  1. I was going to compare Justin Credible to Piz, but I liked Piz.... There's potential there, though. I didn't want to see Credible be ECW champion much like I didn't want to see Piz date Veronica... Question is, who does this make Parker?
  2. I'm somewhat tempted to try and compare VM Season 3 to the final run of WWECW on SyFy, where it was a totally different animal, but still well worth watching. But, even though I like Season 3 more than a lot of people do, I don't think it compares to Christian as ECW champion. Other choice, I guess, would be to equate it to the dying days of the original ECW, which kind of works. Credible as champion never quite clicked, much like the shorter arcs and new characters, but there was still a lot to like, even if some of it was just because it was ECW, and ECW was great, and in the same way, even with the changes and somewhat weaker plots, the characters of Veronica, Keith, and Logan were still great, and made it worth watching, at least to me. This is a very odd discussion Matt summoned me to.
  3. Triple H and Shawn do come across like idiots, too. It's No Holds Barred. Just double team the monster. Of course, Shawn also managed to make me laugh my ass off by being useless when he did finally try to get involved. At least he can take out Heyman.
  4. Speaking strictly for myself, it was the Taker match that killed me. I like Triple H, I like Brock, I was looking forward to the match, but when it started, I had nothing left. I'm fairly certain the same was true for the people I was with. Granted, if the match had started out hotter, it might have been different. Hard to say. Eventually, I need to watch the show and see how everything looked on tv. FWIW, I got the same idea as Matt on the GTS - Rope bounce - Tombstone spot. I thought the idea was Taker landed before Punk got the knee up, and shoved off to get the rope bounce.
  5. Yeah. I think if I ever go again, I need to get RAW tickets to. Not sure we're quite crazy enough to drive all the way to N'Awlins next year though.
  6. In the upper deck, behind the entrance stage, it was cold as fuck, fwiw. In truth, in my section, I think Undertaker's giant fucking pyro got the loudest cheers, because it warmed us up. Whoever said someone on twitter said that Triple H/Lesnar got good reactions in the building was lied to. It was the only match on the show you could have a regular conversation with people around you during. Going on after Taker is just flat out death. Rock/Cena had the crowd majorly into at first, but after a few minutes of "3 moves and lay around" the crowd was dead until the finish. Overall, I had a fucking great time there, but I don't know how much I'd have liked it on tv.
