I agree with him on the distinction of a program like Austin vs. Taker which felt like a big match built really well to something like Warrior vs. Hogan which was essentially a clash of the titans "dream" match. I disagree that Vader couldn't have been an asset in 1998 for WWF. He still had real good runs in All Japan and even Noah in the next few years (a lot lesser dates on the schedule I know). I think it was more of his attitude that led to his demise instead of his lack of ability. I think you can see a lot of confidence in the product in late 1998-early 1999 compared to the disarray going on at WCW at the time.
