UWF has settled in a good grove here and you've got some pretty prime situations unfolding. We know what will happen with Magnum in just a few short months but until then he looks great.  I also like the use of Big Bubba here. In 86 he was starting to get his legs about him and then really got it together in 87 only to improve in 88. You've started him on that direction here.

Great segment with Lawler. I don't think the steel cage match will end well for HTM. I like the Magnum/US Express alliance. Magnum vs. Murdoch should be a good one. Dr. Death is fired up this week. Slater/RnR vs. Midnights/Big Bubba with Cornette handcuffed to Watts is Mid South wrestling at it's best. Royal hanging with Brickhouse bumps him up a notch. Fun ending as the numbers game is starting to even up with the Wright Army.

I agree with everyone....that promo was classic Lawler....but I can't help but think he's had it a little to easy with Honky so far....I bet HTM has something up his sleeve for this cage match that Lawler won't see coming.

Magnum/US Express fits like a glove, great team!

Perfect set up with Cornette/Watts in that promo...Slater/Rock & Roll vs. Midnight/Bubba is a going to be fun and the added stip with Cornette makes it even more perfect!

MAJOR UWF SHOWS FOR THE WEEK OF 8/4/86

ATLANTA, GEORGIA:  THE OMNI

Sean Royal beats Cuban Assassin in an upset victory that really got the fans going as they were fuming over the Assassin’s anti-American ring entrance

The Demon (Brian Adams in a red mask) crushed Action Jackson with a powerbomb from the big man

Iceman Parsons defeats the Iranian Assassin with the Butt Bump.  The Cuban Assassin tried to run in but was caught by Sean Royal who enjoyed continuing his fight from earlier.

#1 Contenders Match for the NWA National Tag Titles:  The Fab Ones defeated Doom as Ernie Ladd distracted the ref and Stan Lane pulled out some brass knucks and clobbered Ron Simmons and gained the 3 count.

Steve “Dr. Death” Williams defeated the Warlord with Skandar Akbar with the Oklahoma Stampede.  Dr. Death also delighted the fans as he caught Akbar with a big football tackle as the manager tried to stick his nose where it didn’t belong.

UWF TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH:  Jeff Jarrett & Brad Armstrong defeated the Long Riders (Bass & Bart) with Ron Wright as JJ caught Bart with the Inverted Russian Legsweep.

UWF CONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH:  Terry Taylor defeated Ron Fuller with a Flying Forearm

UWF SOUTHERN TITLE MATCH:  Lex Luger defeated JYD as Baby Doll distracted the ref which allowed Ernie Ladd to enter the ring and hit the Dog with a Big Boot as Lex held him.  Luger followed this up with a powerslam for the victory.  It is obvious that Ladd and Baby Doll’s Perfect Alliance is a very dangerous organization.

NWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH:  The Road Warriors with Paul Ellering wrestled Devastation Inc. (Barbarian & Haku) with Skandar Akbar to a Double Count-out in a brawl that fans in the Omni will not soon forget.  The Road Warriors may have found a team as powerful and crazy as the are as we saw power move after power move!  The fight outside the ring started with Haku on the floor being lifted up by Animal.  Hawk actually connected with the top rope Doomsday Device all the way to the arena floor.  Barbarian came over and it was obvious that both teams were more interested in hurting their opponents then getting the win.

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE:  MID-SOUTH COLISEUM

Atlantis defeats Tim Brooks with a Top Rope Plancha

Scott Doring defeats Rocky Iaukea with a powerslam

The Devils Duo (Vines &Sword) defeats Memphis Vice with some dirty tactics as Sword argued with the ref and Vines hit a low blow on Bryant

Buddy Landell with Coach Jack Brisco defeated Brickhouse Brown with the Figure 4

U.S. Express (Windham & Rotundo) defeated Ole Anderson & Ivan Koloff in a real war as Windham actually hit a Running Bulldog on Ivan on the cement floor and then got him back in the ring and rolled him up for the three count.  Rotundo and Ole were feuding on the other side of the arena floor as this occurred.

