Christmas Day Special: Champion Vs Champion
25th December 1982

Arena Matches before Live Broadcast


Pacific Northwest Tag Team Champions the Islanders (Sivi Afi and King Tonga) destroy Doug Vines and Jeff Sword in less than 5 minutes when King Tonga made Doug Vines submit to the Tonga Death Grip. The champions looked on the money tonight and looked very prepared to face the winners of the #1 Contenders Tournaments which will start this evening on television.

Second arena match of the evening is “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer against the son of Wild Samoans Afa, Samu. Samu is a very inexperience young kid, and it shows as Sawyer is in nothing but in control of this match from the off. He is beating Samu around the ring, hitting a couple of Battering Rams in the corner, followed by a head butt, he lifts Samu up for a Power slam and hits it and covers for the fall at 5:57.

After the bout “Mad Dog”” is celebrating in the ring and Samu roll’s out and then from out of nowhere the Wild Samoans storm the ring and attack Sawyer. Sika hits a huge Samoan Drop on Sawyer and both Samoans hit a double Head butt. And Start to stomp a mud hole in Sawyer along with Samu, until.........................From the back it’s Brett Wayne Sawyer to make the save. Brett cleans house. The Samoans retreat to the changing rooms while Brett helps his brother to his feet and carries him to the back...

A pre recorded message is show before we go to the live broadcast. Don Owen is standing in the world famous crow’s nest in an empty Portland Sports Arena. “Ladies and gentlemen, before we start, here at Pacific Northwest Wrestling we want to send out our deepest condolences’ to the Bonnema family. For those of you that don’t know, Frank was the host of Portland wrestling for over 18 years and on the 15th of October Frank died of a sudden heart attack. And out respect to Frank, Portland Wrestling hasn’t been on television for the last two months. It didn’t feel right for the program to go on without the voice of Portland Wrestling, but with much discussion the Bonnema family, we have decided the time is right to go on”.

“Frank Bonnema has always been a staple of Portland and to carry on with that, I’m announcing that on the 29th of January there will be a Frank Bonnema 6 Man Tag Team Memorial Cup in the honour of his life and work here at Pacific Northwest Wrestling. All revenue from this event will go to Bonnema family as a thank you from PNW and the NWA for a man who served this promotion so well for so long. In that tournament you are going to be seeing NWA World Champion Harley Race teaming with “Playboy” Buddy Rose and Don Muraco, Andre the Giant will be teaming with Portland favourites Roddy Piper and Billy Jack Haynes, The Sheepherders with Jonathon Boyd and the Wild Samoans’ and Samu and more teams to be announced. More on the tournament in the next couple of weeks. Once again we like to pass on our condolences’, but as Frank would say, the show must go on. Now to your new host Don Coss joined by Dutch Savage. ”

Don Coss welcomes the fans to a very special Christmas day edition of Portland Wrestling. Don is joined by Dutch Savage. Coss says a big thank you to the fans for all of the cards and messages for Frank Bonnema and although they are filling in for Frank they can’t replace him, he was a true legend of Portland Wrestling history. He was the best. Dutch Savage adds “the king is dead, long live the king”. We go to some words from Portland Wrestling’s sponsors.

We are back and Don Coss discusses how excited they are to be entering 1983 and some new faces are coming to the Oregon area. One in particular is very exciting, and that’s the soon arrival of the world travelled Masked Superstar. We will have more on him later as we have a nice video package of him.

But also making their debut in the area are The Famous Guerreros Brothers Hector and Mando. Mando and Hector walk into picture up on the crow’s nest. Don and Dutch welcome them to Portland and both agree that they are very excited to be competing in the Number 1 Contenders Tournament for the Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championship currently held by the Islander Sivi Afi and King Tonga. The Guerreros talk about how great it is to be in Portland and how they are thrill to have the opportunity to get a Tag Team Title match so quick into their tenure. We have a lot of respect for the Islanders they’ve done a lot over the past couple of months. The famous Guerrero family name will soon become part of Portland wrestling history. We start tonight with the number 1 contender’s tournament.

Don Coss says that will be great to see the Guerreros against the Islanders for the Pacific Tag Team Titles, but the Guerreros have 3 other teams they have to contend with before they reach the champs, the Islanders. They include the former champs the Sheepherders, the young team of the Nightmares and the team you the Guerreros will be facing tonight in Afi and Sika the Wild Samoans’. Don Coss finishes off by wishing the Guerreros good luck in the tournament.

Just as the Guerreros go to leave the Crows Nest, Percival Pringle III walks into the crow’s nest and welcomes the Guerreros to Portland and offers his services as they manager. The Guerreros say they have seen the way in which Pringle handles his business and they are not interested in what he has to offer and they don’t want to see Pringle anywhere near their business. Percival is offended by what the Guerreros say and stats that this could be the worst decision of their short time in Portland. Hector replies by saying that, that’s something we will have to live with, but we would never associate with the likes of Pringle. Percival Pringle storms out of the crow’s nest, mumbling no one refuses my services.

Match #1: Opening bout of the evening sees the Sheepherders of Luke Williams and Butch Miller against the Nightmares consisting of Danny Davis and Ken Wayne . This bout is a semi final match in the Number 1 Contenders Tournament for the Pacific Northwest Tag Team Titles. The Sheepherders are former champion and they look very much in control of this one. The Sheepherders are making sure this match doesn’t turn into a wrestling contest but is staying as a brawl. The less experienced team of the Nightmare are building some offence in this match but just when they build some momentum the Sheepherders cut them off. The Sheepherders get the win after a Double Gut Buster on Ken Wayne and Butch Miller gets the 3 count at 10:27. The Sheepherders advance to the final of the Number 1 Contenders tournament in 2 weeks.

Don Coss is joined now by “Playboy” Buddy Rose, he cuts an interview where he rants that he is the best wrestler in Portland and nobody can beat him and he has nothing to prove. That he can beat anyone put in his way. Coss points out that “although “Playboy” might be one of the best in Pacific Northwest, he isn’t the champion; Roddy Piper is, so he would clearly be the best as he has the heavyweight title”. Rose interrupts and goes on to say that “Piper is only keeping the belt warm until he is ready to take the title again. And that day could be anytime now. So Roddy Piper needs to be on guard. Anyway back to tonight, to prove to you Don and everyone else he's the best he will put out an open challenge to anyone who wants to prove they are better than me”.

At this point there is some movement in the crowd as someone is making their way to the ring. Don Coss highlights to Buddy Rose that someone is just getting into the ring, Rose who’s back is to the ring, is laughing off Coss comments. Rose is still ranting about being the absolute best Portland has to offer. The man in the ring grabs the ring announces microphone and says “Buddy, wanna come and play?” With a shocked look on his face, like he has just seen a ghost, Buddy Rose slowly turns around to see......

The man with Oregon on his trunks Billy Jack Haynes, “You may claim to be the best in Portland, but I’m the best Oregon has to offer so ill take you up on your open challenge. I’m going to give these fans an extra Christmas present, by kicking your butt all over the Portland Sports Arena”. The crowd are going crazy for Billy Jack Haynes, “Come on Rose, come and Play Boy” The crowd are going wild, they want to see these two meet. Rose says that although this was an open challenge to prove who was better than him, I don’t think you’re even in the “Playboys” league, so maybe Haynes if you can beat my chosen opponent for you tonight then maybe you’ll work your way up the ladder to face me. Because you see I’m at the top of the ladder and maybe one day I’ll see you there, so tonight Billy Jack you face Jonathon Boyd”. The crowd boo loudly for the cowardly actions of Rose. Haynes says that if that’s what he needs to do to get to Rose he will.

Match #2: Billy Jack Hynes versus Jonathon Boyd , Boyd looks like he may of bit of more than he can chew with Haynes. After a few minutes of cautious offence by both men, Haynes expodes and goes on an immense attack, rights and lefts to the body of Boyd. A hard Irish whip to the corner and Boyd bouncing out and is caught by a clothesline from Haynes. Haynes picks him up and shows his strength by lifting Boyd for a huge Suplex and then lifts him for a gorilla press but Boyd claws Haynes eyes. Boyd starts to work over Haynes legs, Boyd has Billy Jack in the corner and he is stomping away at him. Boyd runs at Haynes and hits a clothline in the corner, he goes for the same again but Haynes grabs his head and hits it against the turnbuckle pad and locks in the Full Nelson as Boyd stumbles back, Boyd submits almost instantly. The match ends at 12:19, Haynes gets the win on christmas day. Next up for him is “Playboy” Buddy Rose.

Match #3: ”Crippler” Rip Oliver defeats Art Crews in under 3 minutes when he hits a deadly Piledriver. Oliver was in control for the entire match and Crew barely got a look in, in short he was beaten around the ring and the Crippler finished off the youngster quickly. After the match, Oliver continues his assault on Crews by rubbing his face into the mat and hitting another Piledriver. Until out of nowhere Matt Bourne rushes the ring and fights off Oliver. The two are fighting in the ring and Borne gets the upper hand and Oliver retreats.

VTR of the world travelled Masked Superstar is shown, he says he is happy to be coming to Portland. He said he isn’t coming to make up the numbers but to win titles and make history. There are clips shown of some of his recent training sessions. He says he is a no nonsense type of person and soon the fans of Portland see that the era of the Superstar starts soon. Great Mephisto comes to the crow’s nest and says that he wants the Masked Superstars services; he thinks that the Masked Superstar would work well against his Television Champion Gama Singh.

Match #4: Sees the debut of The Guerreros Hector and Mando against the Wild Samoans’ of Sika and Afi in the semi finals of the number 1 contender’s tournament for the PNW Tag Team Titles. This match has a mix of styles. The Samoans are trying to brutalise the Guerreros, but the quickness of Hector and Mando is gaining them the advantage at this point, until the Samoans’ corner Hector and give him a real beat down in the corner. Mando is trying to get in but the referee keeps getting in his way and sending him back to the outside. Finally Hector rolls out of the corner and makes the hot tag and Mando. Mando is in and is clearing house. Mando is on fire hitting drop kicks and flying forearms. This bout looks like it’s going the way of the Guerreros, until Percival Pringle III comes out and distracts Hector who is recovering from his onslaught on the floor; he starts to argue with Pringle and tells him to get lost. The referee gets Hector back on the apron as this happens, Mando runs the ropes and Pringle trips him and Afi hits a Samoan Drop for the win and his team advance to the finals of the number 1 contender’s tournament for the PNW Tag Team Titles in 15 minutes of action.

The Guerreros chase Pringle though the crowd into the crow’s nest where the Guerreros are met by.....


The Super Destroyers are laying in wait and attack the already beaten Guerreros; they beat the snot out of the Guerreros in crow’s nest. The crowd are shocked. The Super Ds clearly being lead by Pringle as Pringle is egging on his Destroyers and they are proving their name. . The Ds tear apart the Guerreros with this vicious attack. The Ds and Pringle walk away smiling and laughing while the Guerreros lay motionless on the floor of the crow’s nest.

Match #5: Main Event of the evening, it’s a special Champion vs. Champion 2 out of 3 falls match pitting the Pacific Northwest Heavyweight ChampionRowdy Roddy Piper against the Pacific Northwest Television Champion Gama Singh with Great Mephisto. Neither title is on the line. The heavyweight champion gets a hell of a response as he comes to the ring. The ring announcer is introducing both wrestlers when Gama Singh charges at Piper and clocks him with an unexpected forearm smash. Singh caught Piper of guard and has an early advantage in this match, Mephisto is very happy with his man, if Singh can put in a good performance he may be in line for a future title match. Back to the action, the Television champion is still in control; he knocks Piper out of the ring and pulls Sandy Barr to one side as Mephisto gets a sly kick to the gut of Piper on the floor. But it has the opposite effect as it wakes Piper up. Piper grabs hold of the Great Mephisto but Gama Singh is out and lumps Piper from behind and grabs hold of his head and rams it into the apron. He rolls Piper into the ring and starts to work over the neck. He hits a nice neck breaker and follows that up with an elbow drop to the back of the head. Singh sits on Pipers back and wretches his head back and Piper is in agony. Gama gets up and hits a leg drop to the back of the neck. Gama is refusing to go for the pin; he stomps on the injured neck. Gama Singh looking very proud and confident of his performance so far, is raising his arms towards the crowd. Piper rolls towards Singh and grabs his tights and rolls him up for a surprise 3 count for the first fall of this contest at 10:09. Gama is irate and goes mental and attacks Piper and really starts to lay into him. Piper is slowing making he’s way to his feet, Singh shots are taking less and less effect on Piper. Piper is now standing up right and looking at Singh, who is shocked, that piper is back up. Gama keeps hitting Piper but Roddy just takes the hit and looks right back at his opponent. Singh’s punches are just not working. Piper explodes and is hitting lefts and rights on the Television champion. Piper momentum is amazing, Singh doesn’t know what to. The Great Mephisto gets up on the ring apron, but Piper smashes him with a right, Singh charges Piper, but Piper side steps him and locks in a sleeper hold. After about 20 seconds Sandy Barr lifts Singh’s hand and it drops three times and Piper is declared the winner at 18:12.

After the match, Piper is celebrating in the ring, when Santa Claus joins him from the changing rooms and he has a sack full of Christmas presents that he is tossing into the crowd much to the delight of the young children. Don Coss comments on how Piper and Father Christmas are just giving back to the fans for supporting Portland Wrestling. Santa Claus grabs the champion hand and raises it. The crowd bursts with excitement at this scene. Piper still holding his neck from the beat down earlier. When Santa out of the blue hits him with a clothes line. What the hell is happening Coss screams, Santa pulls his beard down and rips his hat of and it’s.................

DON MURACO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He picks Piper up and hits a devastating Piledriver to the already injured neck of Roddy. The Crowd are going wild; they have steamed the ring and are right up close to the apron. “The Rock” picks Piper up again and hits another Piledriver. As the show goes off the air, we are left with the image of Don Muraco dressed as Santa Claus in the centre of the ring standing over “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.....

After the show, the arena security manage to get Don Muraco out of the ring and back to the changing rooms, away from the baying mobs. Faces like Matt Borne and the Islanders are in the ring to check on Piper. Piper is stretchered from the ring in a neck brace straight to a local A and E....

Arena Matches before Live Broadcast


The evenings actions starts with Rip Oliver defeating Steve Gatorwolf in a very quick match around 3 minutes long. Gatorwolf got very little offence in on the more experienced Rip Oliver. Oliver is on a roll as of late and finishes this match off with a Piledriver. Oliver who had a confrontation with Matt Borne last week on television will be happy that he’s facing Gatorwolf and not Borne. Borne took offence to Oliver beating down on Art Crews after their match last week. Maybe somewhere down the road Borne and Oliver will get it on.

Next up is Brett Wayne Sawyer against the young Samoan Samu . This match comes about because on last week’s pre show, Brett’s brother “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer defeated Samu and he was attacked after the match by Afa and Sika, the Wild Samoans’. Brett Wayne Sawyer made the save and fought off the 3 Samoans’. This one is a very even bout, a back and forth match, where neither man is gaining a huge advance. But Sawyer experience is too much for the young Samoan, and Sawyer gets the win at 7:23 with a Side Slam and a pin fall. After the bout the Wild Samoans’ run out to the ring and attack Sawyer much like scenes from last week. Sawyer is taking a hell of a beating from the 3 Samoans’, until Buzz Sawyers runs to the ring and Afa, Sika and Samu are on their heels. Buzz Sawyer checks on his brother to make sure he is ok. Buzz who felt a similar attack last week, helps he’s brother to the back.

The final match before the television show, the Pacific Northwest Tag Team Champions King Tonga and Sivi Afi The Islanders against the team ofKen Wayne and Danny Davis, The Nightmares . This is a non title match, as the champions the Islanders are signed to face the winners of the Wild Samoans’ – Sheepherders match later tonight. This is a very equal match; the Nightmares are putting in a good showing which could help them gain a title match later on. Nightmares are getting in some good offence on the champions, and one or two near falls but the champions come though when King Tonga lays on the Tonga Death Grip on Wayne and the finally Ken Wayne gives up and the Islander get the win at 12:59. The Islander now move onto the winners of the number 1 contenders tournament and the Nightmares will have to rebuild their status in Portland..

Clips are shown of last week’s brutal attacks on the debuting Guerreros and PNW Champion Roddy Piper. We go to the crow’s nest where Don Coss is with Dutch Savage. They welcome the fans to another week of wrestling action. They describe last weeks attacks as one of the most violent they’ve seen in Portland for many years. They inform the fans that neither Piper, Mando nor Hector are at the Portland Sports Arena this evening as they are resting up. Although there will be an in ring interview with the Guerreros next week, its unknown when heavyweight Champion Roddy Piper will return. Which makes us wonder if Piper cannot make a defence within 30 days he may be stripped of the title all together? That’s not a pretty image for Roddy Piper and the PNW fans.

Anyway fans I’m sure Piper will be back soon. Back to tonight’s action, we have the Super Destroyers debuting, we have “The Rock“ Don Muraco in action and hopefully will be able to get an interview with him about his actions last week. Plus the final of the number one contenders tournament, where the Sheepherders will face the Wild Samoans’ in our TV main event.

Match #1: Making there in ring debut here in Portland are the team being lead by Percy Pringle III, The Super Destroyers against the team of Jeff Sword and Doug Vines . The Super Ds certainly look like a team who know what they are doing g in the ring. They have split the ring in half and are isolating Vines in the one corner. Pringle looks very pleased with his new charges. Sword and Vines are mounting very little offence and the Super Ds get the victory in less than 5 minutes when Super Destroyer #1 hits a huge Power slam for the 3 count.

After the bell the Ds and Pringle walk into the crow’s nest and tell Don Coss and Dutch Savage that after just one week in the promotion they have taken out one team in the form of Hector and Mando Guerrero. Pringle goes on to tell everyone in the Portland Sports arena that, it was his plan all along to get the Guerreros into a position for his Destroyers to attack. He finishes off by saying that now they have rid of the Guerreros that next on his agenda are the Islanders and there titles.

Another promotional video for the soon to be debuting Masked Superstar airs. This week the video shows him weigh training and sparing with some local talent. He once again makes his point clear that he is coming to Portland to win titles and take names later. He doesn’t need help from others and soon he will be the Superstar of Portland Wrestling and can’t wait to get started.....

Match #2: The second match of the evening is for the TV title and will feature the Television Champion Gama Singh, with the Great Mephisto in his corner against the up and coming Matt Borne . Matt Borne who has had his problems with Rip Oliver in the past couple of weeks needs to put that behind him and concrete on the task at hand and that’s the Television title. Singh who has kept hold of the title for some time now, knows how to defend it by using his “Champions Advantage” and also using outside interferences from his manager Great Mephisto. Borne has started out hot in this one, he not hanging around knowing its only a 10 minute time limit. Borne is Irish whipping Singh from one corner to the other and hitting lariats as Singh rebounds out of the corner. Borne hits a quick scoop slam and Singh rolls out of the ring. Mephisto is checking on his man, who is using the ten count to his advantage. But Borne isn’t going to allow him to do this so he chases Singh back into the ring but as Borne rolls in, Singh stomps him and lays in the boot to the challenger. The Champion now has the advantage and is taking full control. Singh has got Borne in a sleeper hold and this one looks almost over, but from somewhere Borne has found some fighting spirit and is trying to fight out of the hold, he manages to get the hold turned into a side headlock and Borne is laying in the elbow to Singh who is trying his hardest to hold on but Borne has broken the hold and hits the ropes and lands a flying shoulder block. Borne is back in control and the title could be switching here. The ring announcer announces that there 60 seconds left. From the back Rip Oliver has made his way to the ring and is up on the apron pointing at Borne, Borne goes over and starts to argue with Oliver. Then all of a sudden Gama Singh grabs Borne's tights and rolls him up and gets the 3 count, to the surprise of Borne. Singh gets up and start to celebrate as if he’s earned this win. While Matt Borne leaves the ring and chases Oliver out of sight. Oliver and Borne have now got business to finish and Gama Singh must thank his lucky stars he still has his title because Borne had his number.

Match #3: “The Rock” Don Muraco against Art Crews . Muraco back in his standard attire not the festive attire he had on last week, where he’s brutally attacked PNW Heavyweight Champion Roddy Piper which lead to Piper spending two nights in hospital and its unknown when he’ll be back in action. Muraco is looking very confident and cocky, and is in full control of this match. He is tossing Crews from one side of the ring to the other. Showing of his pure strength he holds Crews in a Gorilla Press for a good 10 seconds. He finishes Art off in just over 6 minutes of punishment with a deadly Piledriver. This bout was never in any doubt and Muraco prove why he’s a top contender for Pipers title.

After the match “The Rock” walks up to the crow’s nest and has an interview with Don Coss and Dutch Savage. “What happened last week has been building up in me for months and months. I will stop at nothing to get that belt. If that means attack after attack on you Piper until you give me a title match but until then that’s what will happen, I will go to any lengths, if I have to dress up as the Easter bunny and beat you around the ring like I did as Jolly St. Nick last week I will. I will be making examples of people until you meet me in the ring one on one with the title on the line. Your time is up Roddy, time to go back to Scotland and the Age of The Rock begins”.

Match #4: Due to Billy Jack Haynes beating Jonathon Boyd last week, Haynes gets a match against the self proclaimed “Best in Portland” Buddy Rose. Billy Jack makes his way to the ring to great fan fare; he’s in the ring waiting for Buddy Rose. Then all of a sudden Rose walks to the ring on crutches with Boyd helping him. Boyd helps Rose into the ring, Rose takes the microphone and says “Last Tuesday I was helping some kids in a local Portland high school, because I’m a local hero you see, with some wrestling classes and I pull my calf muscle in a freak twist. I managed to finish the session in great pain, as I couldn’t let all the Rose fans down. So I continued in great pain. After I went to my doctor and he told me I couldn’t compete this weekend. Now the last thing I want to do is let the fans down of the Portland area by not competing but I’m going to have too. I’m sorry for you the fans but Billy Jack Haynes you won’t get off so easy; my man Jonathon Boyd’s wants revenge on last week and hes going to get it. But Haynes I will be back and I will meet you one on one because I hold on to my promises.”

The crowd boos loudly at this, Haynes goes for Rose but Boyd cuts him off. Looks like we are on for Billy Jack Haynes against Jonathon Boyd again this week. The attack by Boyd has given him the early advantage as Buddy Rose on crutches leaves the ring but stays on the outside 'to watch this one. Boyd is working over Haynes back, hitting several power slams, back breakers and also holding on to Haynes trunks pushing him away and pulling him back in and landing a forearm to Haynes lower back. Buddy Rose loves this display from Boyd. But Haynes is starting to fight back and mount a comeback, using lefts and rights; Haynes hits a big Suplex on Boyd and hurts his back at the same time. But he is up again and fighting, he runs the ropes looking to finish off Boyd but............... Rose clubs him with one of the crutches and the referee call for the bell at 10:56 and DQ’d Boyd. There was nothing wrong with Rose at all, Rose is in the ring and is attacking Haynes. But Haynes is starting to get his second wind and is trying to fight back, and Rose and Boyd retreat to the back. Haynes will get his revenge and the fans will love it.

