KAMIKAZE (YAMATO {W}, Shingo Takagi, Cyber Kong, Taku Iwasa) (16:22 Galleria)WARRIORS (CIMA, Ryo Saito, Gamma {L}, Ricochet) 5. King of Gate Block A - Round 1: Magnitude Kishiwada [Zetsurians] (15:41 Elevated Powerbomb) KAGETORA [KAMIKAZE] *Magnitude Kishiwada advances to the next round. 6. King of Gate Block A - Round 1: Yasushi Kanda [Deep Drunkers] (19:09 Ryu's) Susumu Yokosuka [WORLD-1] *Yasushi Kanda advances to the next round. --- The show started off with all of Deep Drunkers coming out to talk, Yasushi Kanda was the one to speak about why they came together, explained their love for alcohol and said that they were sick and tired of being seen as a push over, people that are in the midcard that are never meant to make it to the next level. And that is what Deep Drunkers came together for. To show the world that they are Main Event material. Yasushi Kanda promised it won't take long for them to have gold in their possession. Yasushi Kanda, Kenichiro Arai and Takuya Sugawara are all in the King of Gate Tournament, he made it clear he doesn't care who wins this but he promises a Deep Drunker member will win it. They cared for nothing more than chaos and alcohol and they will show that combination doesn't mix well. Masaaki Mochizuki, Tigers Mask and Anthony W. Mori came out here to stop them from saying anything else. To start their match. After match four, YAMATO said he has his full focus on the King of Gate Tournament. He had just won this from Naruki Doi last month and he has yet to prove himself as the Dream Gate Champion. He fought for too long to reach this position, and he isn't ready to step down and lose he's throne. So whoever wins the King of Gate, he only sees as a first challenge for he's reign and he promises to not lose it on the first defense. Magnitude Kishiwada was very pleased to have win the first round, he hasn't had a Championship match for the Dream Gate Championship since 2005 where he lost the belt. He had yet to get he's rematch that he feels like he deserved. But now he has the chance to go through this tournament and destroy every competition in he's way and he will be YAMATO and reclaim he's Championship. In the closing seconds of the Main Event, Susumu Yokosuka was about to put Yasushi Kanda away with the Jumbo no Kachi! When a mysterious figure, covered from head to toe in black clothing and a mask to cover he's head. The figure, hit Susumu Yokosuka with a Blue Box when the referee wasn't looking. Allowing Yasushi Kanda to win the match with the Ryu's. Yasushi Kanda was very happy with himself, and how the match played out like he planned. He never said he was going to play fair, he will gladly admit that he will use any underhand tactic he can use, in this tournament and the mysterious masked man was just the start of it. He revealed that the mysterious masked man was named Drunken Warrior and he is here to help him and everyone in Deep Drunkers in the King of Gate. Yasushi Kanda plans to go all the way and to face he's former protege, YAMATO.

Oh I will when I can. I even want to try my hands on wrestling training I know a guy in Kyoto, he's name is Mister Cacao, and has he's own promotion called Fukumen MANIA and said he could train me, whenever I get the chance.

No not yet, but I've always wanted to, whether it's to watch wrestling or sight see around Japan. I just know a lot about the geography, with the regions and most of the prefectures. I am working on a JapanWorld Mod on TEW16 and I've been using the info to help me with certain parts of the mod.

Yea sorry I meant to write Kansai. I'll change that.

Dragon Gate of Kobe (Hyogo, Kansai) Japan is one of the more interesting promotions in Japan of today. Slowly but surely were able to make themselves the second top promotion in Japan, currently selling out the Korakuen Hall Shows and all of the top arenas besides the Sumo Hall and Tokyo Dome. But it wasn't always that glorious. There were truly periods in time of Dragon Gate that wasn't all that peachy clean, Dragon Gate was known to reclaim their glory through the grand rivalry of Blood Warriors and Junction Three. But before that all it wasn't all that great, which you all will soon find out why. Dragon Gate a home of Units, Nearly everyone is in a Unit and there can usually be at least 4-5 Units at a time, and the system as always been simple.... Four face Unit and One Heel Unit, The Heel Unit is there for a reason, they aren't the most popular to the crowd and therefore don't sell the most merch. But a Heel group is needed to counter act all of the face Units. If you don't have a good Heel Unit then it's just an endless amount of Face vs Face feuds which can easily be boring. So in order for this to happen you need a group of heels that can keep the crowds interest, And it used always be solid... Until Deep Drunkers were created. Deep Drunkers are what you would called the geeks of the groups. Yasushi Kanda, Kenichiro Arai, Takuya Sugawara, Naoki Tanizaki & Kzy were all fine wrestlers, Yasushi Kanda was one of the best trash talkers in all of the previous Heel Units he has been in (Muscle Outlaw'Z, Real Hazard) But he was always just a good midcarder. Never pushed above he position, and now being put into a immediate position, without of much of a build up to be a leader and the main top heel of the Unit. Kenichiro Arai was always a great talent, the fans always loved him during he's time in FinalM2K and Tozawa-Juku. He always had a grand tag team with Taku Iwasa. But he was always just a Midcarder, not someone that you could put into your Main Event to draw you a lot money, being put as the second hand to Yasushi Kanda of Deep Drunkers is starting to have the same effect that Yasushi Kanda does. Takuya Sugawara, after a 4 year absents returned to Dragon Gate. Betraying he's old pal Anthony W. Mori joining the feared Real Hazard, it all seemed fine from there, until he had to wrestler. Being away from the Dragon Gate ring for so long, he hasn't been used to the Dragon Gate style for so long. So it was a struggle watching him through the matches, not being as fit as he used to be Athletic wise and Wrestling wise. Leaving him to be a guy that is just there in the Real Hazard group, but as soon as Deep Drunkers started up he became their third guy. Kzy, the young boy coming out of the Dragon Gate Dojo. Coming out of the dojo with not the best bunch of guys - Super Shenlong, Kotoka, RYOMA. Starting out as a fall guy for WORLD-1 eventually becoming the fall guy for Real Hazard. And now the the fall guy for Deep Drunkers. And he hasn't improve in-ring since he came out of that dojo. Lastly but not least, Naoki Tanizaki, he has always been one of my favourites. He could've been handed a better deal if he did try to leave Dragon Gate for a Rival promotion in DragonDoor and El Dorado. Since they went out of business he crawled he's way back to the Dragon Gate. Getting a decent Brave Gate Championship Run. But since then he had found himself floundering in he's spot with WORLD-1 before eventually becoming a late addition to Deep Drunkers one month before it was disbanded. --- But now with all of that out og the way, my job right now is to go back to April of 2010 and try my best to rewrite history in seeing what I would've done with Dragon Gate 2010 and Deep Drunkers before going into 2011. Next couple of posts will be the roster, champions etc.
