This was way better than anyone expected it to be. The early gritty collar and elbow tie up set the tone for this match. Riddle showed he was the superior grappler early on and Woods used power to hit some vertical drop suplexes on Riddle including a great looking suplex from an arm bar counter. Woods also pulled out an impressive press slam into a gut buster. The highlight though was Riddle dead lifting Woods from the ring apron while he was standing on the second rope and hitting a nasty German suplex that surprising enough didn't end with a neck injury or fractured arm. The finish was pretty clever with Riddle hitting an unexpected RKO. Woods singles match I've ever seen.

Another match that was much better than I was expecting it to be. They start with the New Day as faces and AJ and Omos as heels but the roles are reversed in this as the New Day refuse to wrestle Omos early on and they put an extensive beatdown on AJ and constantly cut him off from tagging in Omos. Eventually the anticipation to seeing Omos make his in ring debut is built up and we get a hot tag that delivers with Omos coming in absolutely wrecking the New Day; he catches Kofi with a Volk Han aikido wristlock throw and he absolutely crushes Woods' ribes with a brutal rib breaker. The Headshrinkers like assisted springboard Phenomenal Forearm was a great looking spot as was the big finishing bomb from Omos on Kofi. Another match that I would say exceeded expectations on this card.

Really good match from Main Event that picked up steam the longer it went. I really enjoyed the elongated finishing stretch. I know Kofi's rep but I thought he was really good in this match, as was Xavier Woods. New Day worked the crowd really well. Kidd and Cesaro both seem like good mechanics and work well as a team but the purpose of this was to get New Day over and they did that. **1/4