A commercial is shown for the Frank Bonnema Memorial Six Man Tag Team Cup on the 29th of January featuring a one night 6-man tag team tournament.

Match #5: This is the main event of the evening, and it’s for a Pacific Northwest Tag Team Title match against the champions the Islanders. The Sheepherders of Butch Miller and Luke Williams beat the Nightmares and The Wild Samoans of Afa and Sika defeats the Guerreros with the help of Percival Pringle last week to earn this match. This match is not going to be a mat classic that’s for sure; this is going to be a brawl. As the bell rings to start the contest both teams charge at each other and start battling, trading heavy hitting blows. Afa and Miller are fighting on the outside of the ring while Luke and Sika are in the ring. Neither team are crowd favourites but the fans love the two teams taking each other apart. This one is brutal, Butch Miller is biting at Afa head on the outside, while Sika is hitting head butt after head butt on Williams in the ring. The Referee Sandy Barr has managed to get this match back solely in the ring. It’s been a lot harder task for Sandy Barr trying to maintain order with two teams trying to break the rules. We have about 5 minutes of standard back and forth tag team action when all hell breaks loose again and both teams are brawling, Afa and Williams are brawling on the outside and Barr is trying to get the two men back in the ring when from the back Buzz Sawyer runs to the ring and hits Sika with a running power slam and pulls Butch Miller on to Sika and Barr see the cover rushes back into the ring and makes the 3 count for the Sheepherders to win the match at 15:34 and a chance at the PNW Tag Team Titles next week on television. The Samoans’ are mad, the Sheepherders don’t know what happened or how they won, but they don’t care they got what they wanted. Buzz is standing in the crow’s nest laughing as we go off the air for this week.

Arena Matches before Live Broadcast


Match #1: As the fans pile into the Portland Sports Arena for another hot night of action the opening bout of the evening sees Percival Pringle III Super Destroyers against the team of Ken Wayne and Danny Davis, The Nightmares . The Nightmares really need to start building momentum or they are going to fall behind the Pacific Northwest Wrestling Tag Team Title picture. The bout opens with Danny Davis and Destroyer #2 trading hold for hold, hold for counter hold. Maybe tonight will be the night the Nightmares turn their fortunes around and get a victory. As the match progresses the Destroyers take more and more control and the Nightmares are getting frustrated that they can’t get more of an offence in. Although the match started of evenly this has now turn the corner and the Destroyers are fully in control and get the win at 12:02 when Super Destroyer #1 hits a stiff lariat. The Destroyers next port of call must be the returning Guerreros.

Match #2: Making his debut is junior heavyweight wrestler Buck Zumhoffe against youngster Troy Martin . A very quick match, as Zumhoffe looked very smooth and in control in there with the very inexperienced Troy Martin. Zumhofe who looks very impressive finishes of Martin in a matter of minutes with a Flying Splash from the tope rope in just over 3 minutes. Zumhoffe show the fans a lot of ariel moves which no doubt the fans will enjoy seeing week in week out.


Match #3: The Wild Samoans defeat the team of Art Crews and Steve Gatorwolf , when Sika hit a huge Samoan Drop on Gatorwolf after about 4 minutes of one sided action. The Samoans are hot after their lost last week on television in the final of the number contender’s tournament for a shot at the Islanders. And there be looking for more than just revenge against the Sawyers. But like what they always say, what goes around comes around.

We start the show with Dutch Savage and Don Coss welcoming the fans to the TV show and also reminding them of the huge Frank Bonnema Memorial Cup in 3 weeks time, and for those who can’t make it matches will be shown on the January 29th television show, but the only way to see the whole show will be to be there in person. The two announcers start recapping last week’s action, mainly the final of the Tag Team number one contender’s tournament, clips are shown of the final moments.

They explain the reason for Buzz Sawyer getting involved was because of the attacks on each of the Sawyer brothers on the pre show matches over the past two weeks from the Wild Samoans’ when their young charge Samu was in action. Unfortunately for the fans at home we don’t start filming until the television program goes live so there is no footage of this, this is another reason why fans should try and make it to the events, because everything can happen.

Tonight we have the a huge 2 out of 3 falls Pacific Northwest Wrestling Tag Team title match, pitting the number one contenders the Sheepherders against the reigning and defending champions the Islanders in our main event. Also we have the debut of the Masked Superstar and the return of the Guerreros brothers who have a couple of things to get off their chest. The Wild Samoans’ are also in action, at this point “The Rock” Don Muraco strolls into the crow’s nest. “Don and Dutch, where is your champion? Have you seen him? I have and I know he’s here tonight, and he will be defending his heavyweight title against me tonight.” The crow react loudly to this news. “That’s right the fans of Portland Wrestling tonight in the Portland Sports Arena and live on television, I will finally meet Rowdy Dowdy Piper. And why wait for later to meet lets kick off the show with the match. I can’t wait any longer to become Portland’s hero and champion”.

Match #1: Don Muraco makes his way to the ring, and tell the ring announcer to introduce him and then to introduce Piper.Coss and Savage comment on how they fell this doesnt feel real to them. The ring announcer introduces Muraco and “now making his return to the ring, coming from Glasgow Scotland Rowdy Roddy Piper, the crowd are electric waiting on Piper; everyone is looking around trying to find him. There’s some movement in the crowd.....

From the back comes a midget wrestler in a kilt. He makes his way into the ring, Muraco is laughing. The announcer is bemused by what’s happening. Muraco is screaming at the announcer to announce the match as a PNW Heavyweight Title match. The announcer who is now being held by the arm by Muraco announces the match is for one fall and for the PNW Heavyweight title bout. Muraco screams at the time keeper to ring the bell, the fans are irate, they wanted to see Piper and they wanted Muraco to get what’s he has coming to him. The time keeper refuse to ring the bell and several referee come to the ring to stop this madness. The referees all stand in front of Muraco who holds his hands up and goes to walk out of the ring before anyone gets hurt, just at that point Muraco lumps Little Roddy with a stiff kick. Muraco makes his way back to the crow’s nest. While Little Piper is being seen to in the ring, the crowd are furious.

Muraco in the crow’s nest gloating about what he’s just down saying he’s the real champion and Piper didn’t quite make the mark. Just at that point Don Coss is handed a piece of paper, “Your be very interested in this Don, next week there be a battle royal, and the winner of that will meet the Rowdy Roddy Piper on the 5th of February here live on KTPV”. Don Muraco replies back “Well that can’t happen because Roddy won’t have defended the title within the 30 day period, so crown me the champion”. Don Coss replies “Well its funny you should say that because this letter, which is from PNW President Don Owen states that because of the extreme nature of Pipers injuries he has been given an extended period of 45 days”. Muraco snaps back, “You can’t do that” Don Coss replies “I guess as the president he can and has. Big battle royal next week live on television, where the winner has a chance of becoming Pacific Northwest Champion when they will meet Rowdy Roddy Piper on the 5th”. Muraco storms away from the crow’s nest irate.

Match #2: Second match of the evenings sees the Brother duo of ’Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer and Brett Wayne Sawyer against the team of Jeff Sword and Doug Vines .It’s very clear the Sawyers only have one team on their mine and that’s the Wild Samoans’. They steam roll though this team much like the Wild Samoans’ did earlier. These teams are on a collision course and it’s not going to look pretty. The Sawyer were in control for most of the match, with Vines and Sword getting very little offence in on the “Mad Dogs” of Portland wrestling. Buzz hits a running Power Slam on Vines for the win at 7:14. After the match the Sawyers make their way to the crow’s nest to much fan fare and tell Don Coss and Dutch Savage that they want the Samoans’ and no one else.

Match #3: Rip Oliver and “Playboy” Buddy Rose against the team of Matt Borne and Billy Jack Haynes . This match comes about because of the problems these four men have had with each other over the past couple of weeks. Billy Jack Haynes has his back tapped up after the attack from the so called injured Buddy Rose last week on TV when he hit Haynes with his crutch, and we are still waiting for Rose to come though on his promise of meeting Haynes. The other two men in this one is Matt Borne problems with the way Rip Oliver has been treating the younger talent in PNW, and also Oliver cost Borne the TV title last week. This could be the night Haynes finally gets his hands on Rose. The match starts with Borne and Rose, but Rose is pointing at Haynes suggesting that he wants him in the ring and not Borne, Borne tags out and almost at the same time Rose does the same. What a coward. But Oliver is fine to stay in there and fight, he loves to fight. As the match progresses though the early stages, only Oliver is in the ring fighting against the popular team of Borne and Haynes, but Oliver is starting to lose control and Roses reluctances to tag in when Haynes is in the ring is unbelievable, its putting a lot of pressure on the Rip, who is doing all the fighting. Finally Rose get into the ring and is fighting with Borne when he racks his eyes, Haynes is hot and tries to get into the ring when referee Sandy Barr stops him, at this point Buddy Rose hits a low blow on Borne and the advantage is fully on the side of Oliver and Rose. Rose has isolated Borne in the corner and the double teaming has started and there’s no way out for Borne and more importantly there no way in for Haynes. Rip and Buddy are switching it about, tagging in and out and taking shots at Borne. Borne has taken a hell of a beating and looking like hell never make the tag, Haynes has had enough of this and is in the ring and has gone wild on Oliver. Sandy Barr is trying to get him out of the ring, Rose has pulled Borne from the ring and he is now laying into him on the floor, finally Barr gets Haynes out of the ring and starts a ten count for Borne who’s still on the floor, Haynes has rushed around the ring to help Borne but it’s too late and the referee has counted the ten and your winners via count out “Playboy” Buddy Rose and Rip Oliver at 12:27. Rose and Oliver flee the ring though the crowd instantly as Haynes sees to Borne.

Match #4: Making his debut to much fan fare is the World Travelled Masked Superstar against the Young Samoan Samu . Don Coss and Dutch Savage talk about all the title Superstar has won across all the states of America and worldwide, they are hyping the fact he just came of a long run as champion in the Mid-South area. They talk about how he is after titles and winning and that’s all. They also put over how he has caught the attention of Great Mephisto who would very much like the services of Masked Superstar. The match in hand is very straight forward, both men try and get a feel for each other, Superstar natural talent takes the early advantage and after about 4 minutes it looks all over for Samu as Superstar hits a Swinging Neck breaker for the painful at 5:06. A very convincing debut by The Masked Superstar, The Great Mephisto walks into the ring from the back clapping his hands. He gets into the ring and gets a microphone and congratulates him on his debut win and offers his service as Superstars manager. The Superstar just walks out the ring and strolls back to the changing rooms slapping hands with the adoring fans. Mephisto doesn’t look too amused.

A commercial is shown for the Frank Bonnema Memorial Six Man Tag Team Cup on the 29th of January featuring a one night 6-man tag team tournament. Featuring the following teams...

Match #5: The Main event of the evening is a 2 out of 3 fall match for the Pacific Northwest Wrestling Tag Team Titles. The defending champions areKing Tonga and Sivi Afi, The Islanders against the number one contenders Luke Williams and Butch Miller, The Sheepherders .

Fall #1: Just as the bell rings to start this match the Sheepherder steam towards the Islanders and attack them. The Islanders didn’t know what hit them and Luke and Butch have picked up Sivi Afi and throw him to the outside and they grab hold of Tonga and ram him into the turnbuckle and pick him up and hit a double gut buster and Butch covers the stunned and now winded Islander and get a 3 count for the first fall at 1:12.

Fall #2: The Sheepherders are not hanging about, both men have dropped to the outside and grab hold of Sivi Afi and pick him up and drop him on the guard rail. Luke Williams rolls back into the ring and starts an onslaught on the hurt Tonga. While Butch is putting a beating on Afi on the outside. Tonga is starting to make a comeback, after Williams head butts King Tonga, rather than hurt him it woke him up and now he is fighting back with chops and kicks and Williams is reeling. Tonga is now in control of the action in the ring and is fighting back harder and harder and the advantage has shifted to the Islanders. While this is happening Afi has battled Miller back into his corner. The Sheepherders are stunned, they are on the back foot now and Tonga tags in Sivi Afi. Afi is laying into Williams who tags in the fresher Butch Miller, but Afi is on fire and continues his assault. Luke Williams panics and runs into the ring and King Tonga cuts him off with a huge chop to the chest of Williams. Sivi Afi has climbed to the top and hits a Flying Cross Body Block on Miller and get the fall at 10:56, to level the match at one a piece.

Fall #3: Now the match is level and both teams are starting to show the sights of tiredness after this hard hitting battle. But both teams are still slugging it out. The battle has fallen to the floor and all four men are battling on the floor and around the ring, referee Sandy Barr is giving a little more leeway as its for the titles. The wrestling has gone out of the window, as these four men are now brawling, it’s like a good old fashioned street fight. After several minutes on the outside all four men are back in the ring and Sivi Afi has gone to the top rope, he must be looking for the Flying Cross Body Block but from out of nowhere Butch Miller flies across the ring and knocks Sivi Afi of the top rope. It’s now two on one in favour of the Sheepherders, they grab hold of Tonga hit another Gut Buster like earlier and then a Battering Ram, this must be the end, Williams covers the champion, 1......2.....no Tonga kicks out. The Sheepherders are mad, they hit another double Gut Buster followed by one more double Gut Buster, it’s over now, Williams covers 1......2.......Afi comes of the top rope to break up the fall. Where did Afi get the strength to come back from being knocked to the outside. Afi is hot and is clearing house. King Tonga is trying to get to his feet using the ropes to help him, when Butch Miller runs at him and Tonga finds the strength to flip Miller over the top rope to the floor, Sivi Afi hits a Inverted Atomic Drop on Williams who stumbles back into a Tonga Death Grip by King Tonga. Butch Miller is back up on the apron but Afi hits a huge dropkick and Miller is back onto the floor. Williams finally submits to the Death Grip and your winners at 21:01 and still PNW Tag Team Champions Sivi Afi and King Tonga the Islanders. What a match to end the show and the Islanders retain the titles. They came from one fall down to win this contest and prove they are the best team in Portland.

Arena Matches before Live Broadcast


Match #1: The newcomer Buck Zumhoffe coming off his impressive debut last week, is faced against Art Crews . A fast paced opener with two of PNW young talent trying to impress the powers that be in Portland. Both men are exchanging move for move with each other, with Zumhoffe coming of the better after the opening exchanges. Zumhoffe comes from the ropes and hits a quick clothes line and carries on hits the other ropes, Crews bounces back up and Buck connects with another clothes line. Zumhoffe climbs to the top rope and comes off and hits a Flying Body Block and covers Art for the win at 5:12. Another win for the newcomer Buck Zumhoffe.

Match #2: From the UK making his debut is Marty Jones against the young Samoan Samu . Marty Jones has held junior and middleweight titles all over Europe for the past couple of years, even holding victories over the current NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion the Dynamite Kid back in their home country. Marty Jones brings a different style to Portland Wrestling, using a lot of unique submission holds and he is tying Samu into knots. Jones fast pace offence is too much for Samu, after a couple of European Upper Cuts and a Irish Whipping Samu into the corner, Jones follows him in and hits a monkey flip and covers Samu at 7:59 for the victory in his debut match here in Portland.

Don Coss and as always joined by Dutch Savage welcomes the fans to another hot week of wrestling action here in Portland. Tonight we have a huge main event; it’s an 17 man battle royal to determine the number one contender for the Pacific Northwest Wrestling Heavyweight Championship currently held by “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, the match will take place on 2nd of February. But that’s not all to look forward to, a week before that huge Heavyweight title match is the Frank Bonnema Memorial Six Man Tag Team Cup and we have two first round matches to announce later on in the show. At this time I would like to introduce the tag team of Brett Wayne and “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer. “Gentlemen you’ve had your problems as of late with Afa and Sika the Wild Samoans?” Buzz who is looking very serious “You sneak attacked my brother, you sneaked attacked me. But we got some measure of revenge when I hit you with my Running Power Slam and cost you your chance at the PNW Tag Team Titles, an eye for an eye. So now we have settled that with the Samoans we want to move on to something else, so as we weren’t entered into the Tag Title tournament a few weeks back, we would like to throw out a challenge to the Islanders to meet us on the 2nd February. We feel we are ready to take on the champions and take the titles.”

Samu has walked into the crow’s nest and has started to bad mouth the Sawyers and tells them that although they think they are done with the Wild Samoans, this isn’t the case for the Samoans. Then from behind the Sawyers, Afa and Sika attack the Sawyers and beat them down in the Crows nests using everything they can get their hands on to use. It’s a 3 on 2 brawl, Don Coss and Dutch Savage have got out of harm’s way as this attack continues. The Samoans attack continues and the pair have pulled some television cameras leads and wrapped them around the Sawyers throats and they are choking them. The locker room has emptied and the Samoans have backed off. Clearly this feud hasn’t ended, and no doubt the Sawyers will want revenge.

Match #1: First television match of the evening sees the debut of Barry Darsow against local talent Troy Martin . Darsow is around 6 foot 2 and close to 300 pounds. Although Darsow is a rookie and new to the business, he sure does look the business and looks like he takes no rubbish from anyone. As the bell rings, Troy Martin is pulling at the ropes stretching when Darsow just runs him over with a deadly cloths line. He picks him up, holds onto his head and hits some stiff forearms followed by a side Suplex. Troy is out, Darsow grabs Martin and tosses him from one side of the ring to the other, while all the time he has a big smile on his face. He comes of the ropes with a huge elbow drop, goes for the pin but lifts Martins head after a 1 count, he picks up the limp Martin and hits a devastating Back Breaker, stretches Martin over his knee before dropping him to the mat. Darsow covers Martin for the 3 count at 3:14. What an impressive debut by the big man.

Match #2: This match sees the Ken Wayne and Danny Davis, The Nightmares against the team if Doug Vines and Jeff Sword . Two teams that haven’t had the best time as of late in Portland, both teams have gone weeks without winning a match, so as both need this victory massively. The match starts at a fast pace with quick tags and competitive action as neither team wants to hang about; they both just want the victory. After about 7 minutes of solid action where neither team get the upper hand, Danny Davis surprises Jeff Sword with a quick roll and gets the 3 count at 7:23. The Nightmares first win in recent memory and the team of Sword and Vines still look for their win. They looked a lot better this week but couldn’t mount the attack that would win the match.

Before we gets to our next match as promised, he are the first two matches announce for bracket A of the Frank Bonnema Memorial Six Man Tag Team Cup. The First match sees.....

The PNW Tag Team Champions The Islanders and The Masked Superstar against the team of The Nightmares and The PNW Television Champion Gama Singh

This match can see the Nightmares get back into tag title picture if they could grab the win here, which wouldn’t hurt they claim for a title match in the future. Television Champion Gama Singh’s manager Great Mephisto has been courting the services of the Masked Superstar for several weeks now, to no success it must be said. This has the makings of a great first round match.

Wild Samoans and Samu against the Sheepherders and Jonathon Boyd

The Wild Samoans will be looking for some measure of revenge for the fact the Sheepherders got the Tag Title math a few weeks ago from them in the number 1 contender’s tournament final. Throw in Jonathon Boyd and Samu and we will have an explosive match that will be an all fight.

Match #3: The last match before the huge Battle Royal. The Masked Superstar versus Steve Gatorwolf . The very talented and skill Superstar takes early control of this match and never loses it. The match is very quick and Superstar gets the victory with his awesome Swinging Neck Breaker for the win at 4:23. Gatorwolf was no more than a spectator, another impressive display from the Masked Superstar. After the match much like last week, The Great Mephisto comes to the ring and grabs the microphone. “I’m going to put last week down to your shyness, well that’s why you wear a mask isn’t it? Anyway I’m going to offer you my services again as your manager, I’ve seen a lot of you in the last couple of weeks to know your be the perfect fit for the body guard position I have, which main duties will be to look out for Gama Singh. All you will need to do is make sure Singh doesn’t lose his Television Championship”. Superstar is just standing and starring at Mephisto, he turns and goes to walk away, “Don’t you walk away from me again, who do you think you are, no one walks away from me, no one.” Mephisto grabs Superstars arm, “Don’t walk away from me” Superstar who has one leg outside the ropes, grabs hold of Mephisto and pushes him away and leaves the ring. “Your regret this Superstar, your regret this I promise you” screams Mephisto as Superstar high fives the fans on his way out of the arena.

Now its time for the big main event, the Battle Royal for a PNW Heavyweight Championship Match. The Wrestlers involved are....

All 17 men start in the ring, and the Battle Royal begins, with all 18 men going for the one another, The Guerreros have gone straight to the Destroyers and all four men are brawling for the first time on an even pitch. Borne has his hands on Oliver and they are battling around the ring. Don Muraco is being very cagey and not getting too involved in the action. Billy Jack Haynes has gone straight for Buddy Rose but Rose’s loose alliance with Jonathon Boyd has stop Haynes getting his hands on Rose, again might I add, as Boyd is standing in between Haynes and Rose. Gama Singh like the coward champion he is has gone for the inexperienced Art Crews as his target but Buck Zumhoffe has taken offence to this and has give Crews a helping hand and has attacked Singh. The Sheepherders have only one team on their minds and that’s the PNW Tag Team Champions the Islanders, as these to teams brawl.

The first couple of eliminations happen in quick succession, the Guerreros and the Super Destroyers are brawling with each other in the corner of the ring. Destroyer #1 chargers at Mando in the corner and Mando ducks and flips him over the top rope and onto the apron, when Destroyer #2 follows him into the corner, Mando ducks again and Destroyer #2 continues to charge right into the corner, into his partner and knocks him from the apron to the floor for the first elimination at 3:45. Mando and Hector high five and then double clothesline Destroyer #2 over the top rope at 4:02. So within 30 second of each other both the Ds have eliminated each other though they own miscommunication. The D’s are not amused on the floor.

While on the other side of the ring Gama Singh has the advantage over Art Crews and Buck Zumhoffe when he scoops Crews over the top rope to the floor at 4:43 . Buck Zumhoffe has jumped on Singh back and is beating down on the Television Champion, Buck takes a couple of steps back and runs at Singh, but Singh drops to the mat holding the top rope and Zumhoffe flies straight over the top to the floor art 5:05. Singh is posing in the ring to the fans and Matt Borne grabs him by the head and tosses him to the outside on to the floor at 5:34 . Borne came out of nowhere for that elimination.

