IIRC, one of the WWF shows at the time had been cancelled and Sky had a deal for a certain number of hours programming each week, so they did Classics to make up the time. (It's possible it was to replace Heat, which moved to another broadcaster for two years in the UK.)

I'm positive it was Challenge they showed as opposed to SoW.

I remember people being jealous that the UK releases didn't get subject to the blur-mania we got in the States when they had to change logos.

Only thing was that if, say, Demolition hit someone with Mr. Fuji's cane, they would splice in a 2004 crowd shot of some dude with pierced ears, which was really incongruous.
