  1. I have mixed feelings about this match. I thought the work here was really good but it lacked a real narrative hook to get you invested in what was going on. Pairing up two women who are strong faces in a WWE environment had a lot to do with that. Still, both women had strong performances. Especially Kai, whose selling was terrific and she really made her offense count. Very enjoyable but not something that I'd be going out of my way to see again anytime soon. ***1/2
  2. This match was super physical. My favourite thing about this match was how Kai sold the impact of everything that Ripley did to her. To go with her power, Ripley has surprisingly good agility and quickness for a woman her size. She has the potential to be a female Brock Lesnar. Really good match. ***1/2
  3. Match Link Since this is a High Speed title match, these two get off to a quick start with a series of awesome looking exchanges. Evie eventual gets control and starts to work over Iwatani's back, which leads to some great selling from Mayu. When she gets back on offense she hits a double stomp to Evie's back, but can't follow up because she's selling the landing of the move. The finishing run has some pretty good kick exchanges. Evie's running croner kicks looked great and Iwatani caps it off with a nasty buzzsaw kick to setup her dragon suplex for the win. Could have gone a bit longer but this was the first of 3 title matches on this show so it's no surprise this was short. Stardom really needs to bring Evie back because she just fits the style that they work so well. ****1/4
  4. Match Link This is a 'Survivor Series' style tag with battle royal over-the-top eliminations as well. The World team gets off to a good start by being the more in sync team, which was surprising. They actually put over Viper strong as she pretty much takes out all of the Stardom women on her own, pinning Kyouga to get the first elimination. In the middle portion of the match they do a good job of giving the lower ranked women a chance to work some competitive sequences before getting eliminated. There is even some nice top rope teases before both Hojo and Santana get eliminated at the same time. Just a really fun match from start to finish, which is just what you want out of this type of match. ****
  5. Match Link This is quite the rockin' tag match. It goes 20 minutes but the pace is really well done. Its pretty action packed but still lets the action breathe which you typically don't see in joshi tags. Everyone here turns in a really good performance which is promising for upcoming matches. ****
  6. This is a really fun, but short, title match. Despite the length, this is still a good showcase for both women. The thing that I like about these Santana title defenses is that each of her opponents have different strengths so you get to see her show off her versatility. Evie has mainly a kick based offense with some matwork mixed in so the story of the match is that Santana is able to keep up with Evie's offense plus get the advantage because she is able to mix in some different stuff that keeps Evie off balance. Would have been nice to see this go longer, but they were able to tell a good compact story with the time that they had. ***1/2
