IWA Mid-South and Combat Zone Wrestling took it upon themselves to cater to that very niche audience and give them what they want. While Corporal Robinson is somewhat a less familiar but recognizable name for that niche, it is no secret that Necro Butcher has risen to the level of a folklore hero amongst that fandom, which even transcended the indy wrestling scene in general as Necro Butcher even made a few appearances with Ring of Honor at some point.
