BigBadMick
Great, been looking forward to this. Best 'Mania ever, I think.
BigBadMick
Great review. I love the 5 big main events in a row feel to this, that's what puts it over WM 17 for me. Thought you were a bit harder on HHH/Booker than me. It's certainly the worst of those 5 matches, but Booker does a good job keeping it moving, and gives HHH one of his best matches of 2003 (faint praise, I know). Bigelow34
Yeah I mean, it isn't a bad match... it's more that the feud was a trainwreck and the payoff didn't fit the build. Glad you enjoyed... I love Wm19.
The Chief
I'm curious as to what Scott means when he says the fans weren't ready for an NWA style match in HHH/Booker. I don't think there was anything NWA about it. Like so many HHH performances, it was just the wrong match for the storyline and while competently worked, it was completely tone def. And HHH as the touring NWA champ Race/Flair hybrid is just one of those things that WWE has repeated so many times it's just accepted as fact by some fans. There's really nothing about Hunter's work that puts him in that category other than the fact that he's a heel champ and he does a knee.
