mid-South tonight. Following Casey to the ring was his valet Sunshine and this is where things got interesting. Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin acted like he had seen a ghost! WHAM… Dr. Death caught the stunned Garvin and connected with a huge Oklahoma Stampede! 1…2… Hayes and Roberts rush in to make the save but they are nailed by Dibiase and Scott Casey! 3! The fans are somewhat confused but love the end result. This one has some explaining needed but that will have to wait until next week.

After reading your house shows, I'm convinced you remember more about Dawn of War then anyone else around. Bringing back JR Foley to run the Commonwealth is great! How do you remember all this. Do you have a notebook or somoething. LOL! Great "B" Show in Charleston as you entertained them throughout the night and Harley Race vs Ivan Koloff would have sold all the tickets you had. Awesome "A" show in Charlotte where we start to see the pecking order of MACW. Dillon's group did well here as the Horseman are on the rise. Slater held them off from having a perfect night. Texas Red with the big win over Herc shows he is going to be a big player here in MACW. Ole and the Crippler would have been one stiff match! Great booking.

Huge event for CCW... Nice to see that the moment of the night was caught on video... Here comes the Bullet. Funny when you had Tommy admit to being the Medic. Dusty wins the SE TItle. Looking forward to seeing what's next for him. Very interesting moment as Scott Armstrong comes out to help Prichard. Looking forward to seeing what is next here. Sherri with have to wait a little for the belts but it will be a fun chase. Also looking forward to seeing who here singles wrestle is. Wendell Cooley is CCW! He had to win that one but I never know what changeup you have planned for us. Liked that this one came right down the middle.

    AWA Major League Wrestling

Great week for the AWA Like the change of pace you threw at us this week. Usually the angles build until the next supercard but we are getting Carlos and Tiget Jeet in a LLT Match in a week. Very interesting. I bet there is something special planned here. Love it. I would't want to be CHarland. Ronnie is one tough dude. Vin Man has been the perfect mid-card guy as he is always entertaining. WOW... very creative writing here with the lawsuit for Mrs. Rainey!! Great booking. Paul Jones seems to have some very nasty friends. Snuka better be careful. As for the Roane Fieldhouse... nice, balanced show that was very realistic for 86. The last two matches sold the tickets but the rest of the show did a great job of entertainng. Haystacks and Ferris would have been slow but very interesting to see ... then we had the brawl with Rugged Ronnie... tag matches, singles matches... the masked Cobra.... Really something for everyone.

Great TV show with some much happening! T.A. gets the attention he should as the NWA champ. Nice touch No matter wat T.A. or anyone else does in CCW, the story is Tommy Rich and his whole family. The T-Shirts were a nice touch. Can't wait to see who the mystery man is. I like how Les explaned all the comings and goings of CCW. I am really interested in the Prichard-Lanny bout. I have no idea where you are taking this as they are both huge Jr. Heavyweight stars! Can't wait to see what your creativity has instore for us this time. Again, looking forward to the LLT Match with Cooley and Myers. I think I know where you are going by you have shocked me before. I agree with Sherry... she could be very persuasive. I see her rising to the top real fast! The Super D's might be the favorites for the titles this week. Nice job with the Dusty accent. I found him fun and frustrating at the same time to write for. Looking forward to his bout with Bass. He can't stop fighting the big cowboys! Wow... A clean win for Buddy... His stock is rising! Looking forward to the big show this week. Very, very well done TV show!

    Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling (v3)

WOW.... It didn't take long for MACW to become MUST READ! Great event that shows some new angles, some ending and some huge matches! Benoit needed some help and now he might have fellow Canadian JR Foley to guide him. Now this is going to be a PARTY! I wonder if Foley will not invite certain people like he did in Stampede in real life... Can't wait to see. Not like the Powers of Pain need much help but when they get the masked man coming down to the ring they might be unbeatable.... Might, I said, as your tag division is HUGE!! Nice wins by Tiger and the Crippler... this gives us some insight into your pecking order which I think is spot on. Wrecking Crew... Midnight ROckers..... Road Warriors....Sawyers.... like I said.... Huge tag division. If there was every a way to get instant heat.... put the U.S. Title on a Russian in the 1980's.... Great booking. And then one of the biggest moments in Dawn of War... Flair over Macho Man with the Birth of the 4 Horseman!!! Loved the show!!

