I probably just didn't look hard enough, but is the Bull winning the big red belt match anywhere

EDIT: Well I see it was taped since lorefice did a review of it http://www.quebrada.net/reviews/ajw19900104.html but it was clipped.

A Youtube video of the match is literally the first result that shows up on Google. Really good match to get Bull over, by the way. *1/2 is bullshit.

I would have expected Golga to be picked up by deep cut indy fat guys the same way Doink was for the smaller set, but it never really did. Seemed like fat guy in brown mask wearing a South Park shirt could have still been getting good reactions in mid 2000s Arkansas.

I'm not looking back in the thread and I may have posted about this previously in this thread, but I became aware of the existence of AWA guys wrestling a paid show at a Cereal convention circa 1988-89. The wrestlers had names given to them of cereal mascots of the day (Greg Gagne introduced as "Captain Crunch" for example). I had a line on the tape but the guy I was discussing it with worked there and it would have been a possible get-fired risk had he sent me the tape, so he didn't end up doing it.

I lost track of him years ago, but knowing the tape exists makes me hope it somehow gets out someday.

This sounds Team Challenge Series level in terms of comedy. Hope it makes it out there someday.

I don't know if it's been discussed on here, but I don't think any footage is out there of MTV's broadcast of The Brawl to End It All.  The War to Settle the Score is out there and was even reran on MTV numerous times a few years after, but The Brawl is one that I haven't seen anything of.  The MSG broadcast of The Brawl exists and is in circulation, but the MTV broadcast is the one that's not circulating and I'm honestly curious what MTV's coverage looked like.

Some of these have been mentioned but these are matches that got votes for Wrestling Observer MOTY that we have little to no footage of:

Rhodes vs. Flair, 9/17/81 (Flair's first title win)

Flair vs. Steamboat, 2/7/82 (Greensboro Coliseum)

Flair vs. Backlund, 7/4/82 (Omni, WWF vs. NWA title)

Flair vs. Hansen, 10/3/82 (Omni)

Rose vs. Schultz, Summer of '82? (Portland Chain Match)

Steamboat vs. Slater, 6/4/84  (Falls Count Anywhere, Greenville, SC)

Midnight Express vs. Anderson & Blanchard, 8/26/88 (Tag Titles, Greensboro Coliseum)

The ending of flairs first title win is available. The whole match would be great though.

...also backlund in his book claimed that his match vs flair was not taped via mutual agreement between the NWA and WWF, however I would bet it was actually taped like LBOA was. If it was it'll be available out of the vault someday I am sure.

And by this logic Flair-Hansen is almost certainly somewhere in the vault.

The Portland Chain Match is lost to history. They didn't tape any house shows and we're lucky to have what we have. The Kansas City title change is such a huge historical moment that if the whole match was out there, we certainly would have had it for years one would think. Mid Atlantic (JCP) didn't seem to tape much of their early 80's house shows, all we've ever seen was from the Garbage Tapes and handhelds.

The MTV broadcast of the Brawl to End It All is interesting. There's a YouTube commercial for an airing of both specials, so presumably they did reruns of them both at times. There's no shortage of VHS tapings of MTV, so it really seems like this has to be out there somewhere. Strange it hasn't turned up yet tbh.
