Loss Report post Posted June 7, 2012 Gotta love the Honky Tonk Man. This is *quite* the Jimmy Hart production.
Kevin Ridge Report post Posted June 13, 2012 Full music video with a song sounding similar to Honky's WWF entrance theme. It's a decent video but the song lacks the WWF's theme's charm.
Exposer Report post Posted June 25, 2012 This was so ridiculous and absurd.
soup23 Report post Posted July 4, 2012 Honky looks so dated in this setting.
El-P Report post Posted December 11, 2012 Jimmy Hart does a great job plagiarizing himself, including using some of the same exact lyrics from the original HTK song. But seriously, a video for the HTK in 1994, this was the sign WCW was not going into a good direction. The writing was on the wall for guys like Austin, Pillman, Badd, Cactus (who was leaving anyway) who had busted their ass for years and saw guys like Flair & Arn hanging on their spots and Hogan's friends coming in mass. Not surprising that these four would be on the forefront of WWF's renaissance in 1996.
PeteF3 Report post Posted May 19, 2014 Dig that rhyming of "back" with "back" in the opening verse. For what it is, this is...not a terrible production at all. It's a total waste and HTM would add nothing to this promotion, but it's better than the Van Hammer videos.