6 Man Tag Match:  Rock n Roll Express & Dick Slater vs The Midnight Express and Big Bubba Rogers with Jim Cornette. If Slater and the RnR Express win, Slater gets 5 minutes alone with Jim Cornette.  This match was wild and very rarely was one on one as this match was bonzo gonzo much of the time as there was often multiple members of each team fighting at once.  Rogers and the Express did a nice job of isolating Morton at one point but once he made the tag, it was all babyfaces!  Slater took care of Rogers with multiple tapped right fists as Cornette was screaming about a DQ.  The end saw the double drop kick on Condrey by Morton and Gibson.  As Cornette was in shock that he now had to get in the ring to face Slater, BBR came up from behind Slater with the night stick and he went to work on his former stable mate.  Once Slater was basically out of it, Cornette came in for his 5 minutes which he threw girly punches and kicks at Slater as Rogers and the Midnight Express made sure the Rock n Roll Express didn’t interfere.

UWF TITLE MATCH:  Magnum T.A. defeats Dick Murdoch with Ron Wright in a nice brawl that eventually saw T.A. hit the Belly to Belly.

STEEL CAGE MATCH:  Jerry Lawler beats the Honk Tonk Man in a bloody brawl that saw Lawler take his fist drop to the extreme as he came off the top of the cage.

Tough night in Atlanta for the Foreign Assassins.  Simmons is going to get his revenge on the Fabs and it ain't going to be pretty.  Williams getting one up on Akbar means we'll be hearing from Akbar on TV for sure.  Big wins for the younger guys in the Omni.  Ladd is on such a huge roll of late.  He might have actually benefited from that Texas snafu.  Great hoss battle for the Omni main with a wild finish.

Good maintenance wins for Atlantis, Doring and the Duo.  Landell continues to be a fascinating storyline.  Easily the one I am most interested in story-wise you have going.  Wild match between the Express and that would have the mid-south area fans rabid.  Man, I'm sure the fans were LIVID at Corny and BBR after that.  Love how everyone is using Magnum as..well, Magnum.  Such a force of nature.  Huge finish for HTM/Lawler.  If any other match had been the main I would have called you clinically insane.  Memphis would have gone bonkers for that match especially with that finish.

Sean Royal is making a name for himself here, as is the Demon. Good seeing Ice Man get a crowd pleasing win. Fab Ones cheat to become number one contenders. I'll say I'm ok with this just because now I get to see RnR take on the Fabs. I know the crowd popped hard when Dr. Death took it to Akbar. Big title defense for Brad and JJ. This feud with the Long Riders have really elevated them. Taylor goes from a nice TV title run to a nice Continental reign. He's really been a top name in the NWA. Man, the Perfect Alliance really knows how to work the numbers game as JYD found this out the hard way. What a brawl to end the show! The Doomsday Device on the arena floor was insane!

I really like the Atlantis build. Always like seeing the Devil's Duo get a win. Coach Jack is working wonders with Landell. US Express get a big win over the grizzled team of Ole and Ivan. Fun 6 man tag that would of had the fans rocking. Faces win but heels get the last laugh. Great heat for Bubba and Cornette. Magnum continues his roll with a win over Murdoch. It's really sad to know what's coming because Magnum really was a huge star. What a blow off to Lawler/HTM! Lawler hitting the fist drop from the top of the cage is a visual that will last forever. I hope the cameras were rolling.

Wow so much great stuff on these shows! I was skeptical about Ladd pairing up with Luger/Baby Doll at first but it's working out really well.

I'm super excited at the prospect of seeing the heel Fabs challenge the Rock & Roll Express for the National Tag Titles, this will be a sell out anywhere in the territory!

I feel like the US Express really needed that win over a couple of vets like Ole/Ivan to establish them and show that young Kendall isn't in over his head tagging with Rotundo.

Magnum is THE star of the UWF right now and it think it's serving him well here to not have a Dusty type to play second fiddle to like he did in this real life era of Crockett.

Great win for Lawler as it seems he may have finally shut HTM up for good.

The visual of Lawler coming off the cage with the fist in a bloody brawl would be enough for me to buy this video cassette. Magnum and Dick Murdoch would be a great little match at this point and Magnum continues to rise to the top of not only the UWF but the NWA. I don't know if I can buy the Kendall Windham US express... it does establish them but at the cost of Ole and Ivan who are legit at this point. Kendall was never that believable to me and this match rings true with that. Luger defeating JYD would follow that same sentiment in some degree. I know Luger has a good 86 but you sacrifice the JYD who has a name and true star power. You keep doing your thing but I just needed to add my two cents.

