    Episode 40 - "Tempers Flared and Egos Were Bruised This is a fun show this week. Every show is fun but I had fun recording it. I have fun recording every episode but you catch my drift.     Wranting Wrestling Episode 11 with Raza Aslam Hey welcome back for another episode of Wranting Wrestling. I spoke to my friend Raza who many of you have heard before on the podcast reviewing PPVS with Alec and myself. Well he's back bay-bay and he's wranting wrestling. This was a fun talk, they are all fun talks but this one featured a lot of early 90's WWF and WCW talk. This was a lot of fun for me as early '90s wrestling was before my time so I had a blast hearing about it from someone who watched it in real time. The pre-Hogan WCW talk especially was a lot of fun. We also discuss the Attitude Era, Austin vs Vince, Shane McMahon Matches, Muhammad Hassan (after I made an ass of myself), Miz as World Champion, Jinder Mahal as World Champion and Wrestlemania 33 just to name a few.     Episode 39 - "Wrestlemania Season has Officially Begun" After last week being more about movies and less about wrestling I promised a wrestling heavy week. And this week has a lot of wrestling. First I discuss the upcoming Kenny Omega vs Cody match that is happening at Supercard of Honor during Wrestlemania Weekend. Then I recap two Smackdowns (1/23 and 1/30) and a Raw (1/29).     Episode 34 - "The 2017 Webby Awards" It's the last episode of 2017. And I'm going out with a blast baby! After I first recap the Christmas Raw. I had a busy week with family in town, it being the holidays and going to a TrailBlazer game. I didn't get to SmackDown or New Japan this week but don't worry next week is gonna have a ton of both. The main course of tonight's entree is the first annual Webby Awards. It's a year end recap of the best and the worst of 2017. This week I discuss the WWEs recent Middle Eastern Tour including the history making Alexa Bliss vs Sasha Banks which is the first women's match in Abu Dhabi and Triple H vs Jinder Mahal in india. I then speak on the AXS TV 3 hour Wrestle Kingdom 12 special that will air on 1/6/18 and that turns into me talking about Wrestle Kingdom and how I think should go over and just New Japan talk in general. I then recap Raw 12/4 and SmackDown 12/5. This clocks in at 51 minutes but its a good episode. Length has nothing to do with the quality of the show. This week I speak on the RAW 25th Anniversary that's coming from both the Barclays and The Manhattan Center in January. I then speak on the releases of Emma, Summer Rae and Darren Young from the WWE on sunday October 29th. In a new segment I give brief recaps of this week's Raw and SmackDown on 10/30 and 10/31.     Episode 25 - "Chilian Mumps" https://soundcloud.com/websweeklywrestlingwrant/episode-25-chilian-mumps Hello scumbags, and welcome to the longest episode of 4W EVA!!!! It's a milestone episode it's the 25th. Well 26th technically with epiosde 0 and actually 27th cuz episode 15 was in two parts, but officially it's 25. This is a jammed back podcast this week. Tons of fun. The Show starts off with a 5 minute cold opening, addressing the 25th episode and some of my favorite moments of the pod so far. Alec joins me for the intro and we discuss the Smackdown beatdown on the Raw roster at the end of Raw, and Raw vs Smackdown at Survivor Series. Then Alec talks about WWE investing into the eSports team Cloud9. I then go on to review the 10/15 and 10/22 episodes of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood (you can watch for free every sunday at 4pm on fite.tv) I highly suggest going out and seeking Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. Really good television wrestling. I then go on to review the 10/25 NXT. And the show of course ends by Alec, Raza and I reviewing TLC. Not giving anything but TLC was a pretty solid show. I highly recommend checking out AJ Styles vs Finn Balor. Of course Alec, Raza and I go off on side tangents (a big highlight includes explaining to Alec that Jay Leno once wrestled in a match).     I don't hate Cody's ROH reign as much as others do but I really want to see Dalton Castle get a run as ROH World Champion. Dalton is over and a true ROH homegrown act, I don't wanna get snotty but Bullet Club will eventually run it's course and ROH will find themselves without anyone with drawing power if they don't start elevating those who aren't BC or wrestling for New Japan. If Dalton had a longish run that would be great but I'd even take a two month run from Final Battle to the Anniversary Show. As long as at the TV Tapings in between Dalton defends the Championship against Silas Young and Colt Cabana playing off old feuds between the two. Pull the trigger see what happens, you can always put the strap back on Cody at the Anniversary Show, if it's a total flop but I don't think it will be. This is all based on what I saw during Omega-Okada 2 and the G-1 Special and I have no idea what is going on between Cody and Omega in New Japan right now. But if they are still teasing Cody vs Omega and with Naito challenging Okada for the World Title, I'd run Omega vs Cody for the US title at WrestleKingdom. I'd have Cody go over. I think it'd make more sense Cody could defend the Championship more stateside in ROH. It opens Omega up to Challenge for Tanahashi's IC Championship possibly at SuperCard of Honor. Cody as IWGP US Champion keeps him with something to do in ROH while also letting Dalton run as ROH World Champion. Although one could argue that Cody as US Champion might overshadow Dalton as ROH World Champion. There's alot of ways to go for SuperCard of Honor. I think the best way to go and probably the best draw is having Austin Aries show at the Florida TV tapings, start having Aries start ascending the ranks and then at SuperCard of Honor Aries challenges Dalton for the World Title. So at Supercard of Honor you run Dalton vs Aries for the ROH World Title as the Main Event with Dalton going over and in the Semi Main you Omega vs Tanahashi for the IWGP IC Championship with Omega going over. And You have Cody defend the US Championship up the card as well. I think that draws pretty well. Another way to go, which I wouldn't, is have Dalton vs Omega at Supercard with Omega going over and being ROH World Champion playing the Lesnar role only showing up for the PPVs and Supercards defending the championship for the remainder of the year as ROH builds a star to take the belt of Omega t the following years Supercard of Honor to finally dethrone Omega. And with Cody as IWGP US Champion Cody can main event PPV's and other shows defending his championship on the shows Omega isn't on making it the de facto main championship of ROH.