    Mid-South Wrestling

Memorial Coliseum: Shreveport, Louisiana September 10, 1986 First 6 matches partially shown on Superstation 17 Black Bart defeats Mike Graham by hitting two Texas Trash Compacter. The second one was completely unnecessary, but Bart was here to make a point tonight. After the match he was heard calling out Bruiser Brody and saying he had unfinished business with the Wild Man. U.S. Steel defeats “Hollywood” John Tatum with a Giant Splash. Tatum had been talking a good game before the opening bell but once the action started, he did his best to run and hide. Too bad for Tatum but good for the crowd, Steel eventually caught him and beat him pillar to post. The Mighty Yankee “Steve Strong” defeats Mike George with a powerslam after George was distracted by the Masked “Mighty Yankee” who came down to ringside. Crusher Blackwell defeats Bob Roop with the Airplane Drop in a match that was surprisingly technical. NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title Match Ricky Gibson defeats Eric “Crybaby” Embry by DQ as Rotten Ron Star came down to the ring and attacked Gibson. Embry was frustrated at the crybaby chant throughout the match but was as smug as ever walking out with his title. Starr seemed very pleased with himself but when Gibson regrouped and was ready to duke it out with Starr, the Rotten One headed for the hills. “Gorgeous” Jimmy Garvin with Precious defeated “The Cuban Lover” Ricky Santana with the Brainbuster. Precious came in the ring after the bout and lend over the fallen Santana and had a few choice words for him as she was still frustrated by his “groping” attempt last week. She was waving her hand and her purse as she really gave him a mouthful of hatred. Her and Jimmy had a nice hug on their walk back to the locker room. NWA World Title Match: Ted Dibiase & Dr. Death Steve Williams © defeat The Fabulous Freebirds as Dr. Death hits The Oklahoma Stampede on Buddy Roberts during a time of chaos. The interesting thing here was that as Dr. Death and Dibiase were walking to the ring, Garvin and Precious were leaving and Dr. Death noticed that Precious had dropped her purse during the couple’s embrace. Dr. Death picked up the purse after their exit and gave it to the timekeeper to hold. The camera seemed to pick up Michael Hayes stalling on his way to the ring as he seemed to be looking for something and seemed really frustrated when the ring announcer called for Precious to come out and get her purse as she had accidently dropped it. As for the match, it was full of twists and turns and seemed like it could go either way, but the champs survived in the end. Mid-South Title Match: Title Changes hands if the champ is counted out or disqualified Bad News Allen without Ernie Ladd & Rocky Johnson wrestle to a double count-out in very physical bout. It appeared that Rocky Johnson was going to get back in the ring and win the title as he connected with the Soul Man Shuffle on the arena floor, but Bad News grabbed Rocky’s leg just before him got in the ring which slowed him down just enough to get the double count-out. MAIN EVENT: Briefcase Match: Sheik’s Million Dollar Briefcase is suspended above the ring: Team that gets the briefcase wins the bout and the money. Sheik’s Army (Masked Superstars, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, & Jos Leduc) defeat Hacksaw Butch Reed, Harley Race & The Patriots (DJ Peterson & Todd Champion) in Carl Fergie’s first big match as a referee. Fergie did a good job of maintaining control in a match just made to be chaotic. Each man had their time to shine and as normal in a big 8-man tag match, there were many momentum changes. Interesting thing was that a ladder was placed outside the ring and was needed to get to the briefcase. The finish saw the ladder already set up in the middle of the ring after a failed attempt by The Snake. Reed and Masked Superstar #2 were brawling out on one side of the arena floor and Harley Race and Leduc were fighting on the other side. DJ Peterson shoves Jake Roberts back into the corner and rushed in and connect with a clean shoulder block. Peterson know clocks the fist and goes for a big right hand. Carl Fergie grabs the arm and prevents the punch. Peterson is arguing with Fergie who gets between DJ and the Snake. Fergie appears to shove DJ out of the corner and away from Roberts. WHAM… Peterson trips over the ladder and it falls right on top of him. Todd Champion rushes in to complain but if forced back out of the ring by Fergie. WHAM… DDT by the Snake on Peterson who was wobbly as he got up. Snake picks up the fallen ladder and shoved it into the gut of Todd Champion who gets knocked off the apron. Jake quickly steps up the ladder and scampers up to the top and grabs the briefcase! The Sheik is going wild as Jake Roberts has just saved him a $1,000,000! The Sheik opens it up and takes out a big bundle and hands it to The Snake. The crowd begins to filter out and you can tell that they are a little frustrated by the last two matches but as in most sports, there is always tomorrow. Next Friday Mid-South returns to Jackson, Mississippi and the Fairgrounds Arena for its next big night! MATCHES ALREADY SIGNED FOR JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI The debut of Kendo Nagasaki Mike George vs The Masked Mighty Yankee Grudge Match: Bruiser Brody vs Black Bart Revenge Match: Rotten Ron Starr vs Ricky Gibson Mid-South Title Match: Bad News Allen vs Rocky Johnson in a Steel Cage!

Great return for MACW. Great booking to get both the tv audience and fans at home hooked early. A 12 Man Battle Royal is a rare match for TV and then we get the main event of Lex and Kabuki to come from this one. Nice idea here. Harley Race in MACW!! Love it. Great promo with him. I also enjoyed the Road Warriors and they are right. Just becasue one of them is the MACW champion doesn't mean that they can't get the tag titles. Sawyers beware! Flair and the Andersons! Nice promos but Savage stole the show. Flair vs Savage is HUGE!! Can't wait for the shoe from the Scope! Great to have you running a territory you are more familar with. Enjoy!

WOW.... I know that you don't venture into Arizona much but when you do... its an awesome event. Highlights for me included Hansen vs Simmons. I was really interested to see where you went with this one and I think you hit it spot on. Hansen stays on top but the star that Simmons is continues to rise and it takes 2 lariats to get the win. The Masked Avenger has turned!!! Why? We will have to see why. Even if Corny knows something, be better be careful! Could we get the Avenger vs Bam Bam..... PLEASE!! To me, Playboy is PCW... ejoyed this one and its crazy finish. Windham might soon be looking for some gold!! Great show!

Sorry to be late to the party but this was an awesome ending to your time in Western States! I wonder if Al Perez will still get that title shot of his choosing in his new home! Nice win. In must have been great for the fans to see Tojo take a beating here!! I love what this game has done for Shaska! Nice job making him a big heel star. Embry shows you that when a heel wins a title, it is hard to get it away from them. The Brotherhood.... Sullivan's goons... Golden Spike.... Perfect for the rough and tumble WSW fans. The Brass Knucks Title on Dutch just sounds good. Jumbo getting the clean win over Slater really elevates him in this game. Can't wait to see what he does in his new home. Funks congratulating anyone, never mind the NWA Tag Champs, would always be TENSE!! Awesome booking... too bad this angle won't continue. BELLY TO BELLY ON OMG... Enough said! T.A. is the Champ! Awesome event. Thanks so much for your time in Wesrern States. I can't wait to see what you do in your new home!
