You do a great job of putting over the French based wrestlers. I must admit, I am not as familiar with names like Frank Valois, Frenchy Martin, Mad Dog Lefebvre, the Rougue Brothers and Gilles Poison but you run this just as I would have expected it to be like in 1984 Quebec. Each of our promotions haves such a different twist that this game is getting really interesting to read and see where each of us will take our promotions. Keep up the great work.

One question, who is Chili Bowl?

LUTTE INTERNATIONALE TV

Taped at CHLT-TV Studios, Sherbrooke, QC

June 23rd, 1984

hqdefault.jpg

(After the opening credits, we’re going to the broadcast booth where Guy Hauray & Édouard Carpentier are waiting to open the show.)

Guy Hauray: Hello everyone, this is Guy Hauray along with Édouard Carpentier and welcome to another edition of Lutte Internationale. Eddie, this week, another jampacked show for our fans with some interesting things that transpired just last night in our main event.

Édouard Carpentier: And this could have some pretty direct repercussions in what we’re gonna see this week. Frenchy’s Legion might have made their first faux pas since coming together as a group in that finish last night.

Guy Hauray: Indeed, they did. We will take you back in just a few moments to our main event last night at the Centre Paul-Sauvé in an impromptu match as Armand & Jacques Rougeau battled the self-proclaimed International Heavyweight Champion Greg Valentine & Hercules Ayala with wrestling legend Pat O’Connor acting as the special guest referee. As you’ll see in this footage, someone would have plenty of reasons to be upset at Frenchy’s Legion, but more specifically, Frenchy’s gatekeeper for Greg Valentine, George “The Animal” Steele. Let’s take a close look right now.

******EXCLUSIVE FOOTAGE*****

(Footage from the final moments of the main event on last night’s show is shown. After several minutes of being dominated by Greg Valentine & Hercules Ayala, Armand Rougeau finally makes the hot tag to brother Jacques. Soon enough, all 4 men find themselves in the ring at the same time and special referee, wrestling great Pat O’Connor, has a hard time controlling everyone. Things go south when Jacques is about to swing at Greg Valentine but he accidentally elbows O’Connor, who’s momentarily dazed. While the referee is stunned, George “The Animal” Steele runs in while Greg Valentine clotheslines Jacques Rougeau over the top rope. O’Connor regains his senses but sees Valentine & Jacques fighting outside so he tries to stop them. In the meantime, Steele grabs Valentine’s championship belt and wants to toss it to Ayala but his toss comes short and Armand intercepts the title belt. Armand turns around and smacks Ayala straight in the forehead! Armand tosses the title outside the ring and covers Ayala as O’Connor turns around and makes the count, unaware of what happened. The crowd goes nuts as the Rougeaus beat Greg Valentine & Hercules Ayala at their own game. The footage ends with Ayala screaming at George Steele while Valentine and Frenchy are trying to restrain The Animal and retreat backstage.)

(Back from the footage, we’re about to go back to Guy Hauray & Édouard Carpentier but here comes Frenchy Martin along with his Legion, George Steele, Mad Dog Lefebvre & Richard “Le Magnifique” Charland. Frenchy takes the mic and is getting heavy boos from the audience.)

Frenchy Martin: Vos yeules!

(Translation : Shut up! I’ve got something to say! (Crowd boos) If there’s something I’m happy about today, it’s to know that my Legion won’t be robbed today like they were last night at Centre Paul-Sauvé. Everyone who was there saw that I consider highway robbery and scandalous! The Rougeaus totally cheated to win their match last night and special referee Pat O’Connor absolutely did nothing to stop them! That’s proof thatthere’s a conspiracy from frank Valois and Lutte Internationale against my Legion and for the Rougeaus. My champion, THE champion Greg Valentine had even decided to come on TV to show everyone what a real champion is like but he changed his mind and is protesting by staying home. Frank Valois, Lutte Internationale, everything that is happening is your fault once again. A professional and competent referee wouldn’t have let this slide by. But we’ll find the best revenge possible. The Animal, the Mad Dog and Le Magnifique, they’re ready to vent on anyone in the back thinking they’re ready to face them. So, who will it be?

(Then, we see Rick Martel & Billy Robinson making their way to the ring. Martel & Robinson step inside the ring while Frenchy and his Legion remain outside)

(Translation : Frenchy, Greg Valentine isn’t here because he’s protesting about something. He’s not here because he’s a coward, like the rest of your Legion! Valentine has always been this way and that won’t change with time. He’ll always be a stinkin’ coward. But in the meantime, Frenchy, if your boys need to loosen up, Billy and I, we’re ready to face them right now!