Boyd has he work cut out for him as Rose is still using him as a shield until Boyd gains a tiniest of advantage and Rose closes in and starts his attack its now 2 on 1 and Haynes is taking a beating. Don Muraco is still staying out of the way until the Guerreros notice him and close in on him. Until form the outside of the ring The Super Destroyers have climbed back into the ring and attack the Guerreros and thrown both Guerreros from the ring at 6:02 , before they could get their hands on “The Rock”. The Guerreros and the Destroyers are brawling thought the crowd to the changing rooms with the referees trying to separate them. Muraco has joined in on the beat down of Billy Jack Haynes with Buddy Rose and Jonathon Boyd. Matt Borne and Rip Oliver have renewed their battle.

So reminding are The Sheepherders, The Islanders, Don Muraco, Matt Borne, Rip Oliver, Jonathon Boyd, Buddy Rose, Billy Jack Haynes. The Herders and the Islanders continue to battle when Butch Miller is eliminated when King Tonga hits him with a thrust kick to knock him over the top rope at 8:56. Boyd has left Muraco and Rose, who will team in two weeks with NWA World Champion Harley Race, holding both of Billy Jack Haynes legs and trying to get him over the top rope. Boyd has gone to help his fellow country man Luke Williams who has all of his efforts tied up with the Islanders.

Matt Borne has Rip Oliver across the top rope in the corner trying to get him over but Oliver rips at Borne’s eyes and relives the pressure of him being tossed out. We are now at the ten minute mark, as it stands Don Muraco and Buddy Rose are beating down on Billy Jack Haynes, Jonathon Boyd and Luke Williams are brawling with the Islanders, Rip Oliver and Matt Borne are tearing into each other. Boyd and Luke have got the upper hand and Williams is holds Tonga down in the corner with his foot on Tonga’s throat. Boyd and Williams concentrates their efforts on getting Sivi Afi out but Afi is putting up a fight and is getting the upper hand until Luke Williams drops to his knees and low blows Sivi Afi and Boyd tosses him over the top rope at 12:56. and they go straight back to King Tonga on the mat.

Borne and Oliver are jockeying for position as they both are in dangerous position. Borne has both of Oliver’s legs in the air but Oliver won’t let go, Borne goes to dump Oliver over but Rip grabs hold of the ropes at the last seconds, he is hanging on tight, Borne takes a step back and launches a dropkick into the hanging Oliver and Rip drops to the floor at 15:25 Boyd sees his chance and runs at Borne but Borne is too clever for that as he dodges the charging Boyd and grabs his head and tosses him from the ring at 16:01 . Borne now goes to help Billy Jack Haynes who has his work cut out with both Buddy Rose and Don Muraco.

Down to 6 and we are closing in on the 20 minute mark and the wrestlers are starting to look tired. King Tonga was just eliminated by a clothes line from Luke Williams , from out of the blue at 18:23. Down to the final five and it’s turned into Luke Williams, Buddy Rose and Don Muraco on one side of the ring and the beaten down Billy Jack Haynes and Matt Borne, who has been on fire, on the other side. Luke Williams goes straight for Matt Borne while Rose and Muraco look to restart there attack on Haynes. But Haynes isn’t standing for it anymore and has found his second wind and is taking it to Muraco and Rose, he’s knocked Muraco to the mat and he backs off. Haynes is unleashing finally on Buddy Rose. Rose doesn’t know where to stand or go, Haynes scoops him up and goes to throw him over the top rope but Rose is holding onto the top rope. Muraco sneaks up behind the two and lifts Haynes by the legs and tips him over the top rope to the floor and Haynes is eliminated at the 22:12 mark .Rose rolls back into the ring under the bottom rope. While on the other side of the ring Matt Borne has dumped Luke Williams over the top rope at 22:20.

And so there were three, Rose, Muraco and Borne. Rose and Muraco have worked well together all night and it looks like it will continue. Rose and Muraco are circling Borne. Matt Borne has nothing to lose so he flies at Rose and lumps him with a couple of rights and lefts, turns around stomps Muraco in the gut. Maybe Borne can do it, he’s fighting off both men, he hit’s a Belly To Belly Suplex on Muraco. Borne gets up to his feet and has Rose in the corner and he is pounding on him, Muraco comes behind him with a double axe handle, but Borne ducks and “The Rock” hits Rose. Borne grabs Muraco and hits a German Suplex, the crowd are going wild. He hits a running splash on Rose in the corner and “Playboy” stumbles out andBorne has him by the hair and tosses him out to the floor at 25:57. We are down to the final two.

Arena Matches before Live Broadcast


Match #1: Marty Jones against Steve Gatorwolf with a ten minute limit. Marty Jones made a successful debut last week as he defeated Samu. Bringing a European style to Portland Wrestling and the fans are certainly enjoying the style change. A very fast paced match to start the evening and Jones has far too much class for Gatorwolf and he gets the win at 6:12 with a backslide for the 3 count.

Match #2: The Portland sports arena is starting fill up in preparation for the live TV taping. The next match sees Rip Oliver against Buck Zumhoffe . This starts off a very competitive match with Buck getting in some near falls. Oliver isn’t taking to the fast pace attack of Zumhoffe and slows him down with some stiff kicks and fists to the mid section, Oliver hits a short armed clothes line then hits a Piledriver and get s the win at 7:38.

Match #3: A rematch from last week’s pre show, as The Nightmares take on Doug Vines and Jeff Sword . Vines and Sword will be looking revenge after last week’s defeat. The match starts very open with Vines and Sword having the early advantage. They’re looking a lot more like a team this week. The Nightmares look like after last week’s win they have built in confidents. The match is really starting to flow when from the back Brett Wayne and Buzz Sawyer storm the ring and attack both teams and kick them out of the ring. The Sawyers look hot, and I bet they’ve only one thing on their minds. The Sawyers are standing in the ring just waiting.

As we start the program we go straight to the ring as Brett Wayne and Buzz Sawyer are standing in the centre of the ring. “Samoans get out here now” screams Buzz. “This has to end tonight, Sawyers versus Samoans, what do you guys think?” The crowds pop to the thought of seeing these two teams go at it. The tension has been building for weeks and weeks. The Sawyers have come here to fight but the Samoans are nowhere to be seen. The Sawyers realise the Samoans aren’t going to make their way to the ring so there leave the ring and go to the back to look for the Samoans one would assume who we believe aren’t in the building tonight.

We go up to the crow’s nest to be welcomed to this week’s television show. Don Coss and Dutch Savage are your hosts and run down this evening show, with the main event being Buddy Rose against Matt Borne, also Billy Jack Haynes will be in action and much much more. Savage and Coss recap last week’s closing moments in the Battle Royal ...

So it’s been announced that in two weeks the PNW Heavyweight Championship will be on the line as “Rowdy” Roddy Piper will defend his title against the new number one contender “The Rock” Don Muraco. That one is going to be a knock down drag out affair. But we must give special mention to Matt Borne, who showed so much guts and passion in the royal last week. Also on tonight’s show will announce the second half of the brackets for the Frank Bonnema Memorial Cup next week. Let’s go to the ring for our opening contest.

Match #1: See the rookie Barry Darsow who made his impressive debut last week on television, he faces the young wrestler Art Crews. Much like last week Darsow doesn’t hang around and streams rolls though his opponent. He tosses Crews about like a rag doll, showing no concern for the wellbeing of his opponent. After several stiff cloths lines Darsow picks up Crews and hits a deadly Back Breaker and covers Crews for the win at 4:12.

Match #2: Sees Billy Jack Haynes facing Steve Gatorwolf.Haynes took quite a beating in the royal last week but he seems back on form this week. Haynes is in control for nearly the entire match, and gets the win with the Full Nelson at 5:34. After the match Haynes makes his way to the crow’s nest and has an interview with Don Coss and Dutch Savage. He states his intend to deal with Buddy Rose sooner rather than later. He talks about how he waited and waited to get his hands on Rose and finally last week he had his chance and Muraco and Boyd got in his way. But now he’s sending out an challenge to Buddy Rose to face him in a Portland Street Fight, come as you are style. Let’s see how tough you are when there’s no rules.

That star studded team meet 3 men that are really on fire at the moment in Portland as of late in “Mad Dog” Buzz and Brett Wayne Sawyer and the man that pushed Muraco to the limit in the battle royal Matt Borne.

Andre the Giant, Billy Jack Haynes and returning Portland Northwest Heavyweight Champion ”Rowdy” Roddy Piper against the team Rip Oliver and the Super Destroyers.

The Super Destroyers have been making quite an impact since coming to Portland especially when it comes to the Guerreros. When you put them with Rip Oliver who has been destroying people himself, this team are true destroyers. But opposed to them are the 8th Wonder of the World Andre the Giant and he is teaming with Billy Jack Haynes and Pacific Northwest Wrestling Heavyweight champion “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, a team of true talent.

Match #3: We back from the break with The Masked Superstar against Troy Martin. Superstar continuing his rich reign in form finishes of Martin in less than 4 minutes when he hits his Swinging Neck Breaker for the win. Much like last week Great Mephisto is out to offer The Masked Superstar a position in his stable. Once again Superstar refuses Mephisto offer to become PNW Television Champion Gama Singh body guard. Mephisto is not so pushy this week after being pushed from Superstar last week. Superstar goes to leave the ring and Gama Singh has crawled out from under the ring and attacks Superstar as his back is turned and beats him with the Television title belt. After several blows to the back, the Masked Superstar is down on all fours. Singh has got into the ring and he and Great Mephisto laughing at what they have just done. Superstar is struggling to get and he has crawl into the ring and Gama Singh attacks him again. Superstar is trying to make it to his feet as both Mephisto and Singh take shots at him. Before Superstar can get to his feet to fight off this attack, Singh and Mephisto head to the hills to retreat.

Match #4: Sees the PNW Tag Team Champions The Islanders Sivi Afi and King Tonga against The Guerreros brothers Mando and Hector in a non title contest. The match starts very slowly as these fan favourites feel each other out. King Tonga and Hector are performing some nice chain wrestling but neither team is getting an advantage in this non title match. From the back the Sheepherders have come out to watch the match from ringside. The Sheepherders have been having some problems with the champs as of late in the Islanders. This must be no more than a distraction ploy from the Sheepherders. On the other side of the arena Percy Pringle and the Super Destroyers have come out also. We don’t need to tell you fan’s at home the problems between the Super Ds and the Guerreros. The match is starting to flow a lot more after about 10 minutes of action with teams starting to wear, when the Sheepherders and Destroyers have seen enough of the action and both teams run towards the ring and attack the two teams in the ring. Now a 4 team brawl has broken out in the Portland Sport Arena with the Ds, Islanders, The Guerreros and Sheepherders, security and wrestlers from the changing rooms have come out to break up the 4 team brawl. The television program goes to a commercial break while the ring arena is cleared of the wrestlers.

Match #5: The main event of the evening sees Matt Borne against “Playboy” Buddy Rose . I wonder if we will hear from Rose in reference to Billy Jack’s challenge. Matt Borne is coming of his star making performance last week in the royal. This is a very competitive TV match where the advantage is going back and forth between the two men. Borne is looking to build on his momentum coming from last week. He has got the fans behind him. After about 10 minutes of action Borne has taken control and is taking this bout to the Rose and the “Playboy” is all over the place. Borne looks like he is going in for the finish. Borne Irish whips Rose into the corner and follows him and hits a clothes line. Rose stumbles out of the corners knocks into the referee who stumbles into the ropes, Borne grabs Rose, but Rose kick Borne in the never regions and Borne falls back. The referee missed that and Rose rolls up Borne and has both his legs on the ropes for leverage for the 3 count and the win at 13:59. Rose celebrates like he’s won the World title. Borne is appealing to the referee then turns his attention to Rose, but Rose is out of there fast. Looks like he won’t be answering Hayne’s challenge.

We are back the advert break with the number one contender to the PNW Heavyweight Championship Don Muraco in the ring with a microphone. He is looking very confident and cocky. He finally has after weeks and weeks of making statements, got what he wants a one on one match with “Rowdy” Roddy Piper in 2 weeks.

“After weeks and weeks of trying to get my voice and actions heard, finally I have my title match. Finally I have Piper one on one. It took weeks of me dressing like Santa Claus, kicking midgets dressed as Piper, beating on the young stars. You Don Owen have ignored me; you refuse to acknowledge my actions. You Don Coss, you Dutch Savage refuse to call me the real heavyweight champion, you refuse to show my domination on telly. And look what happens. People get hurt. Well now no one can ignore me, because last week on television I won a gruelling battle royal to become the number one contender. And now announcers, people in the office and you the fans can’t ignore me. And in two weeks, Piper you won’t be able to ignore me, as ill be taking your title from you and Ill will relieve you of your duties. But Roddy we don’t have to wrestle, you can just do everyone a favour and hand me the title instead, it’ll be easier for all involved. Piper you time is up, time to go back to Scotland, the era of the “Rock” is upon us, I’ll be the fans champion, and I’ll be a fighting champion.”

At this point young a member of staff from the building runs to the ring and goes to whisper something in Muraco ear. Muraco stops him and says he knows what he’s going to say. Muraco tells the youngster that “We are all friends here and you can share this news with the crowd”. Barr gingerly talks into the microphone, “Roddy Piper has just walked into the arena” The crowd go mental at this news. But susprisely Muraco doesn’t. “Okay bring him out here, I’m going to be a fighting champion. Go on young man go back and get him to come out here”. The young member of staff runs off to the back.

The some commotion in the entrance way to the arena, the fans are going wild at the prospect of Roddy Piper. And out walks Little Piper, the same midget from two weeks ago. The crowd are livid. Muraco is laughing in the ring. “You stupid fans, you think Piper is that stupid he would come here and fight me when he’s not 100%. Ah ha ha. Come on little fella get in the ring.” The midget wrestler dressed like Piper again. Don Coss and Dutch Savage are livid much likes the fans. Coss angrily shout “Cut the camera, finish the show 5 minutes early rather than have this embarrassment in the ring again.” Muraco and Little are joking about in the ring “You idiotic fans, you’d fall for anything. Me and Little P have been friends for years; he’d happily take a kick or two in the face for me”.

The ring announcer gets in the house mic and thanks the fans for coming to see Portland Wrestling live and to have a safe journey home. While in the Crows nest Don Coss is wrapping up the show, still mad at the scenes in the ring again. “I tell you fans something, it’s going to be a cold day in hell when Piper does return”. While we leave with the picture of Muraco and Little Piper in the ring laughing and joking as the fans start to file out.

“WAITTTTTT” screams Don Coss. There’s some movement coming from the changing rooms’ entrance. “Don’t go yet, stay on the air” The fans are going wild, Coss confused because he can’t see what’s happening. The fans have erupted. There seems to be a parting in the departing fans. Coss is shouting into the headset “get a camera down there”. Something is happening.” The crowd part and its........

“ROWDY” RODDY PIPER, he is here. Piper has returned and he is slowing stalking to the ring in his street clothes, wrapping his fists with tape, with a look of tunnel vision as there’s only one thing in his mind and in his eyes. Muraco hasn’t noticed yet. The crowd are going nuts in the Portland Sports arena no one is leaving now. Don Coss is pleading to stay on the air. Little Piper sees him and gets out of the ring. Muraco is still unaware of Piper. Piper gets into the ring and Muraco starts to realise something is happening. He slowly turns around. And his face drops. Piper has come to fight.

Time is up on the television show as it fades to black with Piper starring at Muraco and Muraco looking like he’s seen a ghost.

Piper arms spread out and he raises them...... And explodes with rights and lefts, holding one ear with his left hand and jabbing with his right and swapping hands when needed. He isn’t stopping, Muraco is doesn’t know what’s happening, he wasn’t expecting this, and can’t defend the onslaught. Muraco falls to the mat and Piper is on top of him striking him, Muraco is trying to get his hands up to block but it isn’t working. Piper jumps up takes his top of and throws it at Muraco as he tries to get to his feet. Piper flies at him again with left and rights, he isn’t looking to wrestle Muraco but hurt Muraco, Muraco is bleeding from the beating. The locker room has emptied trying to split these to up. They have managed to pull Piper of Don Muraco. And get Muraco out of the ring. Piper has broken free and is standing on the middle rope and pointing at Muraco on the floor. The wrestlers surrounding Muraco have managed to get him back to the back. Piper is still hot in the ring.......

Frank Bonnema Memorial Six Man Cup

First Round

The PNW Tag Team Champions the Islanders and The Masked Superstar against the team of The Nightmares and The PNW Television Champion Gama Singh

The tournament kicks off with two teams featuring three Portland champions in it. The match takes a little while to get going, Gama Singh is trying his hardest to stay well out of the way of The Masked Superstar after last week’s attack on television. So for the time being Danny Davis and Ken Wayne are the two members of their team fighting, against the very accomplished team of King Tonga, Sivi Afi and The Masked Superstar. Superstar is dying to get his hands on the Television champion but Gama Singh is having none of it. The Nightmares are taking a hell of a beating now from the opposing team and they are looking for the tag but Gama Singh just drops to the floor and walks to the back with his manager Great Mephisto, away from his team mates as he wants nothing to do with The Masked Superstar. Finally the Nightmares can’t take anymore. A Thrust Kick from King Tonga into Masked Superstar hitting a Swinging Neckbreaker for the victory at 10:32.

Wild Samoans and Samu against the Sheepherders and Jonathan Boyd

The second match of the evening sees two teams that love to brawl and this match is no different. This starts off with all six men brawling in the ring. The Sheepherders and Wild Samoans have crossed paths a few times in the last couple of weeks so there’s no love lost here. The referee Sandy Barr is trying to get control of this match but it’s a very hard chore. Finally Barr gains some control and Samu and Boyd are in the ring and Boyd is trying to isolate the youngster Samu in the corner and its working for the time being, Samu is taking a beating. Both The Sheepherders and the Samoans would love to prove themselves in the next round against the PNW Tag Team Champions the Islanders. After a few quick tags from the New Zealanders and Boyd the Samoans have seen enough and have come into the ring and a 6 man brawl breaks out. The Samoans have gained the upper hand and destroyed the legal man Luke Williams with two Samoan Drops from Afa. Barr has got both the Samoans and Boyd and Butch Miller to the outside leaving Williams and Samu in the ring. Williams is down on the mat and both Afa and Sika have they hands out looking for the tag to finish of Williams, but Samu goes for the win himself even though he has taken a beating from the 2 New Zealanders and Boyd. Samu has climbed to the top rope for a Samoan Splash, he only has victory in his sights, he poses for the fans, he leaps but Williams moves and Samu crashes to the mat, Williams tags in Butch Miller. Miller picks up Samu hits a Gut Buster and covers for the win at 12:56. The Sheepherders and Jonathan progress to the semi finals. In the ring The Wild Samoans are livid and Samu is trying to apologize but Afa and Sika don’t want to know. They turn their back on the young Samoan. Samu grabs hold of Afa shoulder and Afa turns and cracks him with a stiff left hand. Afa and Sika are beating down on the younger Samoan both hitting a double head butt on Samu for costing them the chance to progress in the tournament. They tell Samu not to bother showing up next week.

Buzz and Brett Wayne Sawyer and Matt Borne against the team of NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race, Don Muraco and “Playboy” Buddy Rose

This match sees the return to the Portland arena of the World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race, teaming with the number one contender to the PNW Heavyweight Championship Don Muraco and “Playboy” Buddy Rose. Race starts out against the man who has been on a hot streak as of late in Matt Borne. Borne has taken both Rose and Muraco to the limit in the last couple and now it’s his chance to take it to the world champion. Harley Race is a wrestler who makes very few mistakes and tonight is no different. After some early exchanges between Borne and Race, where Borne gets the upper hands on a couple of occasion in the early exchanges but Race is too much for him and he tags out to Buzz. Buzz tries to match power with power with the champ; Race comes out on top and tags out to Muraco. After about five minutes of more action its Muraco and Borne in the ring and Borne is getting the upper hand on the number one contender and Borne hits a Belly to Back Suplex and goes for the cover, Muraco is life less on the mat 1.....2......., Rose rushes in and breaks up the fall by kicking at Borne, both the Sawyers run into the ring to get rid of Buddy Rose and as this happens Harley Race comes of the top rope with a flying knee drop on the back of Matt Borne's neck and rolls Muraco onto Borne and the referee turns around and counts the three count at 11:13, and the team of Race, Muraco and Rose go into the next round. But the real story here is, again this week, Borne takes a big name to the limit and has him beat and he is cheated out of the victory.

Andre the Giant, Billy Jack Haynes and returning Portland Northwest Heavyweight Champion ”Rowdy” Roddy Piper against the team of Rip Oliver and the Super Destroyers.

The crowd are going wild for this team of Andre, Piper and Haynes. Piper who made his long awaited return to television starts of the match against Rip Oliver. Piper is still showing the affects of his beating from Xmas day. He is also showing ring rust and the team of The Super Ds and Oliver have cornered the PNW Heavyweight Champion and are making quick tags and taking the fight to the champ who is not quite 100% Piper. After about four to five minutes of action Piper mounts a comeback and has come out fighting and makes a hot tag to Billy Jack Haynes. Haynes has come straight out of the blocks and is cleaning house. All three men are on the ring now fighting with the hot Haynes. He tags out to Andre the Giant who gets a huge ovation. The 8th Wonder of the world cleans house clothes lining both the Super Ds out of the ring where Piper and Haynes take the fight to them on the outside, leaving Oliver in the ring with the Giant. Oliver runs against the rope and Andre grabs his head with one hand and hits a massive head butt which puts Oliver to the floor, Andre then just drops and sits on Oliver and gets the 3 count at 8:34 and Andre, Haynes and Piper advance to the semi finals to face Harley Race, Don Muraco and “Playboy” Buddy Rose.

A 30 minute intermission happens in the arena as the television show starts....

Don Coss and Dutch Savage welcome the fans at home to the Frank Bonnema Memorial Six Man Tag Team Cup. Don Coss and Dutch Savage announce with the help of the fans at home and here tonight in the Portland Sports Arena, we together have managed to raise almost five thousand dollars for the Bonnema family. Onto the events that we left you with last week, with the return of PNW Heavyweight Champion “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, here is the footage from the ending of last week’s television and also the aftermath of the show which you the fans at home missed.

The ring announcer gets in the house mic and thanks the fans for coming to see Portland Wrestling live and to have a safe journey home. While in the Crows nest Don Coss is wrapping up the show, still mad at the scenes in the ring again. “I tell you fans something, it’s going to be a cold day in hell when Piper does return”. While we leave with the picture of Muraco and Little Piper in the ring laughing and joking as the fans start to file out.

“WAITTTTTT” screams Don Coss. There’s some movement coming from the changing rooms’ entrance. “Don’t go yet, stay on the air” The fans are going wild, Coss confused because he can’t see what’s happening. The fans have erupted. There seems to be a parting in the departing fans. Coss is shouting into the headset “get a camera down there”. Something is happening.” The crowd part and it’s........

