Actually, I wanted you to pick Canadians. I’ll draft a rare non-Texan, Tony Atlas. -

Don't worry, TK, you've picked like four guys I was interested in; none were at the top of my list or anything, so it's all good. -

Oh, yeah, again with the back to back. The second half at least. Texas selects Chavo Guerrero. -

Yeah, that's what I mean. Gino (or Tully, whichever) would take up the #7 pick and the other would mean I'm skipped for #8. That's the same way you took Hayes and Gordy for #5 and #6. Am I not allowed to do that since I have two picks next to each other? That creates a bit of a disadvantage. -

So I was trying to do Roberts as my #6, then do the Tully & Gino tag team starting at #7 the same way the Jayhawks and Freebirds were done for round five I think it was. Does that make sense? So that would take up my #8. -

I know, but it's really, really different. We're almost at the point where I'm going to start doing some odd stuff, but man, I've got some room to make up. -

Stampede continues not drafting Canadians. Wilbur Snyder's been to Canada at least, I guess. Who knows what Stampede is doing!!! -

Okay, so we're back to me then with the rush on tag teams. For #6, I will select Jake Roberts. Then to start round #7, I will select the tag team of the Dynamic Duo, Tully Blanchard and Gino Hernandez. So I'd be skipped for #8. -

Dallas selects Kerry von Erich (I guess I had to pick one eventually) and Adrian Adonis. -

I'm going to try and make something that FEELS like Texas right before WCCW starts, but may not have the exact same guys. -

Being a smaller group here and plenty of names to go around, I will definitely be picking some guys much earlier than one might rate them strictly on talent. -

Okay, so Dallas needs a monster heel, and that man will be the native Texan, Stan Hansen! -

If others want to use women as an attraction, great, but I don't think we'll be booking them in Dallas. -

I just checked cagematch and a couple other sites and I guess it was April 1982 WCCW started. Before that it was Big Time Wrestling and the local TV was Championship Wrestling taped in Forth Worth. -

I've pulled out my ancient copy of the Wrestling Observer Who's Who in Pro Wrestling for this, and at this point in time, the World Junior Title was basically something Les Thornton carried around and occasionally lost while working wherever. He was big enough they actually made him work non-title matches in NJPW. Eventually, I assume he sold it, because Tiger Mask won the belt and it never came back to the U.S. in the 80s. In fact, the NWA stopped recognizing it after Tiger Mask defended it in MSG. I have no idea what the weight limit was supposed to be though. I guess I might as well switch to Dallas (I don't think it's WCCW yet?) if we're doing 1981, since that's a territory that actually existed for more than two months. I leave it up to Dr. Dunk, as this is his thing. -

I like snake drafts, and I really like the allowing of picking teams together. Two questions I thought of related to 1981: 1. Should we have the Junior Heavyweight Champion? As of right now, that would be Les Thornton. It ends up going to Japan in '82 to never return. 2. Since we're doing 1981 now, for the sake of realism, should I do Fritz's Texas proper instead of Amarillo, which is almost dead at this point. I can if it is preferred for realism. I know the loop for both. Thanks! -