Thank you for your comments but I must disagree with a few things.  By this point in his career, Lex Luger is ranked in the top 10 by PWI and will hold that ranking for years.  JYD maybe a star with the fans but due to some poor lifestyle choices, can no longer go more than 10 minutes in the ring.  Kendall obviously is not Barry but in 1986, he was over pretty big in Florida and held the Florida HW title 4 times in the last year while Ole is basically done.  Ivan has a little left but loses way more than he wins in 86 and would be a nice person to have put over a patriotic team.

I understand your rationale and thought process that PWI top 10s are a way to go by but I still stand by my point. 86 Ole had something to give more than jobbing to Kendall Windham and sure Ivan may not have had much in the tank but being a mouthpiece for Nikita and putting on decent matches is a good spot. I think our respective feelings about Lex Luger are polar opposites at this point... even with his #9 ranking in the NWA and lead in a Florida promotion that was all but dead in the water.

I think my biggest thing is that guys like Ivan, Ole, and JYD are all names with value and I don't know if it would be best for business to have them go down to these younger guys who are not as established... but I think too much real life instead of the world's we've created... plus I don't think there's any way in the world those three guys would stay around if that's what their roles were in the company given their name value. If we went solely off of what we're doing here and didn't think at all about real life then we'd be in a conundrum with rookies having monster pushes without seasoning and guys with value being sacrificed to younger talent in our world based off of what they were doing in real life... confusing isn't it?

You do you is all I am saying, I just wanted to voice my concern over how those three in particular were pushed aside for Kendall who I definitely don't think had any reason to be over them given his tenure in our game or in real life, Lex who is still green as grass but does have a great upside, and Rotundo who in real life at this point was in a good spot from the WWF and in our game has done some traveling but is definitely worthy of a solid push.

Keep doing work though and I will watch their ascent to justify the means by which the got there.

While Lex is a bit green, he did wrestle Ric Flair at this time to a 2/3 falls draw so if the NWA saw enough in him to do that to the  World Champ, I think I will also.  Ole also put a green as grass Tommy Rich over in 1979 so I could seem him and Watts doing what is best for the company.  As for JYD, by this time, he had NO Showed for Watts enough that our loyalty for him would not be very high.  He is a draw but patiences is wearing thin.  He someone else thinks he is a star. let him go there.

I do think JYD is a star I guess which is my own bias. I would have no problem using him for his strengths as being a draw and fun babyface. I guess that's where my issue with it comes is my personal feelings of his importance in wrestling. If you are willing to move him for a fair price for how he's being booked I would be all over it.

COLUMBUS MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM

 COLUMBUS, GEORGIA

(HOUR #1)

The show opens with a montage from last week’s major cards in the Omin and the Mid-South Coliseum where the Fab Ones become the #1 contenders to the NWA National titles as Baby Doll and Ernie Ladd used enough trickery to have Lane hit Simmons with brass knucks, the Road Warriors wrestle Devastation Inc to a double countout, Big Bubba Rogers beating Dick Slater with his nightstick which allowed Jim Cornette to whoop up on Slater for 5 minutes and Jerry Lawler finishing off the Honky Tonk Man once and for all in a steel cage as the Memphis fans went wild.

Hello everybody.  Welcome to UWF Wrestling. We are coming to you from Columbus Municipal Auditorium in downtown Columbus, Georgia.  I am Jim Ross and my partner today is once again wrestling legend Jack Brisco.  Well fans, you just saw it.  It was a wild week in the UWF and this promises to be more of the same.

Jack Brisco:  Speaking of wild, this hour we have one heck of a main event as the NWA U.S. Champ is here and he is putting his title on the line against none other then Steve “Dr. Death” Williams.

Jim Ross:  What a match that is going to be and right now we are going to bring out the U.S. Champ.

Ted Dibiase comes out to some real negative treatment from the fans but that only seems to make that smirk grow.

Ted Dibiase:  Well every time I come to the UWF, two things are guaranteed.  I am richer and these fans are uglier.  Last time I was here, I beat JYD like the dog he is and now the NWA has sent me back here to clean up some medical waste…. I believe you call him Dr. Death.

Jack Brisco:  If you are not careful, it will be you who is being used as a human mop in the ring.

Ted Dibiase:  Well it is always great to hear from the geriatrics in Georgia.  And as much as I would like to continue this conversation, I am a business man and I am here for business.  Skandar Akbar please come out here.

As Akbar comes out in full Arabian entire, Jim Ross wants to know what this is about as Akbar hands Dibiase a briefcase.

Ted Dibiase:  As I said, I am a business man and I am in the business of making money!