“ROWDY” RODDY PIPER, he is here. Piper has returned and he is slowing stalking to the ring in his street clothes, wrapping his fists with tape, with a look of tunnel vision as there’s only one thing in his mind and in his eyes. Muraco hasn’t noticed yet. The crowd are going nuts in the Portland Sports arena no one is leaving now. Don Coss is pleading to stay on the air. Little Piper sees him and gets out of the ring. Muraco is still unaware of Piper. Piper gets into the ring and Muraco starts to realise something is happening. He slowly turns around. And his face drops. Piper has come to fight.

Time is up on the television show as it fades to black with Piper starring at Muraco and Muraco looking like he’s seen a ghost.

AFTER THE SHOW WENT OF THE AIR

Piper arms spread out and he raises them...... And Piper explodes with rights and lefts, holding one ear with his left hand and jabbing with his right and swapping hands when needed. He isn’t stopping, Muraco is doesn’t know what’s happening, he wasn’t expecting this, and can’t defend the onslaught. Muraco falls to the mat and Piper is on top of him striking him, Muraco is trying to get his hands up to block but it isn’t working. Piper jumps up takes his top of and throws it at Muraco as he tries to get to his feet. Piper flies at him again with left and rights, he isn’t looking to wrestle Muraco but hurt Muraco, Muraco is bleeding from the beating. The locker room has emptied trying to split these to up. They have managed to pull Piper of Don Muraco. And get Muraco out of the ring. Piper has broken free and is standing on the middle rope and pointing at Muraco on the floor. The wrestlers surrounding Muraco have managed to get him back to the back. Piper is still hot in the ring.......

This really sets the stage for next week’s Pacific Northwest Heavyweight title match bet champion “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and the number one contender “The Rock” Don Muraco. Piper who isn’t quite a 100 % will be in for the fight of his life.

The PNW Tag Team Champions the Islanders and The Masked Superstar against the team of The Nightmares and The PNW Television Champion Gama Singh


The Nightmares are taking a hell of a beating now from the opposing team and they are looking for the tag but Gama Singh just drops to the floor and walks to the back with his manager Great Mephisto away from his team mates as he wants nothing to do with The Masked Superstar. Finally the Nightmares can’t take anymore and after a Thrush Kick from King Tonga into Masked Superstar hitting a Swinging Neckbreaker for the victory at 10:32.


Wild Samoans and Samu against the Sheepherders and Jonathan Boyd


The Samoans have gained the upper hand and destroyer the legal man Luke Williams with two Samoan Drops from Afa. Barr has got both the Samoans and Boyd and Butch Miller to the outside leaving Williams and Samu in the ring. Williams in down on the mat and both Afa and Sika have they hands out looking for the tag to finish of Williams, but Samu goes for the win himself even though he has taken a beating from the 2 New Zealanders and Boyd. Samu has climbed to the top rope for a Samoan Splash he only has victory in his sights, he poses for the fans, he leaps but Williams moves and Samu crashes to the mat, Williams tags in Butch Miller. Miller picks up Samu hits a Gut Buster and covers for the win at 12:56. The Sheepherders and Jonathon progress to the semi finals. In the ring The Wild Samoans are livid and Samu is trying to apologize but Afa and Sika don’t want to know. They turn their backs on the young Samoan. Samu grabs hold of Afa shoulder and Afa turns and cracks him with a stiff left hand. Afa and Sika are beating down on the younger Samoan both hitting a double head butt on Samu for costing them the chance to progress in the tournament. They tell Samu not to bother showing up next week.

Semi Finals

The PNW Tag Team Champions the Islanders and The Masked Superstar against the team of the Sheepherders and Jonathon Boyd

If the Sheepherders can get a win here then they will be right back in the title picture. The Islanders will be out for revenge for the attack that happened last week on television during their match against the Guerreros. The Superstar starts of the match against Butch Miller; the match starts of slowly as neither team wants to burn out early as they may have one more match in tonight. Both teams are using quick tags to keep things fresh and this also means neither team is gaining an advance. After several minutes of cagey wrestling from both teams King Tonga explodes with a fury of chops, head butts and kicks on Williams. Butch Miller and Sivi Afi are both in the ring now and the Islanders and Sheepherders are picking up from where they left off last week and are both brawling on the arena floor. While the Masked Superstar and Jonathan Boyd battle it out in the ring. Superstar proves too much for Boyd and Superstar gets the win after a Swinging Neckbreaker for the three counts at 12:27 for the win and advancement to the finals of the Frank Bonnema Memorial Cup. But it’s safe to say that the issue between the Sheepherders and the tag champs the Islanders isn’t over...

Andre the Giant, Billy Jack Haynes and the Portland Northwest Heavyweight Champion ”Rowdy” Roddy Piper against the team of NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race, Don Muraco and “Playboy” Buddy Rose

There’s a lot of tension in this match, will Billy Jack Haynes finally get his hands on “Playboy” Buddy Rose? Can Roddy Piper contain himself long enough to get in the ring with Don Muraco, throw in the 8th Wonder of The World and the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race, this stands to be a hell of a fight. Piper is going to start the match for his team, as he stands and just stares at Don Muraco, but it’s not Muraco that starts for his team it’s the World Champion Harley Race. Piper walks up to the champ and holds his hand out in respect of the champion. Race just slaps him and the two champions start brawling in the ring, back and forth forearms and punches. Neither gains the advantage until Race knees Piper in the gut, then pulls him in for a side headlock and gives him some stiff punches to his head, Piper lifts Race and drops him to his back and Race rolls over to his corner and tags in Buddy Rose, and the crowd rise to their feet, these two men had quite the feud in the beginning part of last year with Piper taking the title from Rose. Piper walks over to Rose slaps him across the face and tags in Billy Jack Haynes. Haynes steps into the ring and the crowd erupt; they've been waiting for Rose and Haynes to meet evenly one on one. Haynes charges toward Rose and unleashes on him. He is hitting Rose with hip tosses and power slams, Rose is reeling now and stumbles back and tags in Don Muraco. Muraco and Haynes trade some stiff shots and Muraco challenges Haynes to a test of strength. Muraco rises his hand; Haynes does the same but Muraco kicks him in the gut and hits a big Suplex. The advantage is now with Muraco who has dragged Haynes to the corner and Muraco and his two team mates are taking shots at Haynes. They isolate Haynes for a good couple of minutes until Rose makes a mistake and Haynes makes the tag to Andre. Andre is in and each of the opposing team are running at Andre only to be knocked back but head butts and clubbing hand chops. He tags in Piper, who goes straight for Muraco. He is giving Muraco the beating of his life, the other four men have paired off with each other, with Rose and Haynes battling and Andre and Race exchanging blows. Piper has slapped on a Sleeper on Muraco and “The Rock” is out. Sandy Barr raises his arm three times and drops it three times, Muraco is out. Piper, Haynes and Andre win at 15:19. But Piper won’t let go, Sandy Barr is trying to get him off, and so is Billy Jack Haynes and Andre. Piper is refusing to let go. Finally Haynes and Andre get Piper off Muraco, Rose and Race pull Muraco from the ring and carry him to the back. Sandy Barr is talking to the ring announcer and reverses the decision and awards the match to Harley Race, Buddy Rose and Don Muraco. Piper goes wild and starts kicking the ropes and throwing stuff around the ring side area and then he runs off back to changing rooms after Don Muraco...

In a non tournament match The Guerreros, Hector and Mando, Marty Jones and Buck Zumhoffe defeat Doug Vines, Jeff Sword, Steve Gatorwolf and Troy Martin in a very quick match when Hector pinned Troy Martin with a double under hook Suplex for the win at 7:56. Marty Jones and Buck Zumhoffe didn’t seem to work well together, maybe this is due to both men wanting to be the fore front of the emerging junior division in Portland Wrestling.

The Final of the Frank Bonnema Memorial Six Man Tag Team Cup

NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race, Don Muraco and “Playboy” Buddy Rose against the team off The PNW Tag Team Champions the Islanders and The Masked Superstar

Harley Race and Buddy Rose have returned to the ring and say that due to the actions of Roddy Piper in their semi final match, Don Muraco is in no condition to compete in this match. So we need a replacement, and we think we have found the ideal person in PNW Television Champion Gama Singh and his manager Great Mephisto. Gama Singh must be the freshes person in the ring as he didn’t even get into the ring earlier tonight and the 5 men in the match have all been involved in 2 matches prior. Masked Superstar starts off the match against “Playboy” Buddy Rose. Superstar is pointing at Gama Singh and is saying he will have to get in the ring at some point in the match and he will be waiting for him. This is really a star studded final. Both teams are giving it there all. Back and forth action, Gama Singh is avoiding Superstar like the plague. In the final moments of the match Harley Race comes of the top with a flying knee drop onto Sivi Afi and goes for the cover but King Tonga breaks it up. Rose then turns Tonga around and hits him with a Piledriver and rolls him out of the ring where Rose lays the boot in on the floor to Tonga. Race is laying the boot in on Sivi Afi when The Masked Superstar comes in to the ring starts to trade blows with the World Champion. Then from behind Superstar comes Gama Singh who hits a low blow when the referee back is turned checking on Rose and Tonga on the outside and Race pulls him in for a Piledriver and cover him and gets the win at 13:01 and your winners of the first annual Frank Bonnema Memorial Cup is NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race, “Playboy” Buddy Rose and Gama Singh. Gama Singh has the cup in his hand a celebrating like he’s gone though the entire night with the rest of his team, but in fact he has sat in the back doing nothing but avoiding Superstar and the crowd are showing there contempt to him. The Masked Superstar leaves with the Islander and they don’t look pleased with the result and how Gama Singh cheated them out of the cup. The show goes off the air with the 3 winners of the tournament celebrating.

In a one fall contest with a 15 minute time limit



First match of the evening sees Percival Pringle III Super Destroyers against the team of Danny Davis and Ken Wayne, The Nightmares. The Super Ds have had there problems as of late with the Guerrero’s but have been getting the upper hand, mainly due to using the three on two advance that having Pringle at ringside gives them. The fued started back on Christmas day, when Pringle offered his services to the Guerreros but they point blank refused. Later that night Pringle distracted the Guerreros in their tag team match costing them the chance to possible go onto face the tag team champions the Islanders, this lead the Guerreros chasing Pringle into the crows nest where they were meet and attacked by the Destroyers and this fued has only grown bigger and bigger in the pass couple of weeks. Back to the match and the Nightmares look like a different team this week and looking like they might get the victory. THe Nightmares are using a lot of quick tags and having the upper hand in this bout early on. The Nightmares have been too much for the Destroyers this week and the bout looks over when Ken Waynes hits a flying body press on D #1, but instead of covering the Destroyer on the mat he jumps up because Pervical Pringle has jumped up onto the apron, Wayne has gone over, while Danny Davis has run round to pull Pringle down. While this is happening Destroyer #2 has pulled Destroyer #1 out of the ring and switched places, Ken Wayne has missed this along with the referee and turns around to cover who he thinks is D#1 instead D #2 has caught him into a school boy roll up and got the 3 count from the referee at 10:07. The Nightmares are confused as to what happen as they had Destroyer #1 out.

In a one fall contest with a 10 minute time limit


Second match of the evening sees the man who has been on a roll as of late Matt Borne against youngster Art Crews. Borne who in recent weeks has beaten the Television Champion Gama Singh, taken Don Muraco to the limit in the number ones contenders battle royal and also had him beaten in the Frank Bonnema Cup semi final, and he nearly also beat Buddy Rose on TV a few weeks back. The one thing Borne has been missing is victories but that changed last week when he pinned Gama Singh. Tonight he carries on his winning ways by finishing off Crews very quickly indeed when he hits a Belly To Belly Suplex followed by a cover at 6:57 for the win. Borne was in control for the entire match and he is really making waves here in Portland. Next up for him will no doubt be Rip Oliver who has gone out of his way to attack Borne, but no doubt at some point he will want a Television title match for his pinful victory last week over Gama Singh.

The final match of the pre show this week sees Billy Jack Haynes against local talent Steve Gatorwolf. Haynes has been wanting to get his hands on Buddy Rose for weeks and weeks but Rose just puts road block after road block in front of him. Last week on television Haynes challenged Rose to a come as you Portland Street fight. He is of course still waiting for a response. Back to the action in the ring, Haynes makes Gatorwolf submit after just 4:30 for the victory. Haynes has walked over to the crows nest to meet Don Coss and Dutch Savage for the start of Portland Wrestling...

Don Coss and Dutch Savage welcome the fans to another action packed week of wrestling action here in Pacific Northwest Wrestling. This week we are joined by Billy Jack Haynes who requested some air time. Haynes talks about how “Rose claims he does stuff for all the local communtities including the Buddy Rose Wrestling Classes at the local High School which he spoke of a few weeks ago, but he wont give the fans what they really want and thats facing him in the ring one on one. For weeks Rose you have been putting road blocks in the way of fighting me and im fed up with it. In the battle royal you needed the help of Boyd and Muraco. In the Bonnema Cup you needed Harley Race and Don Muraco help, well your time is up, its time to fight me like a man. Dont dodge me anymore Rose, its time to PLAY BOY i want to go sooner rather than later.” Haynes leaves the crows nest as we go to the ring for the opening bout.....

In a one fall contest with a 10 minute time limit


The rookie Barry Darsow has made quite the impact in the last few weeks since his debut rolling over the younger wrestler in Portland. Tonight is no different, after he tosses college student Troy Martin around the ring for a couple of minutes which included some stiff clothes lines and a gorilla press slam he finishes him off with a Shoulder breaker which looks like it cut Martin in half right though the middle. Darsow gets the pinful victory at 5:34. After the match Darsow just tosses the helpless Martin over the top rope to the floor on the outside and he walks off back to the changing rooms.

Great Mephisto and the Television Champion Gama Singh, who brings the Frank Bonnema Cup with him, come to the ring and Mephisto grabs a microphone. “Well Portland fans its been quite a few weeks hasnt it? Did everyone see my man win the Frank Bomenna Cup almost single handedly 2 weeks ago? Did everyone see him retain his title last week? And who do you think you are Matt Borne placing you hands on me? Well? And who do you think you are Masked Superstar coming in and interfering with our friend Rip Oliver? Well as i feel Portland is becoming an unsafe place to work in i feel its only safe to bring in some reinforcements. Now i offered a position to Masked Superstar but he was stupid enough to decline. Well Portland wrestling fans, Im a announcing a new dawn in Portland, and with a new dawn must come some births and the first birth is the Karachi Vice. And before too long the Karachi family will be growing. And myself and Gama have found some very suitable talent for the Karachi Vice. This is the birth of the Karachi Vice here in Portland, and we want to take control and before too long we will.”

Marty Jones

In a one fall contest with a 10 minute time limit


This is a rematch from last weeks television program, where these two junior weights wanted to test each other and see who was the best junior in Pacific Notrthwest Wrestling. Buck got the win last week but mainly due to the fact a mystery man dressed in a sharp suit and sunglasses came to the ring and got into a little argument with Marty Jones. Zumhoffe saw the opportunity and rolled up Jones for the win. Jones will be out for revenge this week and will want to get back on track with a win here after a successful first couple of week in Pacific Northwest Wrestling. The match starts of very quickly with both men showing there speed in the ring. Much like last week this bout is an even one with neither gaining the upper hand. Some very good chain wrestling going on here, with Zumhoffe getting a near fall, Jones takes a step and re evaluate the match. Both men go back at it, when just like last week the same man comes to the ring and starts to watch from ringside. Jones has spotted him and has shouted at him telling him that he's not going distract him again this week. The man in suit just stands a watches. But this week Buck seems to take offence to this man on the outside. Jones gets the win after a sunset flip from the outside on the apron to the inside, Zumhoffe tried hold onto the middle rope to stop the momentum of Jones pulling him over, when the man on the outside jumps and upper cuts him and he falls back and Jones gets the three count at 8:56. Zumhoffe is irate, Jones doesn't know what happened, he's just happy he got the win. The man in the suit has disappeared into the crowd. Jones holds his hand out but Zumhoffe hesitates after what just happen. But he does and both shake each others hand and leave, but its clear, tension is building between the two of the junior weights but respect is there too.

We go to the crows nest where Don Coss and Dutch Savage are joined by Hector and Mando Guerrero who dont look best pleased. They talk about how they are fed up with the numbers game Pringle and his Destroyers are playing so they went back to El Paso, Texas during the week and they found some one who can even up the odds. They found some one with a wise old head on there shoulder. Also found some one who will keep Pringle in check. They say that when trouble in your professional life takes over and you dont know what to do, what do you do? You turn to family, and thats what we did, we turned to the head of the family, we turned to our Father Gory Guerrero....


Gory Guerrero walks out to the crows nest and hugs both of his sons. He says he is honored to be asked to manage his sons, he thinks both his sons are capable of being champions here in Portland and he wants to lead them to glory. But to do that he knows they need to end their feud with the Destroyers and he is determined to do so. And the best way he can help is by leveling the playing field for his sons. The crowd react well to the debut of Lucha great Gory Guerrero.

As the Guerreros walk of one third of the Frank Bonnema Memorial Cup winners “Playboy” Buddy Rose walks into the nest. “Good evening gentlemen, how are we? Now i know theirs been some sort of challenge made by Billy Jack Haynes. A Street fight no less, well im here to tell you Billy Jerk Haynes, Im not a fighter im a wrestler, i wrestle, thats what i do, so i decline your offer to fight me? I don't fight i wrestle, end of it. Goodbye children”. Rose walks off, while Coss and Savage discuss the to interviews that have just taken place. They say that Pacific Northwest Wrestling is honor to welcome Gory Guerrero to its promotion. They also talk over how many more excuses Buddy Rose will come out with to avoid facing Billy Jack Haynes?

The Sawyers and the Islander find themselves on the same time compared to opposing each other like last week. The reason for the Islanders and the Sawyer to be teaming comes down to the finish of the PNW Tag Team Title match last week when the Wild Samoans cost the Sawyers a possible win. But the Islander didnt know of the attack from Afa and Sika. The Islanders have promised the Sawyers a rematch somewhere down the line. The match starts of very quick with King Tonga and Butch Miller. After several minutes of solid action the heels have been using under handed tactics to gain an advantage. The Samoans are trying their hardest to stay clear of the Sawyers including taunting them from the opposite corner. Before too long Buzz and Brett Wayne have had enough of the seeing the Samoans and have ran across the ring and attacked the Samoans and they are brawling on the floor with Afa and Sika. The locker room has emptied to restore order on the outside. The referees and trainers from the back have managed to get the Sawyers and Samoans away from each other and to the back. While in the ring both the Sheepherders and the Islanders are in the ring brawling, Butch and Tonga have brawled to the outside, when Luke Williams removes one of the turnbuckle pads to expose the steel buckle holding th ring ropes up, and rammed Sivi Afi's head into the post which has busted him open. Sandy Barr misses this and Williams scores the three count shortly after Afi hitting his head on the exposed turnbuckle. The Sheepherders have just pinned the Pacific Northwest Tag Team champions.

The Masked Superstar

“Crippler” Rip Oliver
In a one fall contest with a 20 minute time limit


First time meeting here in Portland for Superstar and Oliver. Rip Oliver who is living up to his name as the Crippler lately in Portland as he has been hurting a lot of people, Matt Borne has take this personally and has helped out some of the younger talent that have crossed paths with Oliver. Last week on television after Matt Borne had beaten Gama Singh he was brutally attacked by Oliver in the aisle, only to be chased off by his opponent tonight The Masked Superstar. The match starts of with Superstar going after Oliver but Oliver wants no part of the action. Oliver is jaw jacking woth some of the fans in the front row. Both men lock up finally and Oliver drives a knee into the gut of Superstar and has taken the early lead. Rip Oliver is using a lot of rest holds to wear down Superstar and it is working. He is using the ropes for leverage when ever he can. He has Superstar in a head lock on the the mat when Superstars finds a second wind and starts to power up. Superstar is back on his feet and lifts Oliver and drops him on his back, and Superstar is up and hitting clothes lines followed but power slams and he has the “Crippler” on the rack. Superstar is fully in control here, Oliver is all over the place. Superstar hits his famous Superstar Swinging Neckbreaker, and goes for the cover when from the back Gama Singh comes in to the ring and attacks Superstar with the Frank Bonnema Cup and he is going to town on him. Great Mephisto is on the outside cheering him on holding the Television title belt. Now both Rip Oliver and Gama Singh are laying in the boot, until from the back its............ MATT BORNE. He flies past Great Mephisto and into the ring and he is cleaning house. He repaying the favor from last week to the Masked Superstar. Both the Masked Superstar and Matt Borne stand back to back in the ring with their fists up looking for a fight. Borne grabs the microphone and informs the fans that he has just heard from Don Owen, the president of Pacific Northwest Wrestling, that next week in the Portland Sport Arena and live on television that a number one contenders match for the Television Title will take place between me and you, Masked Superstar. The crowd pops for this, both Borne and Superstar look at each other and show mutual respect for each other and shake hands. But Gama Singh and Great Mephisto don't look too impressed, Rip Oliver is standing next to them holding his neck. Thats a hell of a main event next week on television...

We are back for the final part of the show and myself Don Coss and my broadcast partner Dutch Savage would like to be joined by Don Muraco at this time. Before we talk to you about the what you want requested to talk to us about heres the final moments of the PNW Heavyweight Title match from last week....

QUOTE
Piper looks up in agony with blood pouring from his head. Muraco picks up Piper and hits a deadly Shoulder Breaker and goes for the fall, but Piper kicks out again. Piper is up and he and Muraco are standing head to head in the ring. Piper unleashes a fury of jabs and is not letting up, Muraco has stumbled back into the corner and Sandy Bar is trying to pull Piper off, but like last week, Piper won’t let up. Sandy Barr grabs hold of Piper but Piper just pushes Barr away. Piper carries on punching and Kicking Muraco in the corner, “The Rock” has nowhere to go, Barr calls for the bell and DQs Piper for not letting up at 18:57. Two more referees have entered the ring and managed to get Piper of who has a face full of blood. Muraco has fallen to the floor outside the ring. Piper is a crazed wild man. Two referees carry Muraco to the back and Piper grabs the ring announcers microphone, with a crazed sick look in his face, tell Muraco that this isn’t finished. The show ends with Piper looking into the camera with a crazed look on his face and blood running down it...


Don Coss: “Ok Don you requested this time and this is your chance to speak.”

Don Muraco: “I just wanted to take this time to tell Piper and to tell Don Owen that im livid by the way the match ended last week. Roddy Piper is a savage and i want him to be stripped of the title, the man is an animal and shouldnt be any near a title like that. Don Owen im calling for you take the PNW Heavyweight Title off Piper and give it to me, i won fairly last week. And i demand the title. Piper is a savage and doesnt deserve the title. Three weeks now in a row he has brutally attack me for no reason and now action needs to be taken. Piper you get on the mic and tell me the matter isn't over well your right its not, it will be though when i get the title and its put around my waist after your stripped of the belt. You intentionally got yourself DQ last week because you know i had you beat.”

