WWE TV 09/21 - 09/27 Liverpool and Bayern are just gonna dominate European football, aren't they?
Strummer replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
Actually it was wm 31 where Sika was apparently upset at the finish of Brock/Roman. It was reported that Roman was under the assumption he was going over until the morning of the show (Mania 31) until they changed the finish late and Sika got upset. but yeah maybe they were upset at the finish of 34 as well. Can't remember that -

Alexa Bliss did an interview saying she pitched working with Bray Wyatt all the way back in 2016. The current deal is a variation of the storyline she pitched back then -
According to fightful, multiple talents tested positive for covid that were at the early .September tapings which led to the disjointed show last night.

Wait what they ar rehashing the Eddy/Dom angle from 15 years ago!?!! Lol. Well Prichard was on the writing team then and has praised the angle on his show -

I think people forget how strong Melina was pushed in 05/06. She was presented as the clear star of M n M. Did angles with Batista, Foley and even Vince. They clearly soured on her as time went by but they pushed her hard initially -

According to PWI, WWE signed Melina and she's expected to start immediately -
Will Rusev/Miro be the first wrestler in history to be involved in weddings in two separate companies in less than a year?
-
Yeah it was strange hearing Miro defend wwe management over Dave when you think about all the bullshit he had to put up with the office over the years. They've been conditioned to hate him I guess

WWE released AOP

@wrestlevotes also reporting NXT might be moving nights soon enough. have to say teenage me hates Shawn constantly getting shit on here
-
With Roman turning that leaves only one main event male babyface left in the roster, right? Drew? while I mean I guess if you think Fiend can get there. And I guess Big E as well?
-
PWI reporting going forward Roman will be pushed as the top heel on SD with Fiend as top babyface.
-
I can't remember the exact report but I remember reading that Shawn's children educated him on the racial issues in the country and that inspired Shawn to take a stand
-
Well Road Dogg is there
-
As an aside I used to think Tim Dillon was a pretty funny stand up. Goodbye dumbfuck... off my radar now
-
I haven't seen it but I'm reading that Orton had to do the punting spot quick due to sensing a Drew run in coming. I guess that makes it less deadly.
-
Actually Kevin Nash has said for years that Shawn is taller than you think, he was just surrounded by monsters like himself. Shawn is 6ft plus legit I believe. Drew is just a skyscraper I guess

WWE TV 08/10 - 08/16 Rollins is basically HHH's heir to the throne, isn't he?
Strummer replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
I haven't watched a wwe show in full since probably the beginning of last month (maybe late June). Legit shocked seeing that a bunch of people liked that Fiend/Braun/Alexa stuff from last night. Man I thought it was bottom of the barrel stuff. Even saw people fantasy booking the rest of this story. We've been through this before.. mentioned above about live sports bombing in the ratings. Not that surprised I guess. Personally I just can't get into the games. Always been a diehard baseball fan but just have no interest in these games (to be fair my passion for sports has declined pretty significantly the past 10 years or so) The real test for me will be when the nfl returns. If that does nothing for me... -

I believe this month (or last) is the 7 year anniversary of the Wyatt character appearing on the main roster. To put it into perspective Wyatt was on tv before the .Authority was officially formed. A stable that somehow lasted all the way to 2016 -

Anyone know what happened with Jim Duggan in 96/97? He disappears from wcw tv sometime in late 96 and doesn't return until sometime in 98 I believe (when he announced his illness). Was this like Madusa during the same time frame where he was still under contract but was paid to stay home because they had nothing for him? I ask because apparently Heyman tried to get him to appear at Hardcore Heaven 97. I would assume in the spot Jake Roberts eventually had -

Meltz was on the wrestling inc podcast and said that for the first time ever the investment community is questioning the creative direction of the company and Vince's overall effectiveness. I guess before they didn't pay attention and just assumed no one knew wrestling like Vince. WWE was apparently caught off guard by this so that's the reason for the sweeping changes coming now -

Maybe this a stretch but kinda telling they think bringing back Shane instead of HHH/Steph will help ratings more. Although I expect the latter will be back soon enough
