Control21 Posted May 29 Report Posted May 29 Damn, this one stings. Hashimikov was a pioneer who helped bridge the divide between the Soviet Union and the rest of the world in the realm of pro wrestling. He was very skilled in the ring as well, and always seemed to have at least a decent match with anyone. Inoki had a lot of great ideas, and a lot of bad ones, and his decision to bring in the Soviets to NJPW was one of his great ideas. RIP.