At this point the PNW Heavyweight Champion Piper walks into the crows nest with his title, grabs a microphone and is nose to nose with Muraco and says “You want this title you will have to come and take it. Aint no man on this planet going to strip this scots man of his title, you will have to kill me. The pitch is now level from your attack on Xmas day“. By this point sercurity and referees have flooded the crows nest and Piper is dareing Muraco to fight him again. Muraco has taken a step back, and is saying he wants Piper stripped of the title. Don Coss at this point thanks the fans for tuning in and they will see them next week....

“Playboy” Buddy Rose

Steve Gatorwolf

In a one fall contest with a 15 minute time limit


First match of the evening sees one third of the Frank Bonnema Memorial Cup holder “Playboy” Buddy Rose against Steve Gatorwolf. Rose has been having his problems as of late with Billy Jack Haynes, the problem being Rose will only sneak attack and attack when he has the an extra man advantage. Haynes has got so fed up with the constant cat and mouse he challenge Rose to a come as your Portland street fight, but Buddy Rose refused claiming to be a wrestlers not a fighter. Rose clearly doesn’t feel the same toward Gatorwolf as he does to Haynes as he has gone straight in from the bell and attacked Gatorwolf, Rose is showing no respect towards Gatorwolf. Gatorwolf has got very little offence in on the Portland veteran and Rose finishes of Gatorwolf off around the five minute mark when he makes Gatorwolf submit to the Full Nelson. The crowd aren’t happy about the use of the Full Nelson as its Billy Jack Haynes finishing hold. Rose is looking very happy with himself and the jeers from the crowd.

PNW Television Champion Gama Singh With Great Mephisto and “Crippler” Rip Oliver

Doug Vines and Jeff Sword

In a one fall contest with a 15 minute time limit


Some maybe confused as to why Oliver and Singh are teaming together but they have been helping each other out in the last couple of weeks by opening the door to being able to attack their rivals in The Masked Superstar and Matt Borne. So an alliance of sorts has been made, but Great Mephisto insist that Rip Oliver is his own man and not part of the Karachi Vice that he spoke of last week, but people are coming to the Karachi family very soon. Rip Oliver association with the Singh and Mephisto is merely business while Masked Superstar and Matt Borne are on the agenda. Rip Oliver has started and finished the match for his team as Singh was too busy gloating to the fans about his PNW Television Title and his Frank Bonnema Cup. This doesn’t seem to bother Oliver who is doing all the work as he loves a good fight and too punish people. In the end, Oliver was too much for the team of Sword and Vines and after a Piledriver to Jeff Swords he gets the three count. As the bell rings to signal the end of the match, Gama Singh finally makes it inside the ring.

Don Coss and Dutch Savage welcome the fans to another action packed week of wrestling action here in Pacific Northwest Wrestling. This week we will see Matt Borne and The Masked Superstar go one on one for the a chance to face Television Champion Gama Singh, also the heavyweight champion will be in action and if that wasn't enough we have The Guerreros facing off with the Super Destroyers. At this point we would like to welcome the Sheepherders. Last week the Sheepherders pinned the Tag Team Champions in an 8 man tag team match, but they had a little help from an exposed turnbuckle pad. The Sheepherder tell Coss and Savage to shut it and to listen to them, they pinned the tag champs last week so now they want a match for the titles and in no uncertain terms they want the titles back. And as we showed last week, we will go to any lengths to get the belts back. The Sheepherders sending a clear message to the Pacific Northwest Wrestling Tag Team Champions The Islanders, King Tonga and Sivi Afi...

Match one

Marty Jones and Buck Zumhoffe
Vs
The Nightmares, Danny Davis and Ken Wayne

In a one fall contest with a 15 minute time limit


Zumhoffe and Jones have been having a bit of a competitive rivalry lately here in PNW. Both have a win over each other and both were on the winning side of an 8 man tag late last month. But theirs been an underlining problem, which has been this mystery man who has been coming out to the ring and watching them, and getting a little involve in the finishes to both of the pervious two matches. Although both men have lost to each other via outside interference, they have had a mutual respect for each other. The match starts off to a fast pace with the Nightmares using their tag experience to gain the upper hand in this contest. But the the team of Jones and Zumhoffe have started to click and are gaining the momentum in this one fall contest. Zumhoffe and Jones are now using quick tags and double team moves. Jones and Buck are really on a roll here, until from the back much like the last couple of weeks, a man in a sharp suit and sunglasses comes to the ring. Both Jones and Zumhoffe look at each other when they both notice the man. But unlike before the man just pulls up a seat at ringside. Zumhoffe is in the ring with Wayne and he is letting the man a ringside get to him, and The Nightmares have taken advantage of this match and double teaming Zumhoffe. Davis and Wayne are beating down on Zumhoffe in the corner, Jones is stretching for the tag. Finally Zumhoffe uses his quickest to make the The Nightmares make a mistake and Zumhoffe has gone for the tag finally, but as he makes his way to the corner crawling on all fours, the mystery man at ringside has walked round to where Jones is and Marty Jones has dropped to the arena floor to confront the man so that he doesn't cause any interference's. Zumhoffe now has no one to tag as Jones is having a heated conversation with the man in the suit on the floor. The Nightmares have dragged Zumhoffe back to the middle of the ring and are laying the boots in. While on the outside the mystery man has left ringside and walked to the back, Jones has jumped back up on to the apron, but its a little to late as Ken Wayne hits a big elbow drop and covers Zumhoffe for the 3 count. The Nightmare have scored the win here tonight. Jones is livid and has gone into the ring to see if Zumhoffe is ok. He helps Zumhoffe to his feet and Buck just shoves him away, shouting where were you, Jones is trying to explain, but Buck Zumhoffe doesn't want to know.

Billy Jack Haynes

Barry Darsow

In a one fall contest with a 15 minute time limit



Barry Darsow has made a few waves as of late in Pacific Northwest Wrestling, being undefeated in the last several weeks, but how will he match up to someone as good as Billy Jack Haynes. Billy Jack has been having his problems as of late with “Playboy”Buddy Rose, but in true Rose style he has refused every challenge laid out by Haynes. The latest one being for a Portland Street Fight, the reason for the refusal, Rose is a wrestler not a fighter? Back to the action in the ring, the inexperienced Darsow must have bitten of more than he can chew with Billy Jack Haynes. Darsow has been able to use his strength against a lot of his opponents in his recent matches but Billy Jack Haynes can match him strength to strength. The match is a back and forth one with Darsow getting in some near falls, hoping to continue his winning ways, the issue Haynes is having is locking in the Full Nelson around Darsow huge frame. Darsow whips Haynes into the corner and charges towards him but Haynes slips out of the way and Barry run straight into the corner post and stumbles back and Haynes slaps on the Full Nelson and after nearly a minute Darsow submits and Haynes gets the win. After the bell goes, Haynes looks into the camera and tell Rose to stop running and face him.

Match Three

Hector and Mando Guerrero with Gory Guerrero

The Super Destroyers with Percival Pringle

In a one fall contest with a 20 minute time limit


This feud has been building for weeks and weeks dating back to the big ambush on christmas day and finally these two will meet on an even pitch because last week we finally saw the tables leveled as Hector and Mando brought in west coast legend and their father Gory Guerrero to the Portland area to watch their backs and to keep Pringle at bay. The match starts with the Super Ds trying to time waste and which ever man is legal, spending a lot of time on the floor. This is a cat and mouse game with the Guerreros trying to get their hands on the Ds. Finally they do the the match has exploded with both teams giving it everything they have. They are ripping sheets of skin of each other. Every time Pringle gets up on the apron to help his team Gory is up to and Pringle is very wise and jumps down as he wants nothing to do with this Lucha great. The Ds have isolated Mando in the corner and while one Destroyer distracts the referee the other wraps the tag rope around Mando throat and is choking him. Hector is trying to get in to stop the double teaming, but its only causing more problems as every time he gets in the referee is tied up getting him out of the ring and the Ds use it to they advantage and continue the double teaming. Finally Hector has had enough and he flies past the referee and dives into the opposite corner where Mando is being double teamed and is clearing house. Pringle is up on the apron and Gory Guerrero comes round and pulls him from the apron and lamps him. The crowd are going wild. Mando is back up and fighting and all four men are fighting in the ring. The legal Destroyer #1 is down on the mat after a double drop kick from the Guerreros, Mando is going for the cover, but the Destroyer #2 comes of the top rope with a knee drop and pushes D #1 to the outside and covers Mando. Finally Sandy Barr has Hector out of the ring and turns around and makes the count on D#2 pinning Mando, even though he is the illegal man in the bout. The Destroyers get the 3 count and the win due to switching. Hector doesn't know what happened nor does the dazed Mando. The Ds and Pringle with their arms round each other, gingery walk to the dressing rooms. I have a feeling the Guerrero's will want to see a tape of this match.

In a one fall contest with a 20 minute time limit


These two teams were involved in a huge 8 man last week but unfortunately The Sawyers and The Samoans ended up brawling to the back, whereas the Sheepherders pinned the Pacific Northwest Tag Team Champions. As the Sawyers are making they way to the ring, from out of nowhere the Wild Samoans attack them from behind and beat down the Sawyers in the aisle. Using wooden chairs from the crowd and anything they can get their hands on. The Sheepherders are just laughing in the ring. The Sawyers are trying to fight back but due to the sheer surprise of the attack they have very little energy to fight back. Buzz Sawyer is thrown thought several chairs on his way down to the ring area, while Brett Wayne is having a his head chewed to piece from Afa. Arena security have come out to get the Wild Samoans off the Sawyers but The Wild Samoans are living up to their names as being wild and just attack the security as well. They will get a heavy fine for that, finally with 3 referees and more security, they have managed to split this up and the medic team at the Portland Sports Arena are tending to the hurt Sawyers. The match never got started.

Pacific Northwest Wrestling Heavyweight Champion “Rowdy”Roddy Piper
Vs
Troy Martin

In a one fall contest with a 10 minute time limit


A rare wrestling appearance from the heavyweight champion. A great opportunity for the the youngster Troy Martin. The opportunity lasted for about 3 seconds until Roddy runs over the Martin with kicks and punches, Piper whips him into the corner and charges after him with swinging arms and connects with some killer blows shortly followed by slapping on the Sleeper hold within a minute of the match starting and Troy Martin is out and the referee lifts Martins hand three times and it drops three times and the referee calls for the bell. After the bout Piper makes his way to the Crows Nest for an interview with Don Coss and Dutch Savage.

The PNW Heavyweight Champion “Rowdy”Roddy Piper


Coss and Savage welcome Piper to the nest and asked him how he is and so forth. Piper explains that this time last week he was standing here nose to nose with Don Muraco and he controlled his anger for the first time since returning, he feels that holding his anger back will prove to Don Owen that he can keep control and my title is going anyway. And like i said last week, if you want this title Don Muraco you got to come a get it. So im going to put the ball in your court, you can choose the match, the time, the place. I will even give up my champions advantage. So if i get DQ or counted out you win the title. How about that? You let me know, because the steam in this pipe is at boiling point and i cant control it forever. See you soon Don...

Number One Contenders Match for the Television Title

The Masked Superstar

In a one fall contest with a 20 minute time limit

Both these men have a reason to be called the number one contender for Gama Singhs title. Matt Borne pinned Gama Singh in a non title match a few weeks back. Also Singh has gone out of his way to attack Superstar several times since he came to Portland a month or two back. He Singh was also involve when Harley Race pinned Superstar in the final of the Frank Bonnema cup after a low blow. Both men have alot of respect for each other and shake hands before the bell. Both men lock up and tussle for position, Superstars gains the advantage and over powers Borne and stoves him to the ground. Borne dusts himself of and gets up and they lock up again, Borne goes round the back and lifts Superstar up and drops him to the floor. Borne jumps up and now its the Masked one who is dusting himself off. The match goes for several minutes without either gaining the advantage. Both of these fan favorites are throwing everything at each other with both men hitting some of their top moves. And both getting near falls.

Around the ten minute mark the PNW Television Champion Gama Singh comes to the ring. Singh watches from the outside hanging around the time keepers table. Neither Borne or Superstar are concerned that Singh is here, they both are concerned with winning the match and getting to the title. The time keeper announces theirs 5 minutes left in the match. Borne and Superstar have given it everything and they are starting to look tired. Hard hitting action here, Singh gets up on the apron to try and get involve but Borne smashes him with a hard shot, and he drops to the floor. Then from out of nowhere Borne turns round and Superstars hits a Swinging Neckbreaker, he crawls over to cover Borne 1......2......Singh drags the referee out of the ring before he can make the three count and Singh hits Snady Barr. Superstar is hot and goes to the floor and hits Singhs head on the arpon and followed by a clothesline to the floor. Superstar tries to get Barr up but hes not responding to well. Then from the back fellow referee Luke Brown sprints into the ring. Superstar slides in and covers Borne 1.........2........kick out. Superstar is gutted, he goes to pick up Borne who hits a German suplex on Superstar from nowhere and holds the bridge for the pinful, Sandy Barr rolls in and counts at the same time as Brown 1..........................2.............................3.

Both wreslters get up and Sandy Barr raises Superstars arm and the Masked Superstar is the new number one contender. But wait Luke Brown is holding Matt Bornes arm up too. Who is the winner, both referees argue over who shoulders were counted and both say that it was the other person. Both referees drop to the outside so the ring announcer can announces the winner. The ring annoucer announces........................”Here is your winner”, he looks at both referees and the confirm the decision while Superstar and Borne stand in the ring waiting on the verdict. “Here is your winner The Masked Superstar” The crowd erupt, Matt Borne is gutted he gave everything, “And Matt Borne, this match ended as a draw due to a double pinful.” Both wrestlers looked confused as do the fans in the Portland Sports Arena. Sandy Barr the senoir official is talking to the ring announcer again. The ring announcer takes the mic again and tells the crowd, “Due to the double pinful, senior referee Sandy Barr has announced that there is not one number one contender for Gama Singhs Television title” The crowd boo this announcement and Superstar and Borne are livid like the fans. Gama Singh who has just started to walk back to the changing rooms, “Their is not one number one contender but two, both Matt Borne and The Masked Superstar will receive title matches in the coming weeks due to Gama Singhs interference and for him striking an official.” Singhs turns round in the aisle way and is shocked but the crowd love this decision and so do Borne and Superstar. The crowd are going wild Singh has dropped to his knees, surely hoping the ground will sallow him up. Instead of one title defense he now has two.....

The contest ended with a double pin at the 17:29 minute mark

Arena Matches Before Live Television Program


1...... The Sawyer Brothers defeat Doug Vines and Jeff Sword. After their sneak attack last week at the hands of the Wild Samoans, the Sawyer’s don’t look like a team that is willing to hang around too much. Jeff Sword and Doug Vines now know what its like to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, as the Sawyers are hot. They take all of their anger out on Vines and Sword, but not only that they punish the team. Refusing to pin their opponents’, reason being they can inflict more and more damage to them. The Sawyers are toying with Vines and Sword, clearly they have only two people in their minds, that being Afa and Sika. Buzz Sawyer finishes off Jeff Sword with a running power slam, and makes the cover and gets the 3 count at 6:57. After the bout the Sawyers take the ring announcers microphone that scream into it that they want the Wild Samoans.

2.... Mando Guerrero with Gory Guerrero defeats Super Destroyer #1 With Percival Pringle. After last week’s matchup between these two and their partners, Mando will be after some revenge for the loss to the Super Destroyers last weekend on television. A very fast paced matchup between the two wrestlers, with neither really gaining the upper hand. An even match until, Mando's quickness is too much for D#1 and he gets the win after a sunset flip for the 3 count at 10:51.

3......Barry Darsow defeats Steve Gatorwolf. Barry Darsow suffered his first defeat last week at the hands of Billy Jack Haynes and this week he wants to get back on form. And he does, he finishes off Gatorwolf very quickly indeed. No nonsense’s Barry Darsow makes an example out Steve Gatorwolf and gets the win after a body splitting shoulder breaker followed by the pin at 5:16.

1......Hector Guerrero with Gory Guerrero defeats Super Destroyer #2 With Percival Pringle. A lot of heat in this one after weeks and weeks of sneak attacks, cheating and switching places to win their matches. D#2 takes the early advantage in the bout and is in full control after about 5 minutes of actions. With Super D#2 in control he gets over confident and takes his eye of the ball and Hector catches him with a roll up and gets the pinful victory at 7 minutes.

2......Don Muraco defeats Troy Martin in a matter of minutes after a Piledriver followed by the pinful at 3 minutes 56 seconds. Muraco was in full control of the bout and never looked like he wasn’t in control as you would expect. After the bout Don Muraco makes he’s way to the crow’s nest to respond to the Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Champions Roddy Pipers challenge last week on television. The challenge was that, Piper the champion would put the ball in Muracos court, Don can choose the match, the time, the place, and Piper even said he will give up his champions’ advantage. So if Piper gets DQ or counted out Don Muraco wins the title. Don accepts the challenge but he doesn’t want to choose the place or the time but rather the referee, Don Muraco wants a special guess referee, but no ordinary special guest referee, he needs someone who can control Piper, so that special guess referee needs to a former PNW Heavyweight Champion, if Roddy Piper agrees to this one stipulation then he’ll get his match.

3......“Playboy” Buddy Rose comes into the crow’s nest and says that he isn’t dodging or ducking Billy Jack Haynes anymore, he is a wrestler and points out Billy Jack Haynes is also a wrestler so they should wrestle, not fight so I’m challenge you Billy Jack Haynes, to a Amateur Rules match, 12 three minute rounds to determined the winner. In case you’re not aware of this form of wrestling Billy Jack Haynes, tonight I’m going to show you. Buddy Rose leaves the crow’s nest and makes his way to the ring to face Art Crews in an Amateur contest. Buddy Rose is now sporting a head guard, to show off his amateur background. He finishes of Art Crews quickly in the second round, the first round mainly consisted of Rose teasing Crews with some Amateur moves, but not really taking control of the contest. He lock in the Full Nelson after just a minute of the second round and Crews submitted, yet again Rose wins with the Full Nelson, which everyone knows is the finishing move of Billy Jack Haynes.

4......The next match doesn’t even get started much like the last week, The Wild Samoans were in the ring ready to face the PNW Tag Team champions The Islanders but the Sawyers brother just steam the ring and attack the Samoans. The Sawyers and Samoans brawl all round the ring and fight to the back. This leaves the Islanders in the ring and then from nowhere the Sheepherders come into the ring and attack the champions. They have a New Zealand flag with them and are using it to beat down on fallen champions. The Sheepherders have done some damage to the champion and to add insult to injury they lay the flag of their home country over the champions, they also pose with the Tag Team Titles.

The PNW Heavyweight champion Roddy Piper comes out to the crow’s nest to much fan fare from the Portland fans and accepts Don Muraco stipulation and tell Don Muraco to choose anyone as the referee, it won’t matter as he’s keeping the title, so do your worst. Because once Muraco is out of the way, he’s going to focus his efforts in becoming the NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

5......The main event of the evening has a special stipulation to it, if Matt Borne or Masked Superstar gets the pinful victory in this match, the person who scores the fall will get to choose if they are to receive a Television title match which the pair of them were rewarded last week on television, first or second. But if one of them gets covered for the 3 count from one of their opponents Rip Oliver and Gama Singh then Gama Singh will get to choose the order he faces the 2 number one contenders. A heated and very even battle, but finally Matt Borne manages to hit a Belly to Belly Suplex on Gama Singh and makes the cover and gets the fall at 12 and half minutes. After the match Borne announces he wants the first title match.

Arena Matches Before Live Television Program


1..... Buck Zumhoffe defeats Troy Martin, when he used his speed and technical skill to outlast the youngster Troy Martin. Buck Zumhoffe has been having problems as of late with Englishman Marty Jones and this mysterious man in a suit, who has been coming to the ring to observe his and Jones matches. Buck Zumhoffe hits a massive dropkick followed by the pinful at 5:35. Buck Zumhoffe will now be refocusing his efforts on Marty Jones and the mysterious man.

2.... The Wild Samoans are up next, making very quick work of Doug Vines and Jeff Sword. Vines and Sword have been on the end of some brutal beatings at the hands of the feuding teams of The Sawyer Brothers and The Wild Samoans in the last couple of weeks. Afa gets the pinful victory after a head butt from the second rope at 7:19. Much like last week, The Samoans only have one team on their mind and that’s the Sawyers, and they took their anger out on Vines and Sword.

3.... Rip Oliver destroyers Steve Gatorwolf in a matter of moments, Rip is a no nonsense type of wrestler, and he is showing it here, he will want to get back to his feud with Matt Borne where Oliver continues to be a thorn in Borne’s side. Oliver hits a pile driver on Gatorwolf and gets the win after controlling the entire match at 4:29.

1....The Masked Superstar who is preparing for his Television title match that will be happening in two weeks time, defeats Barry Darsow in a hard fought battle. These two match up in a lot of ways including being similar size and similar height. Barry Darsow is fearless, and isn’t worried by the more experienced Masked Superstar. This is a power battle between these two big men, Darsow gets some near fall, but in the end the inexperience of Darsow cost him the match as he took his eye of the ball and Superstar hits his Swinging Neckbreaker for the victory via pinful at 7:35. Superstar now moves onto Television Champion, whoever that may be in two weeks time.

Billy Jack Haynes has come to the crow’s nest to talks to Don Coss and Dutch Savage the host of the Portland Wrestling, he talks about the struggle it’s been to get Buddy Rose in the ring for a singles match, but if it has to be amateur rules then it has to be. Billy Jack Haynes goes on to say that, he can inflict a lot of pain in 12 three minute rounds, so Buddy Rose shouldn’t take him lightly.

2.... The Sawyers are out next to face the Nightmares of Danny Davis and Ken Wayne. The Sawyer’s, who got a mark of revenge over the Samoans last week, are on fire this week. Even with all the issues they are having with the Samoans at the moment they still know how to take care of business in the ring, and tonight is no different. Brett Wayne gets the win tonight for his team after a bulldog. After the bout, the Sawyers say that they still want the Samoans and they want them sooner rather than later.

The mysterious man comes to the crow’s nest to introduce himself, still dressed in a suit and sunglasses. He takes his sunglasses off and introduces himself to be MARK ROCCO. He is here for one reason and that’s to use Portland as a launch pad to superstardom in the United States. He’s conquered Britain and Europe also Japan and now it’s time to hit this side of the pond. He goes on to say that he’s seen Marty Jones come over to the States and claim to be the best British wrestler here in Portland Wrestling. And then follows that by saying he’s seen Buck Zumhoffe claims to be the best junior wrestler in Portland wrestling. And that’s why he’s been paying close attention to their matches in the last couple of weeks, so he wants to use an old saying to help settle this, I want to kill two birds with one stone, so I’m challenging both Marty Jones and Buck Zumhoffe to a round robin series. We all face each other twice over the next few weeks, with a win getting you two points and a draw getting you one point, and then the two wrestlers with the most points face each other for the overall bragging rights here in Portland Wrestling.

