Only the first round matches like WWF or all of them?

    1983 Project General Chatter Thread

Just giving a heads-up to everyone that I'm starting to write the Johnny Rougeau Memorial Cup next week and I'm offering every territory to use the tournament for their weekly TV programs. WWF has already told me that they will broadcast 1st round featuring representatives of their roster so feel free to let me know if this is something you wanna do too.

    The Initial Draft!

With their first pick, New Japan will select Hulk Hogan.

    The Rulebook

    Also good for me.

Could it be helpful for certain people to have the booking characteristics of owners (like Giant Baba, Inoki, etc)? Just in case some new people would join later? No problem if not but I thought I'd ask.

    Freelancer Booking Revisions

    I think that's a fair compromise.

I'm confident our 3 territories could work something out with this!

You don't have to build one if you don't want to. That's the beauty of our project.

    1983 Project General Chatter Thread

If you book the NWA tag team champs and you have the intention of making a title switch, you address your request to the members of the NWA. Then, they'll vote on if you can proceed with the title change.

Yeah, WWF & I could surely work something out for a women's division. It's definitely something in my radar for the next couple of months into the 1985 fresh faces draft.

Man, you found a great way to write off Kevin Sullivan from your territory. Exactly what I would've expected for him.

Yeah, thanks for asking the question. Since I'm running New Japan, this could help me a lot in the draft process as well.

    The Rulebook

I guess that as long as it keeps somewhat of a realistic scale of how those smaller promotions have progressed (like ECW for instance), everything should be fine.

    Freelancer Booking Revisions

I don't have any problem with this option. Everyone is willing to collaborate with every territory so truth be told, it doesn't change many things. Instead of asking whoever's in charge of freelance booking to book a talent, you just ask the territory who drafted the freelancer if you can use him. It's not that big of a difference to me.

    WWF on Tour August 1984

Solid slate of shows. Savage vs Gino headlining the B-tour is excellent!

    The Project's General Discussion

Shouldn't we wait for the draft to happen first? We don't exactly know how the rosters will look like so you might wanna wait before posting anything.

    The Project's General Discussion

I think that we're all savvy enough to keep the rosters as realistic and authentic as possible and I would be surprised to see owners from Tier 2 promotions go after the top stars. But I definitely understand what Kevin is saying here. Whatever Grimmas decides should be fine for everyone.

Pacific Northwest Wrestling (PNW) August 1984

Oh yeah, TV titles are so useful for small territories. I know it definitely is for me in Lutte Internationale.

That's a tricky question. I can definitely see guys like Hennig & Rude for instance being drafted and being put in a managerial role for the time being (keeping up with the historical course of the project here) and being active later. I guess it would all depend on where they end up?

Hey that's okay, man. You're doing great for just having picked up Portland only a few weeks ago. Freelancers always definitely help establish stars in the territory, especially in a smaller territory like yours (or mine for that matter).

Great series of shows. I think you might have an undercard gem of a feud between the Harts & Fuji's Clan!

    The Project's General Discussion

I think we all have on our rosters some tough choices for the people to save. I really hesitated between several names to pick as my 4th save.

Really cool to see the partnerships like this. You got something really great going on. 2 new champs right off the bat!
