  1. Can someone do me a solid and tell me who Sasuke the Great was? This has to be one of the most random six man lineups I have ever seen. The Sasuke's team up and do some interesting stuff but also seemed to mix up more comedy which odd. Apache and Mochi then square off and they just gel so well together that I am saddened we didn't get a long standing feud. Collyer and Hamada is the lesser of all the pairings but is so damn bizarre that it does have some intrigue just based on that. These guys didn't really set out to have a classic but more of a fun 14 minute high energy six man that also advances the feud between Sasuke the Great and Great Sasuke. ***1/4
  2. This was some Tirantes bullshit away from being a great match. As it is, both of these guys continue to have wonderful chemistry each other with Apache dishing out a beating and Sevilla being the better Tarzan Boy than Tarzan Boy in 2000. Some of the nearfalls Oscar created here was excellent with the highlight being the code red off the middle rope. Tirantes is awful and slow counting but at least in Japan it still seems novel and gets a reaction. Apache ends up winning and in a fun moment, he goads a couple of ladies into kissing him as he heads to the back. ***1/2 (7.2)
  3. Do my eyes deceive me or am I gaining faith in AAA. This was helped by the setting of a wet mat from the rain that would splash with each suplex and throw. Add to that double juice and really compelling rudo work from Apache and you have a really pleasant surprise. Apache kept looking for various submissions and I really loved the surfboard tease of how he had to keep turning over to prevent his own shoulders from touching the mat. All of that groundwork gets rewarded with a victory. Afterwards, both seconds come in and brawl and it looks like this feud is far from over which is fine by me. ***1/2
  4. A freshly shaved Gran Apache is here with his daughter. This was really unique and was intergender wrestling done correctly with the pairings just being interchangeable and all of the female strength spots on me being put to a minimum. The match was fast and breezy and exactly what I was hoping for. Gran Apache is really making a play early on to be a big figure for the decade ahead of us. ***
