Today's the 7/16/1988 Bash card from Greensboro. ~2 hours of it.

Bugsy McGraw & Tim Horner vs. Rip Morgan & Larry Zbyzsko
The Italian Stallion vs. Ronnie Garvin.
Dick Murdoch vs. Gary Royal.
Rick Steiner vs. Jimmy Garvin.
The Sheepherders vs. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express.
Al Perez (w/ Gary Hart) vs. Brad Armstrong.
2 vs. 3 Handicap: Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers vs. Jim Cornette, NWA US Tag Team Champions Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane.
Scaffold Match: The Road Warriors vs. Ivan Koloff & the Russian Assassin.
Sting vs. NWA TV Champion Mike Rotunda (w/ Kevin Sullivan & Rick Steiner).
War Games: Lex Luger, Steve Williams, Nikita Koloff, Dusty Rhodes, & Paul Ellering vs. NWA World Champion Ric Flair, NWA US Champion Barry Windham, JJ Dillon, NWA Tag Team Champions Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard.

If I'm not mistaken, we definitely have Sting vs Rotunda and the War Games match.

Are the rest new though? A new Sheepherders vs RnR match and that Fantastics vs MX/Cornette match both look well worth seeing.

Glad to finally see a Sheepherders vs Rock n Roll Express match.  The RnRs left before the teams were to meet at the Bunkhouse Stampede in January, then they returned but Robert quit about a week after this in the middle of the Great American Bash tour so Brad Armstrong filled in with Morton.

We had the Duggan/Sawyer match, but not the upscaled and retouched version *without* postdated JR commentary, so I consider that a win.

Such a great match. Still stands up HUGE and deserving to be #4 in the DVDR Mid South project.

That was actually from a GAB show in LA, if I'm remembering correctly.

If it’s not on that comp I watched it from here.

The same bunkhouse match took place in Charlotte on July 2, 1988 and aired on WCW Main Event on 9/4/88.    Rock & Rolls vs Sheepherders also

JCP @ Charlotte, NC - Memorial Stadium - July 2, 1988 (about 10,000)
Included a performance by David Allen Coe
The Main Event - 8/14/88: Brad Armstrong, Tim Horner, (sub. for Ron Simmons & Jimmy Valiant) & Bugsy McGraw defeated Tiger Conway Jr., Chris Champion, & Cruel Connection #1 (Gary Royal) at 7:49 when Horner pinned Conway following a double elbow to the face by Horner & Armstrong
The Main Event - 8/14/88: NWA Western States Heritage Champion Larry Zbyzsko pinned Kendall Windham at 5:32 when the momentum of a crossbody by Windham put Zbyzsko on top
Al Perez pinned Mighty Wilbur at the 4-minute mark
Ron Garvin pinned Rick Steiner in a taped fist match after Kevin Sullivan's interference backfired and Garvin knocked out Steiner with Sullivan's foreign object
The Main Event - 8/21/88: Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson defeated the Sheepherders (w/ Rip Morgan) at 13:10 when Morton pinned Luke Williams with a crossbody off the top
The Main Event - 8/28/88: Jimmy Garvin pinned Kevin Sullivan in a blindfold match
The Main Event - 9/4/88: NWA US Tag Team Champions Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers defeated Jim Cornette, Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane in a handicap bunkhouse match
The Main Event - 9/18/88: Steve Williams defeated NWA TV Champion Mike Rotunda via disqualification; Williams originally won the match and title following the Oklahoma Stampede but the decision was changed because Rotunda knocked down the referee moments earlier
The Road Warriors defeated Ivan Koloff & the Russian Assassin in a scaffold match in under 5 minutes
Dusty Rhodes, Lex Luger, Sting, Nikita Koloff, & Paul Ellering defeated NWA World Champion Ric Flair, NWA US Champion Barry Windham, JJ Dillon, NWA Tag Team Champions Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard in Wargames when Dillon submitted to Luger's Torture Rack

My head hurts thinking of the engineering logistics of running a Wargames match and a scaffold match on the same card.

Oh thank god it wasn't just me then. I've watched the first match and the wargames cage is above the scaffold for the scaffold match and the order shows the two matches back to back. I wondered how it would work.

Isn't there some weird bug where a large part of their archive is one day off? Like enough that there must have been a consistent error when they were digitising and tagging stuff.

A heavy chunk of the Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling (mid '84 to the end) that they've got up is also incorrectly dated, that's a week out.
