  1. The layout for this match was great. Yim trying to go head to head with Baszler then quickly realizing that was a bad idea so she goes to a big spots and a quicker pace. That works for her for the most part but Baszler always is one big strike or smart counter away from being back in control. The finishing stretch was the best one of the tournament so far as the back and forth really made it look like either one could win. Fantastic stuff. ***3/4
  2. This is a match up of a pair of indie vets who have been all over the place. Logan (formerly Crazy Mary Dobson) looked great here. All of her offense hit well and had a degree of polish that she lacked on the indies. Yim worked a more calculated, slower pace than she usually does. It was weird to not see her bust out a couple of big highspots. Still, I though her kick combos looked good and built well to the finish. A fun first round TV match. ***1/2
  3. This is a really well done title vs. title match between to very good indy women. They did a nice job of showing off how even they are while still making it look like a competitive situation. My favourite part was when they teased a couple of typical non-finishes between champs with a double countout and double pin. The finish had some really nice back and forth. It came off as the proper way of doing a your turn/my turn finish as they worked in enough selling and struggle to make it convincing. ***3/4
  4. This is a super fun main event from Stardom's first of two shows that they ran in California. Even though she been all over the indys, this is the first time I've seen Mia Yim work. She was good, nothing notable just an overall solid performance. Io is just great here, she seems to have found the right mix of flashy moves and using her own charisma to be a consistently entertaining wrestler. Really good back and forth finish with the some nice near falls for both women. Well worth seeking out. ***3/4
