Agreed here. Yikes I get not liking Seth's character but don't get the stuff here questioning if he cares about Becky and stuff like that

WWE TV 05/18 - 05/24 The Last Dance was fucking incredible

On that point I will defend Edge a bit. (And I guess Dave) From like 2000-2004 when he was a midcarder/upper midcarder at best his matches tended to have a lot heat which wasn't exactly common for midcarders in his position in the company at the time. and I guess a hot take? At times in 2005/2006 he was more over than his push. Without a doubt Lita helped a ton but people forget how red hot he was at that time and wwe decided to cool him off a bit before pushing him back up again -
Is Charlotte Flair the most overpushed WWE wrestler of the century?

I think there was a pretty big debate here over Carmella's 2018 push. Lots found her entertaining but a bunch her matches as champion had like scarily zero heat. It was weird -

Yup one of the biggest stories in the women's division last year or so has been Alexa's depush. She was pushed so strong from 16-18 or so but barely gets any mic time now outside of her talk show segment. She was constantly booked to outsmart the babyfaces and never really got any comeuppance as a heel (Nia beat her at Mania 34 but she outsmarted her again few months later anyway)The only one to decisively beat her was Ronda. -
Just to add Dana was supposed to have a big singles match against Charlotte at WM 32 but it was dropped when she failed to get over. i remember it being reported she was more of an HHH project than Vince. Although both were behind her 2015/2016 push. and I kinda think her current gimmick of "lovable dumb jock that just can't get out of her own way but keeps on chugging along" has to be some sort of rib on her

Was Rodman a legit fan? I can remember in 97 when he called WCW the "WWF" in some interviews he did. With Hogan sitting right next to him -

Certainly a lot of stables on Raw now. MVP's, Zelina's, Seth's Heyman trying to recreate 96/97 ECW here. Hell even 98-2000 ECW had a bunch of stables -

Would also think Charlotte going over favorites like Rhea, ,Bianca,Liv and Ruby recently has raised the ire of her critics even more lately -

Well I guess is it about winning titles and main eventing or just plain tv time? Since the summer of 2017 Corbin has been getting an incredible amount of tv time. Especially that interminable stretch on Raw in 2018 where he'd be in multiple segments week after week. Then his main event run last summer that really started the ratings plummeting -

Really gutted by this. Been reading his reviews for probably 20 years or so. Devastating news -

Holy crap just saw what you're talking about. Again, holy crap! -
Yeah that's the ultimate question. Will the lost viewers during the pandemic return when we return to normalcy?
-
Yeah the "I'm next" segment got absolutely booed out of the building that night
-
Wwe being vague about Roman (and outright not mentioning him) is only adding to mystery here
-
In all honesty Roman seemed checked out well before the pandemic began. Probably during the never ending Corbin feud that lasted months. Morale on SD seemed to be poor in general before this all began honestly
-
Oh man I forgot Roman is in the new Happy Madison movie with David Spade. If Roman can become friends with Sandler then he'll always be able to get work
-
Just saw the clip of Becky on "Billions". What in the hell did I just watch?!? Never seen the show so maybe unfair but that was indeed cringey.
-
I believe Becky has a degree in acting. I think she has enough charisma to get by even if she isn't technically sound
-
Unfair to judge her on material like the Marine 6 I guess but in the the clips I saw of her in that movie she was pretty wooden as well
-
Yeah It sounds like Becky already has one foot out the door. She apparently has a role in an upcoming Marvel film. I think she's only been on Raw once since Mania as well and they haven't been talkIng about her much on the show
-
Yeah I think most of the hate for Stephanie was because she was attached to creative for so long when it started to fail. I see many people still think till this day she's on creative. plus yeah taking credit for the rise on the women's division in recent years as well and I know a lot of people liked her in the authority stuff but it lasted way too long and in reality she was just cutting the same promo each week. That stuff has not aged well imo. Even with .Bryan you could argue he was actually more over before feuding with hhh and steph. Shane's last run was absolutely horrible as well
-
And that was the plan for Bayley as well
-
Completely agree with the last sentence here. There was a lot of debate here about the 14/15 Rumbles with many saying the fan revolts were no big deal and just a bunch of noise. I always felt long term the constant trolling of their fan base would eventually catch up to them. It might not have been immediate but all the late 2013-2015 fucking with the audience cost them