(Translation : You’ve always been that way Ricky; all heart, no brains. I don’t know if you know how to count but there’s 3 of my boys and 2 of you. I don’t care but you’re gonna get your ass kicked! C’mon, boys, get ‘em!)

(George Steele, Mad Dog Lefebvre and Richard Charland are now circling the ring and both Ricky Martel & Billy Robinson are now back-to-back, trying to cover all bases. Frenchy’s Legion are now on the ring apron and about to get in the ring when all of a sudden, Hercules Ayala runs in to join Martel & Robinson. Frenchy is irate and the Legion is doing their best to restrain George “The Animal” Steele and keep him from getting in the ring.)

Rick Martel: Si tu sais compter, Frenchy....on est maintenant 3. On se voit tantôt! (Translation : if you know how to count Frenchy….we’re now 3. See you later!)

(The babyfaces & Frenchy’s Legion are exchanging words as we return to the broadcast booth.)

Guy Hauray: Eddie, looks like we’re gonna have one helluva main event tonight!

Édouard Carpentier: Indeed, Guy. Hercules is still upset at George Steele nailing him with that belt and costing he & Greg Valentine the match against the Rougeaus last night. He’ll now have the opportunity to avenge that loss and settle his score with The Animal!

Guy Hauray: That’s still to come but first, we have a few other matches to go before this big 6-Men Tag Team match so let’s get to the action!

*******************************PROMO AD FOR TORONTO JOINT SHOW TONIGHT***********************************

Match #1

The Oates Brothers vs The Wild Samoans (w/Eddy “The Brain” Creatchman)

Eddy Creatchman seems to have his tag team primed for their International Tag Team Championship match on July 5 at the Montreal Forum as the Wild Samoans are completely steamrolling through Ted & Jerry Oates. Afa picks up the win in less than 4 minutes with a Samoan Drop on Jerry Oates.

Winners: The Wild Samoans

(After the match, Eddy Creatchman goes to the broadcast booth, followed by the Wild Samoans.)

Guy Hauray: Eddy, another impressive performance from your team, as we’re getting closer to the tag team match against the Rougeau Brothers on July 5th.

(Translation : As you could see, Guy, my Samoans are in top condition. They’re hungry in every sense of the word! I’ve been barely feeding them for days, just to keep their savage instinct in check until July 5. Frank Valois signed those damn Rougeaus’ death warrants by booking them against my Samoans. But that will be the greatest of pleasures to me. Because as fast as the Rougeaus came back, as fast they will disappear. I have no intention whatsoever to ask my Samoans to go easy on them. This will be the worst beating those snot-nosed punk kid Rougeaus will ever get. And furthermore, my Samoans will become International Tag Team Champions. What could you ask more? On July 5, it will be the Creatchman Family’s glorious moment! And before I go: next week, Dino Bravo, I didn’t forget about you! You’ll find out who’ll be your opponent at the Forum. Believe you me, you too will get the ass kicking of your life!)

(Eddy Creatchman leaves with his Samoans, but not before Afa & Sika stare holes in Guy Hauray and walk back to the locker room with their manager)

Guy Hauray: There you have it, looks like the Wild Samoans are ready for the Montreal Forum supercard on July 5. We’ll be right back!

*******************COMMERCIAL BREAK*******************************

Match #2

Chicky Starr vs Bobby Kay

Singles action this week for one half of the Caribbean Connection as Chicky Starr looked particularly great against another tag team specialist in Bobby Kay. Chicky Starr eventually was able to secure the victory, thanks to his trademark DDT in around 3 minutes.

Winner: Chicky Starr

********************COMMERCIAL BREAK/PROMO FOR JOINT WWF/LUTTE INTERNATIONALE SHOW IN TORONTO TONIGHT***********************

Match #3

Kendo Nagasaki vs Pete Doherty

This is the first TV appearance for the mysterious Kendo Nagasaki on Lutte Internationale and he didn’t fail to impress, even being able to intimidate the veteran Doherty by spitting green mist prior to the match’s start. Doherty tried his best to overcome Nagasaki but the oriental masked man used his versatile combination of technical wrestling and martial skills to neutralize Doherty. Nagasaki finished off Doherty with a Rolling Fireman’s Carry Slam that he calls the Kamikaze Crash.