Following Mark Rocco’s introduction Don Muraco comes to the crow’s nest and says he is glad that Roddy Piper accepted his stipulation, and now for the moment everyone has been waiting for and that’s to introduce his special guest referee. He has researched the PNW Champions archives to find a suitable referee, I thought of Dutch Savage (the crowd cheer), but has enough on his plate with Don Coss. Then I thought of Rick Martel (the crowd pop again), but he took his ball and went home last year. Then I came across Jimmy Superfly Snuka (crowd pop again) but he was busy. Jay Youngblood (yet again the crowd pop) but he’s tied up also. So that leaves me with the most decorated Pacific Northwest Wrestling Heavyweight Champion of all time...

“Playboy” Buddy Rose (The crowd boo and jeer heavily). That’s right the greatest PNW Champion of all time will officiate the match on April 2nd between myself and the former PNW Champion Roddy Piper.

3.... Matt Borne in preparation for his Television Title match next week defeats Art Crew’s in a matter of minutes with a belly to back Suplex after 5 minutes, Borne was slick and to the point in this match and finishes his opponent with relative ease. Borne has been on a roll over the last couple of months, he looks on top form for his title match next week. And if he wins then his first challenger will be The Masked Superstar.

The Guerreros come out with their manager and father Gory Guerrero. They challenge The Super Destroyers to a rematch as they both defeated each of the Destroyers last week and they want their rematch next week. They put over how fed up they are of the Destroyers and they want to move on to bigger and better things in the tag team world. And the winner of next week’s match will receive future Tag Team Title match.

4.... This match is for the Pacific Northwest Wrestling Tag Team Championship, the Islanders will defend the titles against the Sheepherders. After last week’s attack on the Islanders the Sheepherders have the advantage. Both King Tonga and Sivi Afi are showing signs of the beat down from last week, where the Sheepherders used their New Zealand flag pole to do most damage. Even with the Islanders being hurt they demanded the match with the titles on the line, and Don Owen agreed. The match starts out with an all out brawl, both teams are in the ring giving it their all, but the less than 100% champions are starting to look drain and the Sheepherders are getting the upper hand. After about the 12 minutes of action, the resilient champions have managed to get the advantage. King Tonga has hit a thrust kick to Butch and covers him, as Sivi Afi tries to stop Luke Williams coming in break up the count, he is stopped by referee. And while the referee back is turned Luke grabs the New Zealand flag and hits it across Tonga’s back and rounds Butch onto him. Sandy Barr turns and makes the three count and we have new PNW Tag Team champions the Sheepherders. Sivi Afi comes in to check on his partner, while the Sheepherders celebrate the title victory after 16 minutes of action.

1..... Making his in ring debut in the Portland area is Mark Rocco. Tonight he will be up against Steve Gatorwolf, Rocco is a world travelled professional, who incorporates many different styles and skills into his wrestling matches. And starting next week he will be involved in a 6 match round robin series against Buck Zumhoffe and Marty Jones. Rocco gets the win in his debut with a flying head scissors followed by a pin at 8:46.

2....Barry Darsow looking to bounce back after his defeat at the hands of Masked Superstar last week. Darsow destroys Troy Martin in a matter of minutes when he tosses him about the ring for several minutes and he then finishes him off with a deadly shoulder breaker for the win at 4 minutes.

3.... In a special non televised match, The Masked Superstar defeated Rip Oliver in a 15 minute classic, where both men gave it their all but in the end it was Masked Superstars swinging Neckbreaker that made the difference. Masked Superstar now goes on to face the winner of the Television title match later on tonight on television.

We go to Don Coss and Dutch Savage who announce we have new Tag Team Champions in the Sheepherders; clips are run of their victory last week and it is also mentioned that the Islanders have gone back to their home country to regroup and they promised to be back before too long to have they rematch with the new champions.

1..... The new Tag Team Champions Butch Miller and Luke Williams, the Sheepherders make light work of the duo of Doug Vines and Jeff Sword. The Sheepherders come to the ring with the New Zealand flag and their new tag straps looking very proud of themselves. They finish off their opponents after just a few minutes of action where the champions were mainly in control. The Sheepherders hits a double gut buster on Vines followed by Luke Williams covering Vines and getting the three count at 7:17.

2....In a grudge tag team match, The Guerrero brother of Hector and Mando with Gory Guerrero in their corner go to a double DQ with the Super Destroyers with Percival Pringle III in their corner. A very heated match, which comes from months and months of battles between these two teams, which has seen the involvement of Pringle and the introduction to Portland Wrestling of Gory Guerrero. This match starts out like any ordinary tag team match until about the 10th minute when all hell breaks loose on the floor when Pringle, who has a habit of interjecting himself into matches, try to do the same here, but Gory Guerrero stops him and cracks him with a stiff left hand on the area floor. The Super Destroyers have taken offence to this and have jumped to the floor and grabbed hold of Gory Guerrero, when the Guerreros fly out of the ring and all 4 men start brawling and Gory and Percy have got involved also. The ring wasn’t big enough to contain them. Sandy Barr has called for the bell and DQ both teams. All 6 men including Pringle and Gory are brawling all round the arena and up the aisle way, when all of a sudden Hector has managed to rip one of the Destroyers masks off. Destroyer #1 covers his head and runs to the back shortly followed by D#2 and Pringle. The Guerrero’s celebrate back in the ring with one of the Destroyers masks.

3... In a match that was set up last week, Billy Jack Haynes will take on “Playboy” Buddy Rose in 12, 3 minute rounds of amateur wrestling. This match has been building for weeks and weeks and finally Billy Jack Haynes gets Buddy Rose in the ring one on one. Rose again this week is wearing his protective head guard, trying to come across as a true amateur. Rose is being very cagey in the first round and isn’t moving to far from the ropes; Haynes goes for a lock up but Rose holds on to the rope for the rope break. Haynes is trying to get his hands on but Rose is just moving around the ring, not letting Haynes near to him. Finally Rose and Haynes lock up and Rose throws a wayward arm out and knocks the referee, by accident it seems. While that happen and the referee has taken his eye of the action, and Buddy Rose hits Haynes with a head butt that takes Haynes by surprise as he has fallen to the ground. Referee Luke Brown misses he head butt. Rose has stumbled back also from the head butt. Haynes is out cold on the mat; Rose is telling Brown to count Billy Jack Haynes for the knock out. Luke Brown has no option he counts. Buddy Rose has won this contest in the first round at 2 minute 20 seconds. But it doesn’t make sense, how hard was the head butt from Rose, he has knock Billy Jack Haynes senseless. Rose has taken his head guard off and walks to the back celebrating while the medical team has come to check on the condition of Billy Jack Haynes who still isn’t moving. Its seems to everyone that Haynes has been knocked out cold from the head butt, but surely it couldn’t off been that hard, could it?

4.... Don Muraco is out next and he defeats Art Crews in around 6 minutes after a dominate performance where he finishes of Crews with a pile driver. Don Muraco is favourite for his upcoming Pacific Northwest Heavyweight title match against Roddy Piper as he has chosen “Playboy” Buddy Rose as his special guest referee. The advantage is firmly with Muraco. While Muraco is celebrating Roddy Piper comes out to the crow’s nest to address Muraco. He says that he always knew Muraco would use excuse after excuse for all these so called former champions he contacted, but I know you didn’t contact one of them did you? Muraco replies saying it doesn’t matter because he was always going to chose Buddy Rose. Piper goes on to say that he has spoke to Don Owen about this decision, and unfortunately he can’t have it changed, Buddy Rose is a former PNW champion and he will be the referee. But due to Rose having history with me over the title, Don Owen has said that i may pick an outside enforcer to make sure that the match is refereed fairly. Muraco jumps in and says that that rubbish, Piper cuts him off, but with Don Owen being a fair person I needed to choose a former champion too. Muraco laugh’s, at this short notice you’ve got no chance. Actually Mr Muraco I’ve found a man, would you come out here please...

STAN STASIAK, the crowd goes wild; Stasiak has held the Pacific Northwest Heavyweight title several times. Muraco is stunned and storms out of the ring to the back. Stasiak cuts a good baby face promo about how he’s glad to be back in Portland, and he will make sure that Buddy Rose referees the match fairly.

5.... In the first Television title match that you will see in the next couple of weeks; the champion Gama Singh successfully defeats Matt Borne after a he hot shots Borne on his throat over the top rope. This was a very competitive match that went back and forth. Matt Borne took away Singh's advantage when the action went to the outside and Borne decked Great Mephisto around the eight minute mark. Borne got several near falls but just couldn’t find what was needed to finish of Singh. Gama Singh came to fight and he got away with the title by the skin of his teeth. Borne had Singh defeat and pinned after a Belly to Belly Suplex but Singh managed to get his foot on the rope at the last second. The match went about 18 minute to the 20 minute time limit before Singh could get the decisive pinful. Both men have been in a battle and limp gingerly to the back...

6.... The main event this week sees the Wild Samoans against The Sawyer Brothers. Sandy Barr has been told to let these two teams go at it, and that’s what they do. A near 20 minutes of brutal brawling action, where the hatred of these two teams has boiled over. The Samoans are trying to isolate Brett Wayne, but “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer doesn’t care for the rules so much today and wants to hurt the Samoans. The Samoans get the win when the referee Sandy Barr calls for the bell, as Brett Wayne is bleeding so heavily after Afa rammed his head into the ring post on the outside of the ring. So the Samoans win this battle but the war is far from over.

Arena Matches before Live Television Program


1.... Mark Rocco defeats the youngster Troy Martin in a competitive match up. The Briton Mark Rocco is getting ready for his best of six series with Marty Jones and Buck Zumhoffe. Zumhoffe and Jones start the series later on tonight. Back to the action, both these juniors are giving the fans a lot of action, but in the end the experience of Rocco out lasts the youngster and Rocco rolls Martin up after a flurry of European uppercuts followed but an inside cradle for the three count at 8:56. Rocco is looking sharp going into his series with Zumhoffe and Jones.

2... The last match before the television show is a special attraction. PNW Heavyweight Champion Roddy Piper and Matt Borne against the team ofAfa and Sika, The Wild Samoans, in a one fall contest with a 30 minute time limit. The Samoans come hot off the heels of a brutal battle with the Sawyers last week on television where the Samoans got the victory, due to referee stoppage because of a huge amount of blood lose to Brett Wayne Sawyer. The new team of Piper and Borne, two fan favourites team up for the first time, it’ll be interesting to see if they can gel. This match is no mat classic that’s for sure, a hard hitting contest where the Samoans take the early advantage due to their experience but it doesn’t take long for the make shift team of Piper and Borne to begin to gel. Due to the match running longer than expected the live television program starts and we are on the air...

We go to the crow’s nest where Don Coss and Dutch Savage welcome us to the this week’s television program, Don Coss directs the cameras to the ring to join the match in progress from around the 15 minute mark of the match, which is definitely a treat for the fans at home. The Samoans have Borne hurting at the moment, and they are making him pay. Roddy Piper is very eager to get back in the action, but the Samoans are trying their hardest to keep him in the corner. But the Samoans make a sudden mistake and Borne is out of the corner that isolated him for so long and flies across the ring and makes the tag to the champion. Piper is in and he is clearing house, Piper goes on a 3 to 4 minute hot streak and is proving too much for the Samoans. Then from out of nowhere just as the Samoans were on the back foot, “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer steams into the ring and attacks the both the Samoans and the referee Sandy Barr calls for the bell and DQs Piper and Borne for the interference from Buzz Sawyer at 22 minutes. Sawyer is holding his own fighting against the Samoans and ends up brawling to the back with the Samoans. What a start to the program this week. Borne and Piper, shake hands and leave. On the way back up the aisle, Rip Oliver comes out of the crowd and whacks Borne over the head with a roll of quarters and flies of back into the crowd as Piper checks to see if Matt Borne is ok.

1.... The first official match of the evening is the first in the best of six series, with Buck Zumhoffe against Marty Jones. These two have had quite the little rivalry building since the beginning of the year. Their battles have been pretty even, with neither man gaining the advantage, mainly due to the third man in this best of six series Marl Rocco being a distraction. A very fast opening couple of minutes of action from both wrestlers, with Zumhoffe coming close with a near fall. Neither man wants to start this best of six series with a defeat. Finally Zumhoffe makes the cut thought and gets the three count after hitting Marty Jones with a big drop kick for the victory at 12 minutes. Buck Zumhoffe gains two points and moves to the top of the leader board in this best of six series.

We go to Don Coss and Dutch Savage who let the fans that Billy Jack Haynes has a concussion from his match with “Playboy” Buddy Rose, and he will be out for the next couple of weeks recovering. At this point Buddy Rose walks into the crow’s nest and gloats about his victory last week, and how he put Billy Jack Haynes out of action, which means he can concentrate solely on his referee duties in the big Heavyweight Title match on April 2nd before that he has to deal with his opponent tonight. Don Coss asked Rose how come his head butt did so much damage to Billy Jack Haynes, Buddy Rose avoided the question like the plague, as he puts his head guard on and walks down to the ring for his match tonight.

2... “Playboy” Buddy Rose makes Art Crews submit after 8 minutes of action using the Full Nelson. Buddy Rose was in control for the entire match, and can now set his sights on refereeing the huge Heavyweight Title match in two weeks.

3.... Great Mephisto and Gama Singh are out, Mephisto grabs the mic and tells the crowd this is the start of the Karachi Vice tonight, and after his man Gama Singh picked up a huge win last week against Matt Borne, it’s time to take control here in Portland. From here he introduces the newest member of the Karachi Vice, TIGER JEET SINGH. Singh comes to the ring shakes hands with the Television Champion and his new manager Great Mephisto.Tiger Jeet Singh tonight makes first appearance facing Steve Gatorwolf, where he makes quick work of his opponent; he punishes him with some stretch holds and finishes him off with the Camel Clutch at 7:27. Tiger looks like he knows his way around the ring and also how to handle himself, which will make both Gama Singh and Great Mephisto very happy.

4.... Don Muraco makes very light work of Doug Vines, after 10 minutes of toying with Doug Vines, finishing off Vines it a big Piledriver for the victory. Muraco looks all set for his day of destiny against Roddy Piper in two weeks for the Pacific Northwest Wrestling Heavyweight Title. After the bout Don Muraco walks up to the crow’s nest and gets interviewed by Don Coss and Dutch Savage, Muraco states that he will be the new Heavyweight champion in two weeks time, and it will be the dawning of a new era of wrestling in Portland. He moves on to address Piper decision to choose the “Washed up has been” Stan “Was never the man” Stasiak as the ring side enforcer, Muraco tell Stasiak that he is passed it and not to even try to get involved in the match in two weeks. your an old man Stasiak, put your slippers on and go home. You’re out of your dept, so stay away from the match.

5... The Pacific Northwest Wrestling Tag Team Champions are up next. Butch Miller and Luke Williams, The Sheepherders , are faced against the team of Danny Davis and Ken Wayne, The Nightmares. A very open match where both teams get a large amount of offence in against each other. The Nightmares are looking like different team this week and are really taking it to the champions, which the Sheepherder weren’t expecting and have been caught off guard. The Nightmares get a near fall towards the end of the match, but finally after 10 minutes of nonstop action the Sheepherders manage to isolate Ken Wayne and hit the double gut buster and get the win. The Nightmares gave it their all and the fans in the Portland Sports Arena show their appreciation to the tag team of Danny Davis and Ken Wayne.

Gory Guerrero has come out to talk on behalf of his sons and gets interviewed by Don Coss and Dutch Savage, Gory covers several subjects, but mostly the feud the Guerrero family are in with Percival Pringle and the Super Destroyers. After a couple of minutes Percival Pringle comes out and confronts Gory, they get into a heated argument, when Pringle slaps Gory across the face. With that Gory goes straight for Pringle and starts to pound him with left and rights. Pringle and Gory and fighting on the floor, when the Super Destroyers come out and pull Gory Guerrero of Pringle and hold him, while Percival gets to his feet, slaps Gory hard across the face. He then pulls a pair of scissors from his pocket, and it looks like he is going to cut some of Gory Guerreros hair of, until Hector and Mando run up to the Crow’s Nest and the Super Destroyers and Pringle, take to the hills, The Guerrero brothers check on Gory, who is mad.

6... The Main Event this week, is for the Pacific Northwest Wrestling Television Title, the defending champions, is joined by his manager Great Mephisto, Gama Singh against the number one contender Masked Superstar. Masked Superstar looks pumped for this match, and as soon as the bell goes he goes straight for Gama Singh, but Singh slips to the outside. The first few minutes of the match, sees Superstar chasing after Singh as he ducks and dives away from the Masked Superstar. Gama Singh gains the advantage when Mephisto trips Superstar as he was running against the ropes, but referee Sandy Barr missed it. Singh is in firmly in control now, and laying the boot into Superstar as he lays face first down into the mat. After several minutes of actions, with Singh being in control, Superstar starts to make a comeback. Singh is on the back foot now as Superstar is hot and gaining full control of the match. Mephisto is helpless on the floor and tries to get involved but Matt Borne has come out to ringside and lumps Mephisto with a stiff right hand to put him down on the floor. Superstar has seen this and now knows he now has a level pitch in which to wrestle Gama Singh. From the back comes Tiger Jeet Singh, the newest member of the Karachi Vice, who goes straight for the ring, but Matt Borne cuts him and Tiger and Borne are brawling on the floor. Superstar has the idea opportunity to capture on this, he hits the Swinging Neckbreaker and covers Singh, but Sandy Barr hasn’t seen this as he’s trying split Borne and Tiger up on the outside, when Rip Oliver comes out from the back and hits Superstar with the Television title belt and Singh covers him. Sandy Barr has separated Borne and Tiger on the outside with the help of fellow referee Luke Brown and slides into the ring and makes the 3 count at 18:23, and Gama Singh retains the television title. Borne checks on Superstar in the ring, while Rip Oliver, Gama Singh, Tiger Jeet Singh and Great Mephisto celebrate on their way back to the changing rooms. The Karachi Vice retain the Television gold. Rip Oliver really made an impact on tonight’s television program.

1.... This week’s opening contest sees Marty Jones against the youngster Troy Martin. Marty Jones lost in his opening match of the best of six series against Buck Zumhoffe last week, so he’ll be looking to get back on form this week against the youngster Martin. Jones dominates nearly the entire match and gets the win with a sunset flip at 7 minutes. Jones will have his second match of the best of six series against Mark Rocco next week on the live television program.

2.... The next match sees The Great Mephisto’s PNW Television Champion Gama Singh against Steve Gatorwolf. Mephisto tells the crowd that after two tough weeks for the champion he is giving him a work out tonight against Gatorwolf. In the past few weeks Gama Singh has defended his title successfully against the rising star in Portland, Matt Borne and last week against the Masked Superstar but the victory wasn’t as clean as the champion would like to think it was, as Rip Oliver along with Tiger Jeet Singh played a major role in Singh retaining his title. Gama Singh is joined by not only Great Mephisto, but Tiger Jeet Singh as well; Gatorwolf has his work cut out with Gama Singh let alone two men from the Karachi Vice outside of the ring. Gama Singh controls the whole match and gets the win around 8 minutes when he hits a high knee to the face of Steve Gatorwolf followed by the pin. The Karachi Vice make their way to the crow’s nest to speak with Don Coss and Dutch Savage....

After the credits role, we are in the crow’s nest with Don Coss and Dutch Savage who are joined by all 3 members of the Karachi Vice. Mephisto talks up about how great Gama Singh did to battle against the odds to retain his title against Matt Borne and Masked Superstar. He puts across how his Karachi Vice was growing and that new members would be joining soon and the Karachi Vice will be growing and fulfilling their promises of taking over Pacific Northwest Wrestling. At this point, Masked Superstar walks into the crow’s nest, he looks like he has something to say, Dutch Savage gets in between Superstar and Singh to stop any possible altercation. Superstar demands a rematch and says he will do anything to get it, he’s been cheated out of the title too many times, but he wants it more than ever. Great Mephisto says that Singh has already beaten him twice now for the belt, why would he need to do it again? Masked Superstar replies saying he will put his Portland career on the line, so if he loses he will leave the area for good. Gama Singh jumps at the chance to see the back of Masked Superstar as he’s been nothing but a thorn in his side since he’s came to Portland. Masked Superstar’s says that before he gets to Gama Singh he wants to eliminate any problems that may arise, so tonight he will punish Tiger Jeet Singh for his part in his defeat to Gama Singh last week and then he will set his sights on settle the score with Rip Oliver, that’s if Matt Borne leaves anything for him, then it’s Gama Singh and his title. We cut to the break and when we return its Superstar and Jeet Singh.

1... First match of the night see Masked Superstar against the Tiger Jeet Singh. Tiger Jeet Singh made quite the debut last week on television, and looks to be a very valuable asset to the Karachi Vice. The Masked Superstar is looking for revenge for Tiger Jeet Singh part in his defeat to Gama Singh. The match starts slowly with Tiger Jeet Singh wasting time on the outside, trying his hardest to stay away from the irate Masked Superstar. But Singh cant run forever, and Superstar finally gets him where he wants him in the ring, but Mephisto has distracted the referee Luke Brown and Singh took advantage and low blows Superstar and has full control of the match. After several minutes of Tiger Jeet Singh being in control, Masked Superstars makes the comeback the fans have been waiting for and wins this contest after hitting his Swinging Neckbreaker followed by the pinful at 12 minutes. The Great Mephisto comes in to check on his man, when Superstar grabs hold of him and lamps with a stiff right hand, much to the delight of the fans in the Portland Sports Arena.

The Sawyer Brothers Buzz and Brett Wayne have come out to the ring and take the house mic. Buzz with anger and passion in his voice,"Samoans this has to end and on the 30th of April, at the PNW All Star Extravaganza, we want a Lights Out match to end this war, no rules, simply that the team that stays standing to the end wins." He drops the mic and the two brothers walk out of the ring looking very serious.

2... Matt Borne defeats Jeff Sword in a convincing performance from Borne after 8 minutes of action, when Borne hit his finisher the Belly To Back Suplex followed by the three count. After the match Matt Borne joins Don Coss and Dutch Savage in the crow’s nest where he challenges Rip Oliver to one last match to settle their feud and to see who the better man is, one on one, man to man. Borne goes on to say he can’t move on with his career until he ends this feud with Rip Oliver.

3... Third match of the evening, “The Crippler” Rip Oliver destroys Art Crews in a matter of a few (6) minutes after a deadly Piledriver. After the match he continues the assault until Matt Borne charges into the ring to run off Oliver. Borne grabs the house mic and sends out the challenge again from earlier to Rip Oliver and Oliver shouts back that he will see Borne next week. So the match is on for next week, Matt Borne versus Rip Oliver.

