JerryvonKramer Report post Posted April 18, 2016 I've just realised Canadian Strongman Dino Bravo wasn't nominated.
Matt D Report post Posted April 18, 2016 Great. Now do your best to forget it.
JerryvonKramer Report post Posted April 18, 2016 His late 70s tag team run with Dominic Denucci is underrated.
goc Report post Posted April 18, 2016 Dino Bravo had a very good career before he went to WWF.
Mr. Lacelle Report post Posted April 18, 2016 I voted for him on the strength of his Montreal run which I loved. Didn't even realize he wasn't nominated
Matt D Report post Posted April 18, 2016 I was mostly kidding. I really like the Blackwell match, but it's a hell of a decline.
JRGoldman Report post Posted April 29, 2016 Did Umaga not get nominated, or am I just unable to use a search function effectively?
Dylan Waco Report post Posted April 29, 2016 He did not
JRGoldman Report post Posted April 29, 2016 I wouldn't have voted for him, but I feel as though he would have gotten some love. He was in a lot of people's match of the decade. I guess it's sort of noteworthy and interesting that two of John Cena's five best matches were against people that went un-nominated. That feels like a credit to Cena's skill that couldn't really be addressed until after we saw how this all shook out.
El McKell Report post Posted April 29, 2016 What's the other top five Cena match against someone who wasn't nominated? Maybe I'm forgetting something obvious.
JRGoldman Report post Posted April 29, 2016 I'm high on the Khali match.
Grimmas Report post Posted April 29, 2016 I wish I nominated Little Tokyo.
Eegah Report post Posted April 30, 2016 Minis definitely got short changed in the process.
Grimmas Report post Posted April 30, 2016 Minis definitely got short changed in the process. Dorada and Virus made the top 100, that's the best one could expect. Maybe Espectrito or Sagrada Jr...
Eegah Report post Posted April 30, 2016 Â Â Minis definitely got short changed in the process. Dorada and Virus made the top 100, that's the best one could expect. Maybe Espectrito or Sagrada Jr... I was just grabbing the low hanging fruit pun.
funkdoc Report post Posted April 30, 2016 wait dorada didn't even come close to the 100 i thought
Grimmas Report post Posted April 30, 2016 wait dorada didn't even come close to the 100 i thought Yeah... oops. He was in mine.
El-P Report post Posted April 30, 2016 Takako Inoue, obviously. My fault.
JDerbyshire Report post Posted April 30, 2016 He wouldn't have made my #100 and he has a LOT of crap to his name, especially in recent years, but given the length of his run and so-called 'recency bias' & 'mainstream US bias', I was a little surprised Kane didn't receive a nomination. jamesie_2015 Report post Posted April 30, 2016  Jody Fleisch is also someone who might have come under consideration, especially since Jonny Storm randomly ended up on the ballot. Hung like a horse as well - one of my more bizarre wrestling memories is talking to Steve Corino in a locker room while Fleisch paced around naked, dick swinging up and down like a drawbridge. I'm sorry but I have to bump this quote up. What a glorious piece of writing. LIKE A DRAWBRIDGE.
BuryWindham Report post Posted May 2, 2016 I missed the window to nominate him but definitely Tojo Yamamoto the guy was a pure heat magnet one of the best heels of the era.
RyanClingman Report post Posted May 10, 2016 I don't know if anyone has mentioned him yet, but it's pretty crazy that Baby Face was never nominated. I would rank his work above that of Dynamite, at least from what I have seen.
goc Report post Posted May 11, 2016 Yea I think I might have voted for him as well, I had La Fiera vs. Baby Face as my favorite match of the 80s Lucha set and I've liked every match of his that I've seen.
Iron Anderson Report post Posted May 16, 2016 Did Johnny Valentine get a nod? How about Paul Jones?
Matt D Report post Posted May 16, 2016 I think there probably is JUST enough footage with Jones and he's better than people would have reason to think. That's the general exploratory mindset (PWO conventional wisdom). Valentine probably doesn't have quite enough though.
