KrisZ
Kris is joined by Beau James (King of Kingsport) to discuss May 1988 – April 1989 in the history of Continental Wrestling as well as USA Wrestling. We discuss the differences of the promotion’s booking and which one we liked best. We also talked about all of the personalities that came through at the time such as Willie B. Hert, Ron Wright and his Nazi flag, Missy Hyatt and why she had to turn babyface, and lots more. Plus we discuss the life and death of the Continental Cat. This is a great show!! goc
Another great episode here. Glad to know I was right about Shaun Baxter & Dave Baxter being the same person and that they made the very dubious decision to have him win a squash match as a heel on the same episode they showed a video of him from Memphis getting squashed by Fuller & Golden. Interesting note about Ricky Morton & Todd Morton as a team is that on their first episode of TV teaming together they come out to 'Cult of Personality' which really caught me off guard when I was watching last night. mrwaukegan
Is their any insight into how the payoffs in USA/Continental were compared to Memphis?