“Playboy” Buddy Rose and the number one contender for the PNW Heavyweight Title have come to the crow’s nest to address the fans ahead of the huge Heavyweight Title match next week on television. Buddy Rose challenges Billy Jack Haynes to face him one on one, knowing full well that he is out of action for at least 3 more weeks with his concussion,. Next up Don Muraco addresses Piper and says he better enjoy the last week he has as Pacific Northwest Wrestling Heavyweight as next week, he will be relieving him of this duties. He says he is more ready than he’s ever been, and his time has come. No more making examples out of midgets, local wrestlers etc, it’s time for the”Magnificent” Muraco to reign supreme in Portland. And one last thing, Stan Stasiak, your passed it, it’s time to hang up the boots and leave this business, and before you even try to get involved next week, it’s my time. And as this is going to be such a special weekend, I’ve invited my good friend and NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race to be in attendance to see be crowned as the new Pacific Northwest Wrestling Heavyweight Champion.

4... In a rematch from last week the PNW Tag Team Champions The Sheepherders, Luke Williams and Butch Miller face the team that took them to the limit last week The Nightmares, Danny Davis and Ken Wayne . The Nightmares have a lot more confidences after last week’s great performance and the crowd are starting to get behind the masked team. A back and forth match with neither team gaining a huge advantage, after about 12 minutes of action all hell breaks loose in the ring and all four men are in the ring brawling, when Luke Williams brings in the New Zealand flags and attacks Danny Davis with the flag pole, and the referee Sandy Barr calls for the bell and DQ’s the champions. The Sheepherders have escaped again with the titles. It might not be the same when the Nightmares get another shot, or the soon to be returning Islanders want their rematch for the titles.

5... In the next match of the night, its the second match of the best of six series Buck Zumhoffe who is in the lead against Mark Rocco . This first time match-up, which is a fast paced junior contest with both men giving it their all. Zumhoffe is trying to cement his lead at the top of the board with another win, but it looks like Rocco has his number this week and gets the win after a German Suplex around the 11 minute mark in this competitive match. Rocco and Zumhoffe both have 2 points while Marty Jones trails behind with Zero.

The Guerrero Brothers Hector and Mando have come to the ring and called out the Super Destroyers to the ring for a fight for their actions last week towards the Guerreros father Gory. The Super Destroyers don’t wait long and come out to the ring and both teams start brawling all over the arena, while security try to separate all 4 men, but the hatred is too much for these two teams and they don’t care about anything else. Finally the arena security along with referees and backstage staff have managed to split this two teams up, but not without both teams leaving a mark on each other, Mando has a piece of Super Destroyer #1 mask in his hand, while Super Destroyer #2 has a chuck of Hectors hair in his hand. How will this two team sort out their differences?

6... The main event of the evening see PNW Heavyweight Champion Roddy Piper makes quick work of Doug Vines when Piper slaps on a sleeper hold and puts Vines out after 5 minutes. Piper who has the biggest match of his career next week looks on top form. After the bout, Piper joins Don Coss and Dutch Savage in the crow’s nest where he gets to put his finals thoughts of the huge match next week across to the fans, for months and months you Don Muraco have caused me grief and next Saturday night im coming for you, and no “Playboy” or Worlds Champion can stop me. It’s not my time up Don, it’s yours.

1... In the first match of this historic night in PortlandBuck Zumhoffe takes on Steve Gatorwolf . Buck Zumhoffe lost to Mark Rocco last week in the second best of six series match. Rocco faces Jones later on this evening. Zumhoffe is right on the money tonight and gets the win after a huge drop kick seals Gatorwolf’s fate.

2.... Next up is the Wild Samoans, Afa and Sika against the team of Doug Vines and Jeff Sword. The Samoans were challenged last week by the Sawyers for a Lights out match for the 30th of April at the huge super show Pacific Northwest Wrestling will be holding. We’ve heard word that the Samoan`s were more than happy to accept the challenge set out by the Sawyers. As for Vines and Sword, well they meet the same fate so many more teams have faced, demolished by these Wild Samoans. The Samoans win this bout after 10 minutes of actions when Afa and Sika hit a double head butt to Sword and get the 3 count. They move on to the Sawyers on the 30th.

Don Coss and Dutch Savage welcome the fans to a huge night in Portland, Don Muraco and Roddy Piper will meet each other one on one for the Pacific Northwest Wrestling Championship, with “Playboy“ Buddy Rose as the special guest referee and Stan “The Man” Stasiak as the outside enforcer. But also we have a very special guest this week, in NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race. Welcome Harley, thank you Don and Dutch, this seems like it’s a huge night in Portland i didn’t want to miss it. I want to let all the fans know that I’ll be making my return to the Portland Sports Arena on the 30th of April and he will in action. Don Coss says that’s great news and he wonders who he will face.

1... The opening match of the night sees two of Europe’s finest wrestlers clash for the first time in PNW. Mark Rocco [2] against Marty Jones[0] . These two know each other so well, that’s its like wrestling ythemself. Each wrestler knows a counter for each other’s move sets. The match is flowing at an incredible pace, its hold for counter hold; these two know each other so well. Finally Mark Rocco gets the victory after a head scissors followed by a small package at 12 minutes.

The Guerreros have come out to the crow’s nest and want to address Percival Pringle and the Super Destroyers. It’s an extremely passionate promo, where they talked about their heritage, their father being a Mexican legend and they need to finish what the Super Destroyers started before they move on with their lives. So they want to make a challenge that’s a bit different than Portland fans are use too. We feel after weeks and weeks of fighting each other we need to leave a lasting scar on each other, so there’s a tradition in Mexican with goes back years, the ultimate feud ender, its called the “Máscara contra Cabellera”. We will put up our hair up in the match, so if you win, you get to shave our heads clean. But if we win we get your masks? The crowd go wild. Let’s put a full stop on this war Destroyers, on April 30th, let’s go all out to humiliate the other team. Percival Pringle comes out and accepts the challenge on behalf of the Super Destroyers.

2... In a 20 minute classic Matt Borne gets revenge for weeks and weeks of beatings from the hands of ”The Crippler” Rip Oliver. This was one of the most brutal matches in recent memory; both men went at each other from the first bell. This match went all round the ring side area. While on the outside, Rip Oliver slams Matt Borne’s head into the ring post which bust’s Borne head right open and now he has blood running down his face. Back in the ring referee Sandy Barr is checking on Borne who is losing a lot of blood. But Borne insist on carrying on. While Barr is checking on Borne, Rip Oliver has removed the turnbuckle pad in the opposite corner. Oliver shoves Barr out of the way and takes Borne by the head and goes to rammed it into the exposed turnbuckle pad, but Borne stops the move by putting up his foot up and instead ram’s Oliver’s head into the steel buckle. Rip Oliver is now pouring of blood down his face also. With both men bleeding heavily the match is becoming even more brutal; they have beaten each other senseless. The match looks like it’s over when Rip Oliver hits a deadly looking pile driver and covers Borne but Borne manages to kick out. Oliver picks Borne up as he is stunned that Borne kicked out and he goes for a second pile driver, but from out of nowhere Borne bear hugs Oliver and lands his belly to belly Suplex and covers for the 3 count. What a match. The crowd are cheering Borne for his victory although he does look like much of a winner.

3... The Sawyers, Buzz and Brett Wayne go to a no contest with the Nightmares when the Samoans and Sheepherders run in during the first five minutes. A full scale riot commences in the ring with all four teams. The Nightmares will definitely be looking at getting another match with the champions, while the Sawyers have their judgement day with the Samoans on April 30th.

4... For the second week in a row, Masked Superstar defeats Karachi Vice member Tiger Jeet Singh . This match came about because Great Mephisto and Gama Singh feel that Tiger Jeet Singh was unfairly beaten last week. Masked Superstar didn’t have a problem with this and quite happily beat up Tiger Jeet Singh again this week. The match goes about 10 minutes but Tiger Jeet meets the same fate as last week when Superstar hits his Swinging Neckbreaker for the 3 count. After the match Gama Singh runs into the ring and attacks Superstar with the Television belt, but Superstar is alert and turns to hit Gama as he runs in but Singh slides back out before he could get whacked by the Masked Superstar, but on his departure from the ring Gama Singh dropped his title belt and now Superstar has the title on his hand and raises it and points at Singh.

5... It’s time for the match everyone’s been waiting for Pacific Northwest Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Roddy Piper against the number one contender Don Muraco. The special guest referee ”Playboy” Buddy Rose is a black and white striped top, to indicate he is the man in charge and he makes that very clear to Roddy Piper who is like a lion pacing back and forth in his corner waiting to get his hands on Don Muraco. Both men look pumped for this one, Harley Race is putting over how important this match is and how he’s been in their position hundreds of times before so he should know. Stan Stasiak is on the outside making sure that no one interferes and “Playboy” Buddy Rose calls it right down the middle. This match has been building for months and months, it all started with the brutal beating on Christmas day night where Don Muraco attacked Roddy Piper dressed as Father Christmas. The bell rings and we are off, and Piper flies out of the traps and attacks Muraco with lefts and rights. Rose has to pull a raging Piper of Muraco, when Muraco gets a cheap shot in. The odds are really stacked against Piper in the ring with Rose in their as well. That cheap shot gave Muraco the advantage, and he has control of this contest early on. Muraco has Piper in the corner and gives him a knife edge chop, but that only wakes the champion up, he asks for another one, Muraco gives it to him, to nil affect. Muraco tries again, but Piper just looks at him and starts to fire out of the corner and Muraco is reeling so he drops to the outside, Piper goes to follow Don outside but Buddy Rose stops him, the crowd jeer at this, but Stasiak comes round to where Muraco is, who is now catching his breath and Stasiak tosses Muraco back into the ring much to the delight of the fans in the Portland Sports Arena. After 15 minutes of this hard hitting bout it’s starting to take its toll on these two wrestlers. Muraco is trying wear down the champion Piper with a chin lock, where Rose is right up in Piper face asking him if wants to give it up. Piper spits back at the referee Rose, throughout the match has try to stop any momentum built by Piper. Muraco picks up Piper and hits a powerslam and covers him and Rose goes for a fast count but Piper kicks out before the three count could be made. Piper gets up and goes straight into Roses face, but Rose pushes Piper away and Muraco rolls him up and Rose counts a fast 2 count before Piper kicks out. Muraco goes to irish whip Piper into the corner but Piper reverses it and Muraco goes straight into Rose who falls to the outside. As Muraco stumbles back into the centre of the ring, Piper kicks him in the gut and hits Muraco with a Piledriver and goes for the cover but there’s no referee, until Stan Stasiak slides into the ring and makes a count 1......2....... No Muraco kicks out. Piper has this one now; Muraco doesn’t know what’s hitting him at the moment. Piper hits him with sound stiff jabs and pulls him in for another pile driver and hits it, 1......2...... No wait Harley Race has pulled Stan Stasiak out of the ring and rammed his head into the guard rail on the outside. Piper is stunned, hes screaming at Race, as the NWA Heavyweight Champion makes his way back to the crow’s nest. Rose has made his way back into the ring, Piper is off guard, turns around and Muraco is back up and pulls Piper into the pile driver position and lands its, but that ‘s not enough he gives another pile driver to Piper and covers him, 1....2.....3. It’s all over at 25 plus minutes and we have a new Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Champion Don Muraco. “Playboy” Buddy Rose hands Don Muraco the title belt and raises the champions arm as we go off the air...

1... First match of the night sees Gama Singh versus Troy Martin, in this one fall contest. Gama is still having his problems with the Masked Superstar and it looks like he will have to face him one more time to finally settle this score. Singh who is joined by the ever present Great Mephisto at ringside, finishes off Troy Martin in a matter of minutes with a second rope knee drop followed by the pinful at 5 minutes and 16 seconds. The Television Champion looked solid here with the victory and moves on to April 30th with a possible show down with Masked Superstar one last time.

2.... Mark Rocco against youngster Art Crews, Rocco is leading the best of six series at the moment with two wins and zero defeats going into the second phase of the series. Rocco the vetran here takes full control of the contest and defeats the youngster Art Crews within a few minutes. He takes Crews over with a flying head scissors and rolls him up for the 3 count. Rocco will start round two of the best of six series with Marty Jones and Buck Zumhoffe next week on television.

The show opens with a recap of last weeks main event with Don Muraco winning the Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship. The win wasn't the most clen cut as the new champion will like you to think. Roddy Piper had Muraco beaten and Stan Stasiak was about to make the 3 count when NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race made his presence felt, as he pull Stasiak from the ring and rammed his head into the guard rail surrounding the ring. Piper was irate at this point, knowing Harley Race had just cost him the his title. As he turned round Muraco caught him of guard and landed not one but two pile drivers. Buddy Rose and the new PNW Heavyweight Champion Don Muraco celebrated.

We join Don Coss and Dutch Savage for the start of this weeks program and before they finish the introductions, Roddy Piper storms into the crows nest, "Tonight gentlemen, I have one thing on my mind, that's you Harley Race, I want you one on one! I'm hot at the moment, the Hot Rods in town and he's coming for the world champion. Race I know you said last week you'd be back in Portland at the huge supershow at the end of the month, well as you took my title from me, I'm going to take yours. This Hot Rod is smoking and he's coming for you. April 30th is going to my day to become the World Heavyweight Champion. Mark you calendars people of Portlands this Scots man going to bring the World title back home."

1...Marty Jones [0] picks up his first points in this best of six series to draw level with his opponant tonight Buck Zumhoffe [2]. These two have been feuding with eachother since the begining of the year. With the feud relativilty even at this point. A superb, fast paced contest with Jones ducking a Zumhoffe drop kick and rolling him up in a school boy for the win at 8 minutes. As the points table stands; Mark Rocco [4], Marty Jones [2] and Buck Zumhoffe[2].


2.... The Nightmares of Danny Davis and Ken Wayne will look tonight to take the Pacific Northwest Wrestling Tag Team Chmapionship from theSheepherders, Luke Williams and Butch Miller. The Nightmares managed to get a DQ victory over the champions two weeks ago, they look like they are growing with confidents each and everyweek. This week they take the fight straight to the champions and the fans are loving this new attitude from the Nightmares. With the absences of the Islanders, the Nightmares have really stepped up their game. Getting several close falls in this one, the crowd are begging for the a title switch. Back and forth action thoughtout the match, but in the end the experience of the Sheepherders sees them though and they get the win after a Gut Buster from Luke Williams followed by a 3 count, with Williams even needing the aid of holding the tights. The fans are gutted and so are the challengers, what more do they need to do win those titles. But one things for sure, that if the Nightmares keep improving like they are, it won't be too long.

3…. Next up is Matt Borne coming off his huge win last week against Rip Oliver against Karachi Vice memberTiger Jeet Singh who is accompanied to the ring by his manager The Great Mephisto. Borne has been the fastest rising star this year in Pacific Northwest Wrestling and has taken Don Muraco to the limit, pinned Buddy Rose and even holds a pinful victory over Television Champion Gama Singh. This is a very competitive match with both men getting a good amount o offence in against each other but in the end; Matt Borne gets the victory following a Belly To Back Suplex around the 12 minute mark. After the bout Tiger Jeet Singh gets a measure of revenge for the defeat and attacks Borne from behind, and he is joined by Gama Singh, until from the back The Masked Superstar comes to the rescue and cleans house. He grabs the house mic and tells Gama Singh that after hes done with Rip Oliver tonight he'll be moving on to the 30th of April to take the Television Title.

]4… ”Playboy” Buddy Rose makes light work of Steve Gatorwolf and makes him submit after just 5 minutes to the Full Nelson, Rose who put Billy Jack Haynes out of action several weeks ago, is still using his finishing move. After the bell, Rose refuses to let go of the hold, and referee Sandy Barr tries to break up the Full Nelson but Rose just pushes him away. There’s some commotion in the aisle way, its….. its…. BILLY JACK HAYNES. He’s make his return to Portland wrestling. Haynes is leveling Rose with some lefts and rights and clotheslines him to the outside. He grabs hold of the house mic and says that he’s been speaking to Don Owen and he has been told that he can have a one on one match with Buddy Rose at the huge show on the 30th of April. Rose is stunned; he doesn’t know what’s hit him.

Before the main event Don Muraco has joined Don Coss and Dutch Savage where he tell the hosts that he won the title on his own last week clean in the middle of the ring clean with a wrestling move. But one thing he needs to clear up is that he warned Stan Stasiak to stay out of his business, so as in a way of an apology he wants that sad old man Stan to come back to a Portland ring, for one more night. And in that match I want you to simply turn up and lie down for me and let me pin you. You owe this to me for you actions, you try to humiliate me last week and I want to do the same, for thinking like you could interfere in my business. So on the 30th of April I want you forget all about your dignity and everything you have done here in Portland, as it means nothing, you have nothing left in this world. See you on the 30th Stan the old man…

5... The main event sees The Masked Superstar defeat ”Crippler" Rip Oliver in a fantastic match that went almost 20 minutes. The Masked Superstar got the win after hitting his Swinging Neckbreaker. Rip Oliver was in full control for long parts of this match but he couldn’t find what was needed to finish off the man who is on a mission here in Pacific Northwest Wrestling. The Masked Superstar can now more onto facing Gama Singh for the Television title on April the 30th.

1... We open this weekend with Buck Zumhoffe defeating Steve Gatorwolf in a great display of this juniors talent to the live crowd. Zumhoffe lost his second match in the best of six series with Marty Jones and Mark Rocco last week, so he will be looking at picking up a measure of revenge and pride so he doesn't finish last in the series in his final match of the series next week against Mark Rocco. Back to tonights action, Zumhoffe is fully in business mode tonight as he disposes of Gatorwolf within a few minutes following a huge drop kick.

2... The Wild Samoans who are heading towards a showdown with the Sawyers Brothers have been told that any altercations involving themselves and the Sawyer will lead to the guilty party to be suspended. This week though the Samoans defeat the team of Troy Martin and Art Crews. These poor two kids didn't know what hit them in this one, as the Wild Samoans prove they are one of the top teams in this area, they finish of Martin and Crews after 7 minutes of nonstop pain for the youngsters. Afa hits a big Samoan Drop on Crews and gets the victory after the 3 count. In two weeks time the Samoans get the Sawyers in a Lights Out match on the 30th of April.

We are join as always by the hosts of Portland Wrestling Don Coss and Dutch Savage who are joined by NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race, Coss poses the question that everyone has been asking, will you meet Roddy Piper on the 30th for your world heavyweight title? Race said that it would be good for the Portland fans to see the world title defended, but he feels like Piper hasn't defeated anyone of note lately, so if he wants a shot then I want him to defeat a top challenger of my choosing next week. That top challenger is going to be "Playboy" Buddy Rose. And if you can defeat him, then ill face you for the title in two weeks.

1... The first match of the night sees PNW Heavyweight Champion Don Muraco defeat Jeff Sword in a one sided contest. Muraco shows why he is the Heavyweight Champion here as he is in full control of Sword for the entire match, Sword who is normally a tag team wrestler looked very much out of his dept. Muraco got the win with a deadly Pile Driver followed by a pinful at around 5 minutes. After the bout, Muraco joins Don Coss and Dutch Savage in the crows nest. He talks about how brilliant it is to be champion and how he's going to enjoy his reign as champion. He moves on to talk about how on the 30th of April he will be making an example of Stan Stasiak, for thinking he could get involved with champ. But its ok, because Stan Stasiak is going to do away with his wrongs and make everything right for the champion as he's going to just lay down for him, because Stan, you just don't have it anymore, especially to mix it up woth the Heavyweight Champion.

2...Mark Rocco [4] the points leader in the best of six series is facing he's fellow country man Marty Jones [2]. If Jones wins this then he will be in good standing for winning the whole series. He will be ahead of Zumhoffe, but this is his last match in the series, so to keep some pride and not finishing last is the only things on his mind tonight. Jones has come flying out of the traps, and is wrestling like he's got nothing to lose and to be fair he hasn't. These two know each other so well, like they last match a week or so ago, these two almost know what is coming next from the opponant, But its Jones that gets the win tonight to go joint top of the series with Mark Rocco. In the final moments of the match it looked like Rocco would be the one to take it, but the desire from Jones to win shone thought, when he hit a German Suplex for the win at 17 minutes.

The three Guerreros have come to the crows nest and address the Super Destroyers, in two weeks this all ends, one of us will lose something more than just a wrestling match, you will lose your masks, we will lose our hair. This is beyond personal now between us. At this point the Super Destroyers and Percvial Pringle have come to the ring. Pringle tell the Guerreros he'd love to get his hands on Gory Guerrero and teach him a lesson, but he can't. Gory jumps in and says he will put his hair on the line if Pringle does, then we can both be in the match and you might be able to get your hands on me, that you soon dearly want? Pringle dicusses with his Destroyers and agrees. The Match is set, it'll be Gory, Hector and Mando Guerrero against the team of Pervical Pringle and his Super destroyers, triple hair versus mask match. The crowd love the announcement.

3... The Super Destroyers defeat Danny Davis and Ken Wayne, the Nightmares when towards the end of the match, after another great performance by the Nightmares, the PNW Tag Team champions the Sheepherders rushed the ring and attacked the Nightmares. The Super Destroyers didn't mind so much as they just left while the Sheepherders continued their assualt. The offical match time was 10 minutes and 17 seconds. The Sheepherders, who have been taken to the limit lately by the Nightmares are making sure they don't come back for another rematch with the champions. Then from the back one half of the Islanders Sivi Afi has run to the ring and cleaned house of the Sheepherders. The Islanders were put out several weeks ago by the Sheepherders when they lost the titles also. Sivi Afi helps the Nightmares to their feet. King Tonga is notable by his absence.

4… The forth match of the night sees the Karachi Vice, PNW Television Champion Gama Singh and Tiger Jeet Singh against the team of The Masked Superstar and Matt Borne . The Masked Superstar will face Gama Singh for the Television title one last time in two weeks at the huge supershow. If the Superstar doesn’t win the title, he will leave Portland wrestling for good. The Great Mephisto is up to his usual antics on the outside, trying to distract and interfere whenever he can. The match goes for a good 15 to 20 minutes when the Masked Superstar traps Gama Singh in the corner after Matt Borne takes out Tiger Jeet Singh. The Masked Superstar goes for the Swinging Neckbreaker, and goes for the cover, as Sandy Barr is going for the count, Great Mephisto puts Singh’s leg on the bottom rope. Superstar thinks he’s won but Barr is explaining to him Singh’s foot was on the bottom rope, Superstar’s back is turned and Singh hits him with a low blow while Barr is dealing with Borne and Tiger who are fighting on the outside. Singh rolls Superstar up and Barr makes the 3 count at 23 minutes. Gama Singh has the advantage going into the huge title match on the 30th. While the Superstar must be worried that his career in Pacific Northwest Wrestling may be over if he follows the same fate as tonight.

