  1. This is for the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship. BODYGAA is over in this, to the point that at first he's portrayed not that differently from an underdog fighting from underneath and Kento is doing the dastardly work of a body part (in this case, the neck). The match itself, while not being anything special, is enjoyable because both performers give the sense of urgency a title match needs, and because the crowd is into this the whole way. Kento show much more emotion than Okada usually does. I wonder if they met in their careers, or if they ever will. Bodyguard is charismatic as fuck - considering he's best buds with ZEUS, that isn't a surprise. *** 1/2
  2. Strong BJ vs The Big Guns brings you the HOSSFIGHTING OF JAPAN PRO WRESTLING. Akiyama vs anyone from the Big Japan team sounds great, and here he focuses on destroying Daichi, and as you might know Akiyama vs young punk has been the best match in puro for the last 10 years and it delivers once again as Akiyama just kills Daichi with brutal knees.
  3. Incredible sprint. It's easy to imagine an under 10 minute sprint with a bunch of bomb throwing falling apart due to questionable selling and transitions but luckily Akiyama is here and he is about as good as you'll get when it comes to japanese wrestlers and structuring matches. Every transition here felt logical and satisfying AND managed to accomplish what they were going for in the match. Loved how the initial onslaught was vindicated in the finish. And I must say The Bodyguard has a badass Powerslam. ***1/4