Winner: Kendo Nagasaki

******************COMMERCIAL BREAK********************

(Back from the commercial break, the camera is on a championship belt, lying on a table in front of Guy Hauray & Édouard Carpentier)

Guy Hauray: Welcome back to Lutte Internationale and before we go to our main event, we have a big announcement to make for next week’s show. On our final episode before the Montreal Forum supercard on July 5, we will have a battle royal to crown our inaugural International TV Champion! 15 men will compete to win this prestigious championship.

Édouard Carpentier: It should be a very exciting main event next week and we should also mention that no matter who wins this championship, the battle royal runner-up should not be worried because he will be granted an automatic rematch against the champion at the Montreal Forum on July 5!

Guy Hauray: So, Eddie, any predictions on who’s gonna come out on top as our inaugural TV champion?

Édouard Carpentier: That’s a hard question but if you look at the participants involved with the experience factor, someone like Billy Robinson or Baron Von Raschke could easily win this. But it’s anyone’s guess and anything can happen!

Guy Hauray: So, this is next week but now, let’s go to our main event!

Match #4

MAIN EVENT

6-Men Tag Team Match

Billy Robinson, Rick Martel & Hercules Ayala vs Frenchy’s Legion (George “The Animal” Steele, Mad Dog Lefebvre & Richard “Le Magnifique” Charland, w/Frenchy Martin)

Obviously, there’s still a lot of tension stemming from the opening segment in which Hercules Ayala showed up to be Billy Robinson & Rick Martel’s tag team partner for the night. During the match, Guy Hauray & Édouard Carpentier mention the joint card in Toronto tonight with the World Wrestling Federation and announce that George “The Animal” Steele & Mad Dog Lefebvre will take on The Caribbean Connection in Toronto with the winning team fighting whoever wins the International Tag Team Championship at the Forum at a later date. Robinson & Martel’s quickness is able to gain them an advantage early on but Richard Charland’s dirty tactics allow Frenchy’s Legion to regain control in the middle of the match. Frenchy’s Legion members work on Martel’s shoulder, injured early in the match and they’re doing everything to keep Hercules Ayala to get inside the ring. However, Richard Charland tries one high risk move too many and Martel lifts his boot to connect with Charland’s face. Martel is able to regain his corner and Hercules Ayala gets the hot tag. The Puerto Rican is on fire and hits everything and everyone in sights. Finally, as the end of the match approaches, Hercules Ayala is finally alone with George “The Animal” Steele. Both madmen start hitting each other hard but Ayala gets the upper hand. At some point, Frenchy Martin climbs on the ring apron in an attempt to get Ayala’s attention but Rick Martel sees him and trips him down the apron. Martel connects with a right hand and all hell breaks loose outside as Martel/Robinson are fighting with Lefebvre/Charland. In the melee, Ayala sets up Steele for an atomic drop but he’s close from Frenchy’s Legion ‘s corner so Frenchy grabs Ayala’s ankle and trips him. Ayala goes down and The Animal falls on Ayala, connecting with somewhat of an improvised splash and referee Adrien Desbois turns back in time to make the 3 count, allowing Frenchy’s Legion to get the victory.

Winners: Frenchy’s Legion (George “The Animal” Steele, Mad Dog Lefebvre & Richard Charland)

(George Steele is quickly pulled out of the ring by Mad Dog Lefebvre & Richard Charland as Billy Robinson & Rick Martel climb in the ring too late to realize what just happened. Robinson & Martel try to calm down Hercules Ayala as the show goes off the air while Frenchy Martin is jubilating, celebrating with his men.)

I hated leaving Montreal empty, but I'm glad somebody who is way more familiar with the territory picked it up. You're knocking it out of the park so far. I tried to add aspects of what Montreal was to what I wanted to do, but you seem to be more focused on staying true to the wrestling in the area.

One thing I can tell you is that I built up King Tonga huge, so you can capitalize on that.

I'll do my best with King Tonga. I do have some plans for Tonga but I might privilege a slow build for him in the process. I have lots of star power on my roster at the moment and it's gonna be quite the balancing act for me but I'm confident I'll be able to give everyone their moment to shine! B)

hqdefault.jpg

(After the opening credits, camera goes to Guy Hauray & Édouard Carpentier, ready to start this week’s episode.)

Guy Hauray: Hello, wrestling fans, and welcome to our final episode before our supercard at the Montreal Forum this Thursday night. This week, we will finally find out who will Dino Bravo face on Thursday night per Eddie Creatchman and we will also crown our inaugural International TV Champion!

