  1. A super simply, but very well structured tag bout. The story was all about The Bar working like such a solid unit, keeping Apollo from tagging to Titus for most of it. Cesaro & Sheamus did a good job working over the man & Apollo's selling was good. Titus' hot tag was very good - the Clash of the Titus nearfall was awesome. They even got the crowd into the match when they hit that finishing stretch, which was great to hear because they weren't making any noise for the 4 men involved in the early stages. Very good match. ***1/2
  2. I really liked Miz's performance in this, he's really come a long way. He did a very good job of controlling the match and establishing nice and long control segments. Unfortunately Crews didn't have much to offer, his punches looked bad, his enzuigiri could've looked better and he is still very vanilla. I liked how they teased the bigger moves and Miz fed Crews his power showcase spots nicely (and Crews threw him good too). Not a fan of wrestlers doing things they usually don't when executing moves to set up a counter like Miz picking Crews up just so he can counter a Skull Crushing Finale atempt with a flash pin. As usual Miz used his surroundings and his manager to efficiently get heat and transition back into offence. Finish was also refreshing and absolutely the right call, no need to have Miz use the kitchen sink to beat a guy for whom it's just not clicking right now. **3/4
  3. Axel most certainly has the right bloodline to still be employed, I'm sure that The Rock likes working with him helps as well. This was the best Crews showcase match so far, no long chinlock and Axel took the less than anyone did vs. Crews and didn't work in a needlessly long chinlock in a 2 minute match. He also took a great over the top bump off a early Crews punch. Fun for what it was which is more than I can say for the other XX Crews main roster matches I've watched so far.
  4. Man I hate WWE's "we can only have one x wrestler at a time", this is the result of that policy, Corbin has to lose to Dolph Ziggler because being undefeated is Crews' thing and Crews has to work 50/50 matches against Cody Rhodes because being dominant is Corbin's thing. Completely unmemorable outside of Stardust busting out the most ridiculous leg submission in history (and by that I mean it looked really bad and inefficient, not funny).
  5. I have no use for Cody Rhodes when he's not Goldust's hot tag. This way OK for the "two minute match that isn't a squash" that WWE insists on doing. It had a really amazing spot where Crews was on the apron and went for the dreaded shoulder block through the ropes and Stardust hit him with an awesome swinging neckbreaker that didn't mean anything.
  6. I guess Social Outcasts is more catchy than "Guys we won't re-sign once their contract runs out". Another match that wasn't interesting nor did it make Crews look especially good. Him taking out Rose and........what's the other guys name, Axel, with a Moonsault off the apron was a cool spot almost instantly nullified by Heath Slater getting a close nearfal on him. Inefficient.
  7. Rose took a nice bump off Apollo's clothesline. I still can't get over Apollo Crews being an actual ring name for someone. Another quasi-squash match in which the heel takes half the match and gets a chinlock in. Whoever agented this should be fired. Nothing worth seeing here.
  8. I bursted out laughing as I was typing the thread title, it's almost hard to believe how ridiculous some of the WWE ring names are. I like the idea of having more 2 minute squashes on Raw but this match was boring, even in a 2 minute showcase match a heel has to get in a Smackdown vs Raw signature move and a Chinlock. I miss Ryback killing local guys. Apollo did some cool flips I guess but man what a waste of time.