As Dibiase opens the briefcase full of hundred dollar bills, Jim Ross pushes to get to the bottom of this.

Ted Dibaise:  Well if you must know, I have just sold one of my wrestlers to General Skandar Akbar!

Jim Ross:  And who might that be?

General Skandar Akbar:  Turn your attention to the ring as you are about to find out that it was money well spent and this will mark the beginning of the end to those three stoogies, Dr. Death, Hacksaw Reed and Ron Simmons, who were stupid enough to go to war with Devastation Inc.

King Kong Bundy with Skandar Akbar defeats Verlon Biggs with the Atlantic City Avalanche

The Demon (Brian Adams in a red mask) crushes Lanny McDaniel with the Full Nelson Slam

As Brisco and Ross continue to push this 6’7, 330 pounder, something very interesting happens as the Devil’s Duo (Jeff Sword & Doug Vines) come out and escort the Demon back to the dressing room.  Ross and Brisco’s heads are spinning trying to figure this one out.

Buddy Landell defeats Mike Dwyer with the Figure 4!

Once again, Jack Brisco went over to the ring to coach his pupil who really took care of business here.  At the interview desk, Jack Brisco takes over and reminds us all that he said Landell has real talent and that he hasn’t lost since then.  Brisco starts saying that it is time for the UWF to forget about what happened to Buddy in the past as he just had some bad luck with tag team partners.

Jim Ross:  And which title are you looking to get.

Buddy Landell:  That is easy…. The UWF Southern Title.  I mean Jack has taught me not to gloat until you accomplish something but have you heard Ernie Ladd lately.  He acts like he made Lex Luger.  I mean Lex was champ when Ernie was running his mouth down in Texas.

These comments bring out both Ernie Ladd and Baby Doll.

Ernie Ladd:  Jack, you know we go way back brother.  We had some real rumbles.  You won some and I won some and that is because we were both great at one time.  Lex Luger is great now and you better check this punk before he gets hurt!

Baby Doll:  You got that right Big Cat!  I mean look at this little bleach blonde loser.  I mean he wants a match with Lex.  He couldn’t beat me.  Come on Landell, you and me right now.  If you beat me, you get a title shot.

Buddy Landell:  Sorry, I don’t hit women.

Baby Doll:  Oh come on.  You would love to roll around on the mat with me but you know you would get hurt!

Buddy Landell:  Sorry, I don’t hit women.

SMACK!

Baby Doll hits Landell right across the face but Landell remains stoic and doesn’t strike back.

Baby Doll:  Well Nature Girl, if you want a shot at Lex, you got to go through me.

As Ladd and Baby Doll walk off, Jack reminds Landell that there is a time for the Nature Boy show and it is not against a woman!

COMMERCIAL

Nikita Koloff did stretcher job on Rocky Iaukea with the Russian Sickle

Ole Anderson and Ivan Koloff join Nikita at the interview desk where they are very guarded about where Nikita has been over the last few weeks.  Jim Ross lets everyone know that the rumor was that Nikita was called back to Russia to be punished for losing the NWA title to Kerry VonErich.  Ivan denies this but does say that Russia is better then America because it doesn’t accept losing.  Ivan and Ole are pushing for a UWF title shot against Magnum T.A. as they know that it a stepping stone to regain the World title.

Jack Brisco gets a little daring here as he says that Nikita went AWOL and is going to have to work his way back up the ladder.

Ivan Koloff:  The longer the UWF waits to give Nikita a title shot against Magnum, the more Americans who are going to get hurt.  Did you not see the stretcher in the last match?  Cowboy Bill Watts, you say you love America then stop seeing Americans get hurt!

Jack Brisco:  Well we will see as this week in Birmingham at the Boutwell Auditorium, Nikita will have his hands full with Iceman King Parsons!

Ole Anderson:  And that is why America is no longer the superpower that they used to be.  Russian puts up the Russian Nightmare and America puts up Iceman Parsons!

Atlantis defeats The Gambler with a Top Rope Plancha

This masked man is really endearing himself to the fans as the love his aerial tactics.  The problem is that a few weeks ago, Atlantis embarrassed the Devil’s Duo by taking them both out.  Well know he is attacked from behind by the massive Demon.  Atlantis suffers a Full Nelson Slam by the monster and then Sword and Vines go to work.  Fellow youngsters Sean Royal and Scott Doring come out to make the save but the damage has already been done!  Brisco and Ross know understand why the Devil’s Duo came out and talked to the Demon after his match.

