What’s your guys take on El Dandy this time around? One of my all time favorite wrestlers that will likely be in my top 20 if not top 10 for my lists.

I think the only wrestler named in Speaking out that I would consider on my list would be David Starr so speaking out from last summer rally doesn’t really effect my list all that much unless we get a part 2 in these next couple years. I think a lot of people will be advocating for Ospreay especially since he is the IWGP champ now and seems to be the top Gaijin in New Japan going forward unless that fanbase goes entirely away.

I know at SCI 2019 in the the second round, the story was that he got injured in the first match. Instead of taking it easy and pulling out of the tournament, he came up where they start in the bleachers of the high school gym the show was taking place and they started a brawl which resulted in a fun match. I can’t wait to start rewatching his work as he is one of my favorite wrestlers ever and one of the best I have ever seen live.

I think the biggest knock against Pete Dunne’s case is was when he and the other British Strong Style guys got their original deals that allowed them to still work indies and Pete in general did not give a fuck about his work during his bookings. Some truly awful and mailed in matches during that time period. Maybe that won’t matter in 5 years as his run in WWE has generally been really good and will continue to grow but it’s a huge black mark on his case at least for me.