Édouard Carpentier: It’s gonna be a very interesting and exciting hour of wrestling and we should also hear both Rick Martel & Greg Valentine’s final comments heading into their much anticipated match on Thursday night.

Guy Hauray: Thursday night cannot happen soon enough but first, we have a jam-packed hour of wrestling to go to so let’s get started!

Match #1

Buzz Tyler & Pete Doherty vs The Kay Brothers

2 teams used to do the job get a big chance in this opening bout. As explained by Guy Hauray & Édouard Carpentier, the winning team will be entered in the main event’s battle royal to crown the first International TV Champion. Both teams go back and forth but in the end, Buzz Tyler & Pete Doherty gets their first win in Lutte Internationale and move on to the battle royal later tonight.

Winners: Buzz Tyler & Pete Doherty

****************COMMERCIAL BREAK**************

Match #2

“No Class” Bobby Bass vs Jacques Rougeau (w/Raymond Rougeau)

Jacques is in singles action this week against the wily veteran Bobby Bass. Guy & Édouard discuss during the match the huge opportunity for the Rougeaus against the Wild Samoans for the International Tag Team Championship and bring the gold back to the Rougeau family. Jacques Rougeau counters a Bobby Bass back body drop and turns it into a jackknife pin attempt to get the victory.

Winner: Jacques Rougeau

(After the match, Jacques & Raymond are going to the broadcast booth, with Édouard Carpentier waiting to interview them)

Édouard Carpentier: So, Jacques, Raymond...are you ready for your big title match on Thursday night?

(Translation : We can assure you, Édouard, that Raymond and I, we’re more than ready. We’ve been training hard for weeks now, especially since we’ve learned we’d get this title shot. We’ve got things to prove because there’s a couple of people like Eddy Creatchman who believe we’re being handed opportunities we don’t deserve. So let me tell you something, Creatchman: this chance, the Rougeaus have earned it and it’s exactly what we’ll show to your Samoans and the Creatchman Family at the Forum Thursday night! The tag team titles are coming around our waists!)

(Translation : You know, Édouard, there’s a lot of people bitching and moaning behind our back thinking that our family name gave us our spots here. Those people don’t realize all the pressure our name brings to us. Less than anyone else, we can’t afford to make any mistakes. Everyone is watching what we’re doing and they’ll try to exploit any weakness to destroy us. Creatchman doesn’t do anything different than what others said or did before. But the only difference is that this time, Creatchman’s ego will be shaken to its core Thursday night when he’ll see us with our hands raised and the tag team championships. This will be the best response we’ll ever give to our detractors. We guarantee you that those titles are ours!)

(The Rougeaus return backstage, extremely confident)

Édouard: By the sound of this, Guy, I say that the Rougeau Brothers are ready to face the Wild Samoans on Thursday night. And they could very well pull this off.

Guy: If any team can do it, it’s Jacques & Raymond. But they’ll have to keep an eye on the Creatchman Family, especially The Brain himself, Eddy Creatchman. But when we come back, Bob Backlund is in action!

*************COMMERCIAL BREAK+ MONTREAL FORUM PROMO***********

Match #3

Bob Backlund vs Jerry Oates

The Princeton, Minnesota native makes his singles TV debut here as he wrestles veteran Jerry Oates. Obviously, Backlund’s wrestling acumen proves to be too much for Jerry Oates, who’s more used to work tag team matches than singles. Backlund gets an easy victory by submission via the Crossface Chicken Wing.

Winner: Bob Backlund

******************************COMMERCIAL BREAK***************************

(Back from the commercial break, we see Dino Bravo in street clothes, standing next to Guy Hauray. Bravo seems to be restless, pacing the set.)

Guy Hauray: It’s now time for the announcement we’ve all been waiting for, especially you, Dino. Eddy Creatchman promised you a surprise and in just a few moments, he’ll deliver that surprise to you.

Si tu veux m’amener encore Abdullah, j’suis prêt. Bruiser Brody? J’suis prêt? Stan Hansen? J’suis prêt. N’importe qui! Creatchman, montre-toé la face qu’on en finisse!

