Whatever is decided is fine but I am will be using roster spots as jobbers anyway. 36 total for me will work out just fine but that is my opinion.
-
Not a problem at all. Crap happens and just wanted to make sure not to book him
-
I just wanted to check something out. I thought Alexis Smirnoff was left unprotected from BTW? Either way BTW can have him and I will just open up another roster spot.
-
I just dropped 5 and added 1. Might drop 1 or 2 more.

Thank you for the replies. Sorry been busy with work and my boys birthdays this weekend and haven't been able to follow up much. Kevin, Ox Baker is a guilty pleasure of mine. He is not the greatest worker but is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. One of the only wrestlers I ever met but worth the 45 minutes of time spent talking wrestling.

Stampede Wrestling Live from the Victoria Pavilion Calgary Alberta Hosted by Ed Whalen Ed Whalen- Welcome fans to the Victoria Pavilion! Stampede wrestling is rebooting and we are looking forward to a great end of 1983 and a great start of 1984. We will have Stu Hart inside this ring for an update on our upcoming schedule and roster. Before we talk to Stu we will have our first match of the night. Jake Roberts will be taking on Nick DeCarlo. Jake Roberts vs. Nick DeCarlo Jake slides into the ring and gets into Nicks face. Jake is just smiling and the smile turns into laughter. Nick is looking at him and has a confused look and then Jake just slapps Nick across the face. Nick hits Jake with left and a right then whips him ino the corner. Nick charges but is met with a boot to the face. Jake wags his finger back and forth. Jake goes to whip Nick but connects with a short clothesline sending Nick to the canvas. Jake then drops an elbow and covers Nick. Jake pulls him up after a 2 count. Jake has Nick in a headlock and Nick whips him into the ropes. Jake comes off and Nick drops his head. Jake grabs Nick around the head and drops Nick to the canvas with a DDT. Jake covers...1...2...3! WINNER: Jake Roberts Ed Whalen- Jake Robert, A huge win in your debuet with Stampede. Jake Roberts- Ed, this was just a warm up, a sweat breaker, or whatever you want to call it. There are many reasons I am here but first and foremost is Bret Hart. Bret! you have been babied! You have been coddled! Your daddy has set you up for failure! Ed Whalen- Jake, Bret is one of the best wrestlers in Stampede! Jake Roberts- The greatest in Stampede? Think about it Ed. Do you want to be the greatest in Stampede or the greatest in the world? Stu has had a pacifier in his mouth since Bret was born. Stu has... (Out from the back comes Stu Hart) Ed Whalen- Stu, welcome... Stu Hart- Thank you, Ed, but back off for a moment. Jake, you come out here and disrespect me and my family. I will not stand for this! Jake Roberts- Stu calm down. I know you just said you will not stand for it and you are right. (Jake kicks Stu in the gut and hits a huge kneelift and Stu falls to the mat. Jake grabs Stu and has him set up for the DDT. Bruce and Keith Hart run into the ring and Jake slides out.) Dino Bravo vs. Goldie Rogers Bravo dominates most of the match until Rogers rakes Dino's eyes. Rogers gets a few good kicks and punches in and goes for the victory after a suplex. Dino kicks out with authority. Goldie charges but Bravo scoops him up into an airplain spin. Bravo drops Goldie to the mat and follows it up with a leaping elbow drop for the pin...1...2...3! WINNER: Dino Bravo Ed Whalen- Folks, we just got word that Stu Hart is doing good and is just a little groggy. He said he will be back out here tonight. Lets get to our next matchup. Iron Shiek/Nikolai Volkoff vs. Scott McGee/ David Sammartino Sheik and Volkoff double team David throughout the begining of this bout. David is able to hit a dropkick sending Sheik into Volkoff which gives him time to tag in Scott. Scott takes on both and has the upper hand on Sheik when from the back comes Paul Ellering. Elllering distracts the ref and Volkoff slams the Iranian flag stick over the head of Scott. Sheik then hits a belly to back suplex on Scott and slaps on the camel clutch. Scott has no choice to submit. WINNER: Iron Sheik/Nikolai Volkoff Ed Whalen- Paul Ellering, what in the world is going on? Paul Ellering- Ed! I know you have a simple mind but these two wrestlers are championship material. Why is it such a shock that I would surround myself with champions? Ed Whalen- Paul, the evilness that these two have… Iron Sheik- Russia #1 Iran #1 Paul Ellering #1! Canada and USA (Spits) Paul Ellering- When you have champions there are no regrets and soon there will be no regrets. Ox Baker vs. Steve Regal Regal uses his quickness and gets in a few shots to Ox. Baker is not happy as he can't seem to get a hold of Regal. Regal is working on the legs of Ox and makes a huge mistake when Ox goes down to one knee. Regal wraps on a headlock and Ox just picks up Regal and drops him to the mat. Ox reaches down and starts to choke Regal. Ox breaks the choke and stomps on Regal’s chest. Regal is brought to his feet and then lifted up by his throat. Ox drops Regal to the mat. As Ox goes to grab Regal he is hit with a boot to his face. Regal is to his feet and he hits a dropkick and then another. Regal whips Ox into the corner...no, Ox reverses it and send Regal in. Regal stumbles out and Ox raises Regal's arm in the air...HEART PUNCH! Ox covers...1...2...3! WINNER: Ox Baker Ed Whalen- Folks, please welcome out Stu and Bret Hart! Bret Hart- I would like to interrupt you, Ed. Jake Roberts! You knew I wasn’t here in the Victoria Pavilion when you attacked my father. You knew I wasn’t here to defend myself. Now my brother Bruce already requested a match against you next week and my father signed it. The bad thing for you is I will be there at the Saddledome to watch his back. I hope you are ready for a fight. Stu Hart- Jake, I would love to suspend you for putting your hands on me but my kids do not want that to happen. My kids want to take care of this in the ring and I will let them. Like Bret said, next week you and Bruce will be in the main event at the Saddledome. I also want to announce that the British Bulldogs will be taking on Los Medicos. Ed Whalen- Thank you Stu and Bret. We will be back with our Main Event, David Shultz vs. Ben Bassarab. David Shultz vs. David Bassarab Shultz comes in a little cocky and Bassarab takes advantage with some dropkicks and a few armdrags. Shultz is on his heels after dropkick but a second dropkick is missed and Shultz immediately drops an elbow on the prone Bassarab. Shultz controls the next few moments with kicks, punches, and finally rams Bassarab’s head into the turnbuckle. Bassarab is dazed but connects with a cop to the chest of Shultz but there is not much behind it. Bassarab goes for another chop but it doesn’t faze Shultz at all. Shultz rakes the eyes and grabs Bassarab’s head and bulldogs Bassarab to the mat. Shultz cover, 1…2…3! WINNER: David Shultz Ed Whalen- A great show and we will see you next week at the Saddledome. Have a great night!

