thebrainfollower2
It's the 44th episode of Wrestling with a Generation Gap as we go to the 1990's to cover one of the last great regional territories, Smoky Mountain Wrestling. Dave, Nick and Rob take a look at SMW's most famous card, the Night of the Legends. Along the way we cover the rise and fall of this legendary promotion and one historic night in Knoxville as well as provide detailed bios for The Mongolian Stomper, The Doctor of Desire Tom Pritchard and the legend himself Ricky Gibson. Along the way we discuss Chris Candido's career moves (always bad or not), a legends match between legends only recently retired that's really good, the sad decline of Terry Gordy, Chris Jericho nearly kill himself (note - the bleeding is explained on Jericho's podcast) and sadly we don't like the stip or the finish of the main event. Comments and feedback always welcome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PickrmpwC10&t=937s