(Translation : If Eddy Creatchman does something good, it’s talking about anything and everything. Creatchman, you did everything so I couldn’t make it to the Forum on Thursday night. You sent me Abdullah the Butcher in my way to break my ribs and I’m pretty sure that you brought Baron Von Raschke to Montreal, even though he turned out not to be a member of your family. You tried to get under my skin but I survived and I’m ready. If you wanna bring Abdullah again, bring it on. Bruiser Brody? Bring it on. Stan Hansen? Bring it on. Anyone! Creatchman, show your face so we can finish this!)

(Eddy Creatchman saunters onto the set, with a cigar in his mouth and his trademark cane. Creatchman has a big smile on his face.)

Eddy Creatchman: Dino Bravo...ma p’tite crapule préférée. HAHAHAHA!

(Translation : Dino Bravo…my favorite scumbag. If you only knew how long I’ve been waiting for this moment. For such a grand occasion like the first Lutte Internationale event at the Montreal Forum, I had to prepare something splendorous. Like you said, I could’ve always brought back Abdullah or go get Bruiser Brody or Stan Hansen but I had a much better idea. I checked with all of my contacts around the world and I made them an offer they couldn’t refuse. It didn’t take long for the phone to ring and I got a call from Minneapolis. My old friend Sheik Adnan El-Kaissie called me and said: “Eddy, if you need somebody to beat Dino Bravo, I’ve got exactly the man to do the job. Someone who’s stronger physically and mentally than him!” So this is when I told my friend Adnan : “Of course! I accept your offer.” Dino Bravo, you’ll forever rue this day because I’m announcing to you that this Thursday night at the Montreal Forum, you’ll face none other than the AWA World Heavyweight Champion, Ken Patera! I hope you wrote down your will because no one will recognize you on Friday morning! HAHAHAHA!)

(Eddy walks off the set, still cackling while Dino Bravo seems a tad stunned.)

Guy Hauray: Dino Bravo, are you sure you can beat Ken Patera?

(Translation : I don’t know if I can beat him….but I’ve also got a surprise for Creatchman. But he’ll have to wait until the Forum to find out!)

(Dino Bravo walks off the set, a bit more confident than a few moments ago.)

Guy Hauray: Eddie, what a bombshell! The AWA World Heavyweight Champion Ken Patera will be Dino Bravo’s opponent! Dino didn’t see this coming!

Édouard Carpentier: No one did, Guy and this is why Eddy Creatchman’s the most devious mind in professional wrestling. I just hope for Dino’s sake that his surprise will trump the one he just received!

Guy Hauray: We’ll find out this Thursday at the Forum but we’ve got more action when we come back!

Armand Rougeau vs Leo Burke

This match is also a qualifier for the International TV Championship Battle Royal in tonight’s main event. During the match, Guy & Édouard put over Armand Rougeau as a kid trying to prove himself and stepping out of his brothers’ shadows. Armand is doing his best but Leo Burke’s experience soon overcomes Armand’s quickness. Burke gets the victory with the Sleeper.

Winner: Leo Burke

********COMMERCIAL BREAK + PROMO FOR MONTREAL FORUM SUPERCARD*********

(Back from the commercial break, right before the main event, Guy & Édouard are standing in front of their broadcast booth.)

Guy: Welcome back to Lutte Internationale. As you know, the main event for the Montreal Forum supercard is going to be one of the most intense matches in this territory. We will finally crown a new International Heavyweight Champion – and an undisputed one – as the self-proclaimed International Heavyweight Champion Greg Valentine will take on Rick Martel, who just recently won the WWF Intercontinental Championship. However, Martel’s title won’t be at stakes in this match. Earlier today, we both received video messages from the participants in this main event.

(We first go to Greg Valentine, sitting on a couch with his Big Time Wrestling Heavyweight title belt lying on a table in front of him. Valentine is dressed in shirt & tie, something a tad unusual for him.)

Greg Valentine: In less than a week, we will all finally put this crap to rest. There won’t be any doubt as who is the International Heavyweight Champion – even though, this title proves it. There won’t be anyone questioning my integrity. There won’t be any suit in an office telling me that my championship match, the match that everyone came and paid to see, is unrecognized by the territory or a bogus athletic commission. I will unquestionably prove why I’m the better man. Why I’m the best wrestler in the world. And more importantly, I’ll prove, Rick Martel, that as opposed to you, I don’t have to go to multiple territories to become a champion. All I need is one match in one territory. And when it’s all said and done, Martel, you’ll be looking at the real International Heavyweight Champion. And guess what, Ricky Boy....I’m gonna do everyone in Lutte Internationale a favour and I’m gonna officially announce my first title defense and it’s gonna take place right here, on this program, next week. That’s how confident I am that I’ll beat you and humiliate you, Martel. I hope you’re ready because Frenchy and I, we’ve been planning the greatest post-match celebration ever. And you can bet that our gun for hire, Dr. D himself, will make sure that you don’t pull anything funny. See you on the 5th, Rick!

