While the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match took place under the regular format, for the first time ever, the Men's Money in the Bank took place under tournament rules, with the finals being the traditional Ladder Match. Alexa Bliss teased cashing her briefcase against Smackdown Women's Champion later in the show but Asuka & Liv Morgan thwarted Alexa's plans, which lead to an impromptu non-title Fatal 4-Way. Meanwhile, Kane captured the 24/7 Championship winning a Fatal 4-Way of his own against R-Truth, Ricochet & Titus O'Neil
