Loss
Meltzer's preview of the show: --TNA PPV line-up for tomorrow: *Raven vs Abyss in a must end via pinfall dog collar match for the NWA title. It'll be a bloodbath. Won't be the style of world title match you get usually in WWE, but probable lots of weapons and brawling. I know, Cena vs. JBL and HHH vs. Batista were like that as well. *Sean Waltman vs. A.J. Styles with Jerry Lynn as ref. Well, everyone knows Lynn is involved in the finish, just now how. Should be good. *Christopher Daniels vs. Petey Williams for the X title. Looks very good on paper. *Samoa Joe vs. Chris Sabin. Could be the show stealer. I can't imagine this being anything but good *Konnan & Ron Killings vs. ? & Monty Brown. The ? is what name the one-time Billy Gunn will use, as WWE lawyers have backed TNA down from using the new The Outlaw because it's too close to New Age Outlaw. There are a bunch of names being batted around. *The Naturals & Lance Hoyt vs. Eric Young & Bobby Roode & Alistair Ralphs. Will be a fast moving match *Chris Harris & James Storm vs. Michael Shane & Alex Shelley. This also could be the show stealer When you look at this on paper, it's probably going to be a hell of a show. Raven vs. Abyss could be a mess, but probably won't be. The 3LK match will probably be the weakest technically, but has the strongest ongoing storyline and will get over in the building. Obviously, Jeff Jarrett will be involved in a major way on the show, which is not a positive but that's the reality. Rhyno has already talked about debuting on the show. Matt Hardy is expected to appear on the show as well, as WWE has cleared him to do a run-in to put over his current angle. Meltzer seems to think this card looks good on paper, but nothing really stands out as great looking to me. Then again, I've never seen a Michael Shane match and don't know what kind of effect he'd have on the tag match, nor have I seen a Sabin match, so I'm not sure how he and Joe will click.