(We then go to footage from Rick Martel, standing outside of his house, dressed in shorts and a t-shirt.)

(Translation : I would lie if I said that I wasn’t feeling a tad nervous for the Montreal Forum supercard on Thursday night. Not because I don’t believe in my skills. Not because I’m afraid of Greg Valentine or Frenchy’s Legion. I’m a tad nervous because I know what this match means. Not only for me but for the entire Province of Quebec. For the past month, Valentine is walking around with a worthless title belt and claims to be a champion that he is not. I’ve always owed it to myself to show honesty and integrity. To acknowledge that once in a while, I meet my match with guys better than me. As opposed to Greg Valentine, I can recognize a true champion when I see one. Right now, Valentine, you’re only playing champion. I’ve been whispered to my ear that you might be seeking attention and be a bit jealous of me winning titles in multiple territories. If that’s the case, that juste proves what I’ve always thought of Valentine: somebody who’s insecure and always needs to have his ego boosted. But if there’s one thing Valentine and I agree on, it’s that after Thursday night, there won’t be any doubt on who will be the real International Heavyweight Champion. Done with the lies. People of Montreal will finally have a true champion they’ll be proud of. Valentine, I hope you’re ready for the fight of your life because I am!)

(Back to the broadcast booth)

Guy: So, some very interesting comments from the participants in our main event on Thursday night. Eddie, do you want to venture a prediction for this one?

Édouard: The only thing I’ll predict will be that this is gonna be an historic night and historic match. Both men are extremely talented and determined to walk out of the Forum as the International Heavyweight Champion. We’ll have to wait for Thursday night to find out!

Guy: One thing we won’t have to wait for any longer will be our main event. We’re about to crown our first International TV Champion! Right now!

Match #5

MAIN EVENT

15-Men Battle Royal for the International TV Championship

Participants: Leo Burke, Billy Robinson, Chicky Starr, Gino Brito, Mad Dog Lefebvre, Sheik Ali, King Tonga, Richard Charland, Carlos Colon, Baron Von Raschke, Samu, Buzz Tyler, Pete Doherty, Gilles Poisson, Kendo Nagasaki

As soon as the bell rings, everyone jumps on each other. As expected, Buzz Tyler & Pete Doherty are the first ones eliminated. Lots of teaming up, especially with Frenchy’s Legion members & Creatchman Family members being involved in the match. Ali, Samu & Tonga work together throughout the match and they’re able to eliminate Baron Von Raschke mid-way throught he match. The Creatchman Family is standing strong and everything is fine until Billy Robinson is able to eliminate King Tonga with 5 men remaining in the ring. We’re now down to 4 with Samu, Sheik Ali, Billy Robinson & Gino Brito but a frustrated Tonga climbs on the apron and guillotines Robinson, allowing Samu to eliminate Robinson. Tonga continues his attack on Robinson outside until the referees clean up the mess. And then, they were three: Samu, Sheik Ali & Gino Brito. Things are looking dire for the fiery Italian as The Creatchman Family has the strength in numbers. Eddy Creatchman is at ringside for the match and while the referees are trying to separate King Tonga & Billy Robinson, he slips a bag of powder to Sheik Ali in the ring. Samu holds Brito and Ali is about to throw the powder....but Brito dodges and Samu gets blinded! Sheik Ali is stunned and Gino Brito dropkicks him outside for the elimination! Samu cannot defend himself as Gino Brito clotheslines him over the top rope to win the match. We now have our first International TV Champion and it’s Gino Brito! Crowd goes nuts as Gino himself can’t believe what just happened. Senior referee Adrien Desbois climbs in the ring and presents Gino Brito with the International TV Championship belt. The episode ends with Gino Brito celebrating in the ring.

I must say that I am really getting into this promotion. Your are doing great work focusing on three or four major angles and throw in the French flavor and I feel like I am in Quebec in the 1980's. I was in Montreal a bunch of times in the early 90's and felt like it was Montreal vs the World and your promotion, especially the Rougues and Dino Bravo give off that same feel. You have really captured the culture of your promotion and that it what wrestling is all about. Wrestling is current events on stage and you got it going in the right direction.