COMMERCIAL

NWA U.S. Title Match:  Ted Dibiase vs Steve “Dr. Death” Williams

We get about 8 minutes of a great match here with a few momentum changes.  Dr. Death started hot using his power and Dibiase got the turn in the momentum using some questionable tactics and then he went to work on Dr. Death’s legs.  When Dr. Death refused to submit to the Figure 4, Dibiase became frustrated and appeared to load up that black glove of his.  As he threw the big punch, Dr. Death ducked under it and hit the ropes and came off with a big football tackle. Just as it looked like we might have a new champ, KKB rushed out and hit Dr. Death with a leg drop.

The ref called for the bell as Jim Ross and Jack Brisco are fuming.  KKB gets only about 1 minute to work over Dr. Death as JYD hits the ring.  JYD and Bundy are slugging it out in the middle of the ring.  Skandar Akbar sends out the rest Haku and the Barbarian but they are met at the ring by Doom and we have a brawl with amazing star power!  Dibiase vs Dr. Death, KKB vs JYD and Devastation Inc. vs Doom all at one time.  The only was this ends is a forced commercial break as we end the first hour.

After that blockbuster deal, it's no wonder why Dibiase has so much money. King Kong Bundy adds even more destruction to Devastation Inc. I like this little program going with Devils Duo, Demon, Atlantis, Royal and Doring. Gives these guys a chance to shine. Landell needs to watch the numbers game messing with Luger. Brisco can keep Ladd away but there's still that sneaky Baby Doll. Nikita comes back with a vengeance! Ice Man better be careful. Wild main event! Dr. Death comes close but Akbar sends his men in. That really was a star studded brawl.

On your earlier convo, I agree that by 86 JYD had let himself go too much to be considered a sustainable push guy.  And I think a lot of the problems that arose with Luger came in the 88-90 time period when he was constantly jobbing to Flair and eventually got the stink of failure on him.  Up to that point he was a guy who people saw as the future of the NWA.  I don't know if anybody ever saw Kendall Windham as a huge star, but yes Ole was almost done in 86.  My recollection is he had been gone some time and only came back in 90 as a favor, not because he wanted to.

Whoa, KKB in Mid-South??  Awesome Teddy promo BTW.  He has become his own variation of the Flair character and I love it.  Devil's Duo and the Demon.  I get it.  Flexy Lexy and Landell feuding has a lot of promise. Love the return of Nikita!  Bring on Magnum vs. Nikita.  Atlantis/Royal/Doring vs. The Devil's Trio and it's iterations could be interesting.  Not sure how Atlantis would work with Adams though LOL.  Huge brawl to end hour 1.  Perfect way to use DiBiase on your show.

I'd like to see the Dog back in the WWF, I liked him as a fun babyface there... but him getting involved in the war against Akbar's legion is pretty exciting, too.

Speaking of which: Bundy, Konga, and Haku give Akbar a pretty terrifying trio to work with. Doc and Doom vs those three could be a great match. I wonder if Bundy is going to get involved with the Road Warriors feud, too.

The Fabs, Doom, the Road Warriors, and Devastation Inc make for a heck of a tag team division, with a ton of potentially exciting match-ups.

AGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY CIVIC CENTER:  AUGUSTA, GEORGIA

 (HOUR #2)

Before our first match of this hour, we see a video from last weeks event in Nashville where the Rock n Roll Express and Buddy Landell had a 20 minute draw with the Fab Ones and Lex luger.  The video ended with Baby Doll once again smacking Budd y Landell but he did not react.

Match:  The Fab Ones with Ernie Ladd & Baby Doll beat Larry Lathem & Barry Bath

At the interview desk, Ladd, Baby Doll and the Fab Ones take turns reminding everyone that two weeks ago they defeated Doom and became the #1 contenders to the NWA National tag belts and that the Rock n Roll Express are just hiding because they know they can’t defeat the Fab Ones.  When asked about the smack of Buddy Landell, Baby Doll again stresses that if Landell wants a shot at Luger but he can’t even beat her!

This brings out the Rock n Roll Express who are fuming about being labeled as champions that would run away from a challenge.  As this appears to get heated, Cowboy Bill Watts comes out and reminds everyone that he is the matchmaker around here.  He goes on to hype up the joint UWF-MACW event in Nashville labeled Music City Mayhem coming up in a few weeks.  He lets everyone know that in the coming weeks, he will be announcing the title matches and the UWF participants in the singles and tag team tournaments to crown the 2nd Music Coty Bowl winners.  The last thing he says it that the first match he is going to announce is the NWA National tag match between the Fab Ones and the Rock n Roll Express.