1. Stampede: full time member 2. Being a newbie I am on board with Ric Flair as World Heavyweight Champion but am open for a short reign as I did not see the build up. 3. 10 dates for the home promotion is fine, and I like the maximum 7 days for a territory. 4. Starrcade as the date of the title switch is fine with me and I can have a match from Stampede.

I am just asking if when it is my turn if someone can update the thread. I am at work and I can't always follow as closely as I want to. I would appreciate it

I am actually looking forward to the Von Erichs in Florida. I can see a feud with the Briscos also.

Me being the one off here because I would use the rookie draft to bolster my roster and as everyone saw I have 2 guys I would draft. I do see what the others are saying. This will be my first time with a roster of 36 and I might struggle a little bit at first. Once I have my full roster in place and figure out what to do with everyone it should be good. A one thing new to me is Japan shows. I have never considered this in other leagues and as frustrating as it is to me I kind of like the feel of it. We are actually following a sense of 1983/84 and other leagues were just fantasy and the only resemblance to the year we were in were the rookies. I myself have no problem with waiting to mid year for the draft because most rookies will not be getting a major push so if they started in January and we did not draft until July then maybe that wrestler decided to be on the independents or over seas somewhere. We can make the storyline. I leave this up to everyone else and I will work this however it needs to be done. One other thing that came to mind last night. I am seeing the advantage of the bigger roster can help with Japan tours but the idea of injury angles can happen and you still have the back up of wrestlers. Also this is the first league that has such an open policy of wrestlers on loan, which is awesome. Sorry as I ranted a little but getting excited to start the new year with a bang!

I am ok either way. Just like Regal. Would have been fun starting them so young and building them up.
