Always loved this match. Danielson dominates most of it; he stretches the crap out of young PAC & I loved how once PAC got some offense in, that just pissed Dragon off & made him put him in even more brutal holds. PAC's big comeback towards the end is really great. A very good, borderline great match. ***3/4

This was really good. Hot action from bell to bell. The transitions were really damn good. The finish was a bit annoying but it did it's job in setting up part 3 between these 2. On par with their WM match. ***1/2

Probably the best Cruiserweight match since the division launched back in September. Neville's work on top was good, but what made this match stand out was Jack Gallagher's fantastic babyface performance from underneath - seriously loved the sense of urgency he showcased. ***1/2

[2007-09-02-PWG- Battle of Los Angeles] Claudio Castagnoli vs PAC
ShittyLittleBoots posted a topic in September 2007
This was very well laid out - Claudio/Cesaro vs. a smaller high-flyer is, for like 99% of the time a winning formula, and it sure was that here. The match was mostly dominated by Double C, who grounded PAC, and every time PAC got on his feet, he threw him around - it was very enjoyable. PAC's comeback towards the end was great, he is one spectacular man inside that ring, everything he did looked so smooth & he executed the comeback perfectly. Really good match. ***1/2-

[2008-08-31-PWG-All Star Weekend VII] Chris Hero vs PAC
ShittyLittleBoots posted a topic in August 2008
Before I watched this, I went back & read reviews of this show, and the general consensus seemed to be that this was a good, 3*ish match, but nothing special, and maybe even a bit disappointing. Well, I thought that this was tremendous. Great styles clash with Hero as the more experienced, bigger guy, and PAC as the flippy underdog. Early on PAC showcased his highflying awesomeness, and because of that Hero started to ground him so he wouldn't be able to get him with all those sick flips. I thought that Hero did a great job working on top, and once it was time for PAC's big comeback, which was indeed quite flippy, he sold really well for the man. Some really good nearfalls in the finishing stretch too. Great match. ****-

Boring, meaningless match that shouldn't have lasted more than thirty seconds. Nothing was bad tehnically-they're trained pro wrestlers who can hit their spots clean but there was zero reason to care about anything here. Why is a jobber whom the commentator are making fun of taking so much of a showcase match for a returning face? It doesn't make Neville look sympathetic, it makes him look incompetent and you think no wonder this guy's never going to amount to anything in the fed.

Hey! I liked this a lot! It started out like your regular TV match but actually ended up being quite good, like a PWG match condensed into TV match time without it seeming like they were just trying to get all of their shit in. Pretty insane you get stuff like a Shooting Star Plancha on a throwaway TV match. I liked Neville's prolonged kick combo and his German Suplex bump was insane, usually when you have guys flip all the way it looks more like them doing a standing moonsault over the other guy than an actual German Suplex, here it looks like Neville was centimeters away from breaking his neck but it is ultimately a safe bump which is completely insane and something only a freak athlete like him could do. I do not care much for Owen's, he is pretty much a poor man's Chris Jericho, his trash talk is not as good and he doesn't have a scarf or a cool jacket, he did serve as a good base for Neville here and can definitely keep up with him in spot-fu. ***