COMMERCIAL

Magnum T.A. crushes The Cuban Assassin with multiple belly to belly suplexes

Magnum is in no mood for talking in the post-match interview as he simply says “Nikita Koloff … any time… any place” and he keeps on going to the locker room.  Both Ross and Brisco say they have never seen Magnum this made and both agree that the reason the Cuban Assassin received more than one belly to belly suplexes was a response to Nikita’s multiple Russian Sickles in Mike Hendricks in the first hour of the show.

Brad Armstrong & Jeff Jarrett defeat two jobbers

This was just a last second tune up for their UWF tag title match this week in Memphis and both do a nice job on the mic convincing the fans that they are going to get their belts back.  One thing that is for sure is that the young JJ is good on the mic!

COMMERCIAL

Grizzly Boone defeats Black Bart with Ron Wright as he hit the Giant Splash

This upset victory just continued to build the story here that Wright made a mistake when he fired Boone.  With Bart on the ground, Ron Bass tried to rush the ring to get revenge for his fellow Long Rider but he suffered the same fate.  With the Long Riders both struggling to get to their feet, Boone turned to make eye contact with Wright.  It looked like Wright had seen a ghost as he turned pale white and high-tailed it back to the locker room.

COMMERCIAL

Buddy Landell with Coach Brisco defeats Action Jackson with the Figure 4

At the interview desk, Jim Ross lets Landell reminds everyone that Landell is on a major roll but wants to get Landell’s take on Baby Doll smacking him twice in the last week.

Buddy Landell:  Baby Doll is running scared right now.  She sees how much Coach Brisco has helped me and she is willing to do anything to save Luger’s title.

Jim Ross:  But still, she seems to be trying to embarrass you

Jack Brisco:  I will take that one… there are a lot of things in this business that are done to do just that.  Baby Doll is trying to embarrass Buddy but it won’t work.  The embarrassment for the Perfect Alliancce is going to come when we take that title.  Buddy is a great student and he knows that I will tell him when the time to react to a situation is and right now, it is not the time.

Baby Doll comes out and gets right in the face of Buddy Landell.

Baby Doll:  I am not trying to embarrass you.  You have already done that to yourself.  I am just trying to prove that you do not deserve a title shot as you couldn’t even beat me never mind the Total Package Lex Luger.  Get in the ring with me and that we will see you being embarrassed even more.

Buddy Landell:  Wow… it must be frustrating to you to hear a man say no!

Smack!  Baby Doll once again smacks Landell.

Buddy Landell:  I think Lex must not be living up to his hype as the Total package.  You just seem to be itching to roll around with me.

Smack!  Another open hand by Baby Doll

Jack Brisco:  Hey Buddy, remember when I said I would tell you when the time to react was.  Well… Time!

Buddy Landell simple walks over to Baby Doll and picks her up and puts her over his knee.  The screen fades to black as the show ends just as it appears that Landell’s right hand is coming down across her bottom!

Cant wait for RnR vs. The Fab Ones. Magnum/Nikita is ready to explode! Armstrong and Jarrett continue to impress as a team. Boone is a man on a mission and I don't think he's going to stop until he puts Wright down for good. Fantastic ending as Landell finally gets some payback on Baby Doll. With that and the coaching by Brisco, Landell has a good shot at taking Luger's title. Looking forward to Music City Mayhem. Mid Atlantic will get a chance to showcase it's product this Sunday in Nashville.

Your tag division is absolutely loaded. You can put any team in contention for any titles and it gets the job done. Tag team wrestling truly is the staple of your territory and I'm looking forward to what the future will bring in that aspect. As for the final segment, I just love the turnaround in Buddy Landell's character. It's also great to see Baby Doll unable to get under Buddy's skin and it seems like Jack Brisco's influence is paying off already. I think Buddy is more than ready to beat Lex Luger now!

Yes!  Fabs vs. RnRs!  Big statement from Magnum.  So looking forward to both of those matches.  JJ and Brad are such an awesome midcard young guy team for the mid-south.  Boone is on a freaking tear and I can't wait to see how Wright counters.  The old "that ain't no lady" Southern angle.  I like that you cut out the tasteless part for TV.  I know there will be those that don't like it.  Let them.
