  1. This is a rematch from their December title match, plus previewing a likely Regina Di WAVE title match between Yamagata and Mizunami. I really liked how this match was laid out. Las Aventureras take the early advantage with the story of the match that Avid Rival have to try and fight their way back onto an even footing with the champs. This was the best performance that I've seen from the Hamada/Yamagata team, they did a great job of controlling the action but always giving the challengers enough chance to keep you interested in the match. Just a great match with a deserving title win for the underappreciated team of Ohata and Mizunami. ****1/4 Edit: It should be 8/7 in the topic.
  2. This went only 7 minutes, but damn what a world class match. Yoshida was just dominating Hamada on the ground here. Absolutely nothing Hamada tried looked easy to get in on Yoshida. Her moments of catching Yoshida looked like something else. Some of the wrestling they did here looked on another level. Also, because Hamada had won the previous tournament match with a flash rollup, all of her rollups here were great nearfalls. Great intro to the tricky Arsion style mix, with Yoshida utilizing shoot submissions and Hamada using her lucha.
  3. This is really well done tag title match featuring the new team of Ohata and Mizunami, who are two women that should have a higher profile in the joshi scene given their talent level. While this was a long match, it does manage to keep a pretty good back-and-forth pace for it's entire length. It plays out similar to wide-open basketball or hockey game wear the momentum of the match is swinging back and forth in a fairly regular pace but never delving into a clear "your turn/my turn" structure that it could have taken. Lots of nice double team sequences and counters from both sides. The length and pace does make it a bit draining to watch though, but if you stick with it the match stays very entertaining. ****