5... The final match of the evening sees former Heavyweight Champion Roddy Piper against Doug Vine. Piper is all business tonight and makes light work of the Doug Vine. Piper is definitely a man on a mission and makes extremely fast work of Vines. He finishes off Vines with a sleeper hold around the 4 minute mark. Piper is calling Race out to face him one on one in the ring, the worlds champion come out to the ring, but alongside him is “Playboy” Buddy Rose. Harley Race indicates that before Piper can face him he needs to beats Buddy Rose next week. Buddy Rose goes for a cheap shot but Piper is ready for it, and blokes the punch. Just as he does that Harley Race lumps him in the face with a stiff shot, and the assault starts. Both Race and Rose are laying the boot in and Piper is down on the mat. Then from out of nowhere, Billy Jack Haynes runs to the ring and a full scale riot starts in the ring, Piper is back up on his feet and all four men are brawling all over the ring. In the end Piper and Haynes get the upper hand and Race and Rose leave with their tails between their legs. The shows ends here, with Haynes and Piper in the ring.

Arena Matches before Live Television Program


1.... In the opening contest this week, we see the team of Buzz and Brett Wayne, the Sawyers, they face the team of Doug Vines and Jeff Sword. Next week at the huge Portland Wrestling supershow, the Sawyers will finally met the Wild Samoans in what's sure to be a brutal battle between two teams that hate each other immensely. The Sawyers look nervous tonight, it almost feeks like they can't concretrate on anything other than the Samoans, which almost gives the team of Vines and Sword a surprise win. The Sawyers are so focused on the Samoans that it almost them the match. But in the end, Buzz Sawyers lands his running powerslam and covers Jeff Sword for the 3 count. The minutes and days are counting down until the Lights Out Match next week.

2... A special match up here with Matt Borne, Marty Jones and Masked Superstar face of against the trio consisting of Karachi Vice members Tiger Jeet Singh and PNW Television Champion Gama Singh alongside them is Rip Oliver, this team also has the added advantage of Great Mephisto. Mephisto is up to his old tricks by trying to get involved from the outside. Next week, the Masked Superstar will face off with the Television Champion Gama Singh, which could see the end of the Superstars stay here in the Portland area. Masked Superstar wastes no time waiting for next week, he's starting the match for his team and he wants Gama Singh. But unfortunately Gama isnt thinking the same and Tiger Jeet Singh starts the match, Superstar and Tiger have some really good back and forths wrestling before, Marty Jones is tagged in. Jones using his speed and European style to out match Tiger. The match goes about 10 minutes and we start the live program.

The credits roll and we are on the air.......

Television program credits start and we join Don Coss and Dutch Savage at the crows nest. Coss and Savage introduce the two teams to the fans at home and the action continues. As we stand the team of Gama, Tiger and Oliver are in control of this one. Oliver is taking out his two big defeats in the past weeks at the hands of Matt Borne and Masked Superstar, on Marty Jones. Jones has been isolated in the corner and the opposing team is taking turns to punish hit. Finally after several minutes of double and triple teaming of Jones, the english man escapes the corner and gets a hot tag to Matt Borne who cleans houses. The crowd are going wild for Borne, he tags in the Masked Superstar who finally gets his hands on Gama Singh. He beats on him for a few minutes and lands the Swinging Neckbreak and the covers for the win. The match lasted for 23 minutes. The losers of the match make their way to the changing rooms, while the winners celebrate in the ring to much fanfare.

1.... The final match in the best of six series, sees Mark Rocco [4] against Buck Zumhoffe [2]. This is the final match of the series, and if Buck Zumhoffe can draw level with Marty Jones and Mark Rocco in the series. Buck has nothing to lose, and he's going all out in this one. Unfortunately, Buck Zumhoffe couldn’t withstand the class and the pure wrestling skills of Mark Rocco, and Mark Rocco gets the win after 13 minutes of action following a German Sulpex, which he managed to bridge and get the pin. Mark Rocco wins the best of six series, with Marty Jones coming second and Buck Zumhoffe third. This means that Mark Rocco will now receive a title shot against the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Dynamite Kid in the future. After that match a video is shown of the legacy of the Guerrero family on the west coast of America, the video shows comments from Gory, Hector and Mando discussing the upcoming match against the Super Destroyers and Percival Pringle.

2…. The next match sees the return Sivi Afi take on one half of the PNW Tag Team Luke Williams . Luke Williams and his tag tem partner Butch Miller put Sivi Afi and King Tonga out of action a few weeks back. Sivi Afi, who is again without partner King Tonga take the battle to the Tag Team Champions. The match starts of as it finishes, an all out brawl with Sivi Afi trying to hurt Williams. Sivi Afi gets the win when he uses a thrust kick followed by a pinful at 10 minutes. After the bout Butch Miller runs into the ring with the New Zealand flag and attacks Sivi Afi. The attack doesn’t last long because the Nightmares have come in for the save. The Sheepherders retreat, Sivi Afi challenges the champions to a rematch next Saturday.

The PNW Heavyweight Champion Con Muraco has come to the ring, he calls out Stan Stasiak. Stasiak comes to the ring to face him. Stasiak does come to the ring. Don Muraco is calling Stasiak every name under the sun, telling him he hasn’t got it anymore, Stasiak doesn’t respond, other than to say that he will let his wrestling do his talking. Muraco is doesn’t like what hes hearing, so he slaps Stasiak round the face, Stasiak head rocks from the slap but he gives Muraco one straight back. Muraco doesn’t like that, and the pair of them start brawling in the ring, this rivalry is really starting to heat up now.

3….. The Super Destroyers quite literally destroy the team of Doug Troy Martin and Art Crews after 8 minutes of hell for the Martin and Crews. After the bout, Percival Pringle brings a bag into the ring. The Destroyer hold Troy Martin and Pringle reveals that in the bag are some clippers, Pringle looks into the camera and mouths, “This is going to be your fate Gory”. Pringles shaves some of Martins hair off. The Super Destroyers are looking good and waiting for their show down with the Guerreros.

4.... In the main event of the evening, it’s a special contest with NWA World Champions, Harley Race handpicked opponent for Roddy Piper, in”Playboy” Buddy Rose. These two have a storied history. The match starts of like a game of cat and mouse, with Buddy Rose doing all he can to stay out of Pipers way. Piper has been on a mission ever since he dropped the title weeks ago. Due to the hatred each wrestler, this is more a brawl than a wrestling match. Rose is in charge of this contest at the present moment, after a low blow behind the referee Sandy Barr back. This hard hitting battle has lead to both men bleeding from the head. Around the 15 minute mark Buddy Rose decided he doesn’t want any more of this beating and decides to walk back to the charging rooms. But from the changing rooms comes Billy Jack Haynes who stands in Roses way and Piper attacks. The brawl goes all round the ring, after 25 minutes Piper manages to get a pinful victory after the use of a pile driver. Piper sends Rose packing and now can concern himself with the NWA World Title tomorrow night. The end credits role, with Billy Jack Haynes and Roddy Piper standing the ring celebrating.

In a one fall contest with a 15 minute time limit


Welcome to a huge night of Portland Wrestling, with some great matches and fantastic action to be seen by all. The opening contest of the night sees two sets of rivals teaming together to face the common enemy. Matt Borne and Rip Oliver have been feuding throughout the year, with Matt Borne picking up the deciding win in their feud a few weeks back now. Marty Jones and Mark Rocco have been rivals for years and years across the pond in England, although this rivalry isn’t quite over as both men have a win over each other, so we could more junior action from these two. The match starts with Mark Rocco and Matt Borne; Borne is using his size and strength over Rocco to gain the early advantage. The match goes for a good ten minutes until Rip Oliver takes control of Marty Jones and gets the pinful victory when he hits he’s version of the Pile Driver for the win. An evenly Competitive match, but the heels got the win in the end.

Eric Embry is making his debut in the Portland area tonight. Embry is hot off the heels of a successful tour of Japan with All Japan Pro Wrestling. Embry, who is a cocky young man, doesn’t show much respect to his opponent Buck Zumhoffe. Zumhoffe is coming of the best of six series with Mark Rocco and Marty Jones. Zumhoffe is looking to get back on track and back to his winning ways. An even match, with Embry trying to cut corners to get the win, and in the end it works and Embry ducks and flying splash from Zumhoffe and rolls him up and holds the tights for the 3 count. Eric Embry makes his mark in his debut match here in Pacific Northwest Wrestling.

In a one fall contest with a 30 minute time limit


The Sheepherder recently forced the Islanders out of action for several weeks, after months of feuding the Sheepherders were able to win the Tag Team straps, with the help of some unlawful tactics. But two weeks ago the Sivi Afi made his return, but notable by his absence was his partner King Tonga. But tonight King Tonga is here, and the Islander look very determined to regain the tag team titles. The Sheepherders look very confident at the moment; you can see that the Islanders have some ring rust due to not wrestling for the last month; the Sheepherders take full advantage of this and are in control of this contest. There seems to be some sort of dissention between Sivi Afi and King Tonga, they’re just not gelling very well tonight making silly mistakes. Finally after 15 minutes of solid action the Sheepherder take the victory after Miller knocks Sivi Afi of the side of the ring, followed by Luke Williams and Butch Miller hitting a double gut buster on King Tonga and get the pin. The Sheepherders leave the ring. Sivi Afi comes into the ring and sees how King Tonga is; Tonga gets up clearly frustrated and pushes Sivi Afi away, and shouts at him, “Where were you?” Sivi Afi is trying to calm Tonga down, but King Tonga doesn’t want to now and storms out of the ring. Sivi Afi tries to stop him and explain when King Tonga thrust kicks him to the mat and he just walks away. Sivi Afi doesn’t know what hit him.

Gama Singh w/ Great Mephisto [Champion]

The Masked Superstar

In a one fall contest with a 30 minute time limit


The Masked Superstar has been chasing the Television title ever since he came to the Portland area, but Gama Singh has been able to sneak away title every time. The Masked Superstar has put his Portland career on the line here, and if he doesn’t manage to get the title out of the hands he will leave the Portland area. The Masked Superstar makes a fantastic start to the match, all guns blazing. Singh has taken protection from the Superstar on the outside. Great Mephisto is checking he is fine. I don’t know how he will get out of this one, to be honest. Back in the ring a few more minutes have passed and The Masked Superstar is still in control, the champion is on the back foot. Just when it looks like Superstar has this match wrapped up, the Great Mephisto trips him when he’s running against the ropes, and Singh sees his chance and takes it. The champion has started to gain the advantage; Mephisto has turned this match on its head. Gama Singh is fully in control of this match. Tiger Jeet Singh, fellow Karachi Vice has come to ringside. Singh has been working over Superstars right leg and its starting to wear down the Masked one. Superstar will now have to use his upper body strength now if he’s to win. Superstar starts to make a comeback but his leg gives way and he’s back down on the mat. Gama Singh is looking over confident at the moment, until from nowhere Superstar catches him in a small package and almost gets pinned. The Masked Superstar has got some energy from somewhere and he’s now in control of the match again. This could be the moment Superstar makes the title his, but his leg gives out and he falls to the mat. Gama Singh sees his chance and goes for a quick cover and indicates something to Tiger Jeet Singh. Tiger runs around the ring and out of sight of the referee, he holds onto Superstars good leg so he can’t kick out with his bad leg. 1.....2.....3, Gama Singh wins. He escapes from the ring and rushes back to the changing rooms before the Masked Superstar realise he just lost. He stands up and tries to explain to the referee what happen. The fans give Masked Superstar a stand ovation for all his hard work in Portland for the last few months. Masked Superstar must now stick to his word and leave Portland for good.

Lights Out Match


The Wild Samoans, Afa and Sika

The Sawyer Brothers, Buzz and Brett Wayne

With a 60 minute time limit


This match has been fuelled full of hate, brawls and blood. The rules for this match are quite simple, when a team that is unable to get up after ten count, the other team will be your victors. The match starts as you can imagine, kicks, fists and head butts flying everywhere. Referee’s Sandy Barr and Luke Brown have been told to simply stay out of the way and make the ten count when needed. Also for this match a group of local security guards have been employed to keep the fans in the arena safe from any fighting that could happen on the outside. The match starts at an all out pace with all four men fighting. There’s so much going on in the ring its hard to keep up. The Samoans are trying to take chunks out of the Sawyers heads. The match goes for a good 20 minutes, both teams are bleeding heavily, but either has come close to getting a ten count. The battle has go everywhere and the both teams have given it there all. The Sawyers bring a couple of wooden chairs into the ring and Brett Wayne and Buzz smash the wooden chairs over the heads of the Samoans and they both go down to the mat, and roll to the outside. Both the Sawyers drop to the floor and Buzz picks up Afa and hits him with a running power slam to the arena floor and Sandy Barr starts the ten count, on the other side of the ring Brett Wayne hits a huge side slam and Luke Brown starts the count. 1....2....3....4....5....6....7.....8....9...10, the Sawyers win, the Samoans couldn’t get back up after the chair shots and slams on the outside. Finally, this feud is over and the Sawyers have one. Both the Sawyers who are a bloody mess raise each other’s hands to the delight of the fans.

Billy Jack Haynes

“Playboy” Buddy Rose

In a one fall contest with a 60 minute time limit


Last month Buddy Rose put Billy Jack Haynes out of action for a few weeks with a concussion. After months and months of dodging and ducking facing Billy Jack, Rose finally agreed to face him one on one, but the match had to be a European style match with rounds of wrestling. For weeks prior to this bout Buddy Rose started to wear a head guard in his matches, well this head guard played a major part in the match, when a sly head butt to Billy Jack Haynes lead to him to be knocked out, the head guard must of been loaded with something. Also in Haynes absent, Buddy Rose has taken on the finishing hold of Billy Jack Haynes the full nelson. The match starts with Billy Jack Haynes flying out of the blocks and having Rose on the back foot for the opening minutes of the match. The match turns when Rose hits Haynes head into the turnbuckle, and the sensitive part of Haynes, his head due to the concussion knocks him for six and now “Playboy” Buddy Rose is in control. The match goes for 15 minutes or so and Rose has put his head guard on behind referee Sandy Barr’s back, he goes for the head butt again but Haynes blocks it and takes Rose by the head and rams him into the corner turnbuckle pad and it knocks Buddy Rose out. Haynes goes for the cover and gets the three count. The Head Guard was loaded and worked against Rose this time round. Haynes gets a measure of revenge against the “Playboy” Buddy Rose.

Pacific Northwest Wrestling Heavyweight Championship

In a one fall contest with a 60 minute time limit


The reason for this match goes back several weeks; Roddy Piper brought Stasiak in to be the outside enforcer for his world title match against Don Muraco. In the build up, Muraco was making it his business to tell Stan Stasiak to not in anyway get involved in the match. During the match, special guest referee Buddy Rose was knocked to the outside and Roddy Piper had the cover, and Stasiak slid into the ring, to make the 3 count, but Harley Race pulled Stasiak out of the ring, and rammed him into the guard rail head first. For weeks Muraco, has abused and bad mouthed the Portland legend and told him to come to the Portland Arena tonight and lay down for him. Stan Stasiak comes to the ring, wrestling for the first time in several years. The crowd still have a lot of respect for him, he's a multiple time heavyweight champion. The current heavyweight champion Don Muraco comes to the ring, he points and laughs at the challenge. He points to the mat and tells Stasiak to lay down and take the fall. Muraco is screaming at Stasiak to get onto the mat, Stasiak just says no. Muraco goes over to go nose to nose with Stasiak and slaps him. Stasiak head turns and the fight is on. Stasiak is really holding his own here in the ring tonight with the champion. Muraco wasn’t so prepared for Stan “The Man” to bring it like he is doing. The fans are really behind Stasiak, after about 15 minutes of action, the match starts to heat up, Muraco hits a side slam and gets a close fall, both men are slugging it out, both of them are wearing down, but Muraco still looks most likely to win, as he’s been in control for most of the match, not to take anything away from Stasiak who has held his own, just the champion has had the upper hand. Until from out of the blue, Stasiak hits his heart punch and Muraco falls to the mat, the match has taken so much out of Stan Stasiak he’s falling back to. The crowd are really cheering on Stasiak as he slowly starts to crawl over to the motionless body of Muraco, he gets one arm over the champion, 1……..2…………NO Muraco lifts a shoulder. Stasiak came so close, both men start to pick themselves up, it could go either way now, when Muraco sneaks a kick to the gut in on the challenger and pulls him in for the pile driver that won him the title, he hits it and covers Stasiak 1……2……no, Stasiak finds something left to kick out. Muraco is irate and levels Stasiak with a huge clothes line and covers him again, 1….2…..3. It’s over, Muraco retains the title, and Muraco was just too much for Stasiak, for a brief moment, Stasiak was a heartbeat away from winning, the fans give Stasiak a standing ovation.

The Super Destroyer - #1, #2 and Percival Pringle.

In a one fall contest with a 60 minute time limit


Another match here tonight, that has been weeks and months in the making. The feud took yet another twist a few weeks back when one of the Destroyers masks was taken in a brawl with the Guerreros. The Destroyers got an ouch of revenge when Gory Guerrero was jumped and nearly had some of his head shaved. This match is now a six man and if Percy Pringle is on the losing side then he will lose not only the match but his hair too. The match starts with Gory Guerrero wanting Pringle in the ring, but the coward Pringle hides behind his Destroyers. The match is an even affair with neither team wanting to commit to much as there’s a lot on the line. The Destroyers are in control, when they isolate Gory Guerrero in one corner and they take turns to hurt the legend. Finally Pringle gets into the ring, but he gets over confident and cocky. Pringle goes to taunt Hector and Mando on the outside of the ring, but this gives Gory enough time to make his way out of the corner and more importantly out of trouble. The fight is on now with Gory and Pringle, finally Gory gets the tag and the advantage is with the Guerreros. All 6 men are in the ring and its all kicking off in there, when the Guerreros hit a couple of double drop kicks to the Ds and Pringle is left on his own in the ring. Gory with the assistants of Hector and Mando, puts Pringle into the Gory Guerrero Special and Pringle submit’s at 18 minutes. Hector and Mando have jumped to the outside and grabbed hold of the Super Destroyers and ripped there masks off, and they run to the back without their masks on, but no one sees they faces clear. But back in the ring, Percival Pringle is trying to sneak out, but Gory catches him and Hector and Mando bring a chair in and sit Pringle down on the chair and Gory starts to shave Pringles head much to the fans delight.

In a one fall contest with a 60 minute time limit


The match starts out with both men cautious of each other. The first few minutes is filled out with Piper and Race feeling each other out. The table turns when Piper is locking up with Race and the World Champion sticks a knee into Piper gut. Race drops to one knee as Piper is holding his gut, and smacks him with a stiff left hand. Irish whip into the ropes from Race into a back body drop, followed by a knee drop to the head. Race gets Pipers right arm and locks in an arm bar and starts to tighten it and punishing the Portland star. Race wraps Roddy arm round the ropes and holds it for a 4 count from Sandy Barr.

Race puts the arm bar back on Piper and steps over him to add more leverage. Roddy Piper looks like he's in a lot of pain, but he starts to power up, but the world champion stops Piper momentum by jump and landing back on Pipers back. Race pulls Pipers arm out and drops an elbow on the hurt Piper. Race stretches the arm out and drops three high knees on the arm. We are about 15 minutes in and it’s been a slow but deliberate paced match with Harley Race being in control.

Race picks up Roddy Piper and props him in the corner and slaps him a few times, Piper is reacting to this by slapping himself, Race is confused and steps back as Piper is still slapping his face, its pumping him up, and now he's come out of the corner and starts to slap the world champion, the slaps have turned into fists. Piper has managed to push Race all the way back into the corner and he’s lamping him with lefts and rights. Race ducks out of the way and drops to the floor. While Race is collecting his thoughts and catching his breath, Piper come’s flying out of the ring and clothes lines him to the floor with his good arm. Sandy Barr is on the outside, and tells Piper to get back into the ring.

Several minutes pass with Piper having the advantage and he even gets a close fall. Race regains the advantage around the 30 minute mark, when he managed to reverse an irish whip and pull Piper back in for a shoulder block on Piper bad arm. Race gets Piper into a hammer lock and rams him into the corner. Piper is clearly in agony, Race goes for a pin 1.....2....nooo, Piper gets his foot on the bottom rope. This makes Race irate, who just starts stomping on the bad arm. Slaps Piper around the face, he twists Pipers bad arm and lifts him up with a wrist lock and drops him down to the mat. He lifts the arm and drops a leg drop over his arm and shoulder. Piper screams with the pain, he could have separated Roddy shoulder.

We are close to the 45 minute mark; Don Coss and Dutch Savage tell the viewers that if they finish the television program, they will bring you the match finish next week. Going into the final quarter of the match, and Piper is fighting thought the pain of his arm. And has found a second wind and he's taking it too Harley Race. Race Irish whips Piper into the corner, and Piper slips out of the way and Race charges into the corner trying to hit a knee block and Piper rolls up Race with his good arm 1.....2.........no Harley kicks out at the last second. That stunned Harley Race, now the match is in Roddy Pipers hands. Piper is fighting with his one good arm, he hits a russian leg swept followed by an elbow drop. Piper grabs hold of Race's leg and slaps a figure four leg lock on. Race is in the hold for a minute or so, and he sits up and starts hitting Roddy's injured arm. Roddy gets up and Race head butts Pipers arm, Race is getting desperate here trying to get the win. Harley Race suplex’s the challenger to the mat and goes to the top rope. Race comes off with a diving head butt, cover 1.....2..... no Piper finds the energy to kick out. Race is shocked and goes to referee Sandy Barr demanding that it was a three count. Race pushes Barr, and Barr pushes him back straight into a roll up from Roddy Piper 1.....2..... Kick out again. The fans in the Portland Sports arena are on their feet, Don Coss is putting over that there can't be long left in this one. Piper is whipped into the ropes and Race goes for a back body drop, but Piper telegraph's it and manages to lift Race up for a piledriver. Cover 1....2..... again Race kicks out. Roddy is hot now and Race scoops him up for a power slam, but Piper reverses into a school boy 1.....2..... Kick out, both men get up. Race scoops him again, but Piper slips over his shoulder and slaps a sheep hold on to Race in the center of the ring. The crowd exploded, they know Race is done. Race drops to one knee, he's almost out, drops to two knees, we could have a new world champion. The pain Piper is going thought is showing in his face, that's how much he wants the world title, the more pressure he puts on the sleeper hold the more pain it causes him. It looks like Race is out, Sandy Barr raise his arm once, down it drops, twice, down it drops, third time, the bell rings, we have a new NWA world heavyweight champion in Roddy Piper, the crowd go bananas. Piper has the belt he drops to his knees holding the belt. But no Sandy Barr has taken the belt away from him, he's explaining something to Piper, he hands the belt to Race, and tells the ring announcer something, the announcer tell the crowd that the 60 minute time limit had gone and still the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race. Piper had him beat; the crowd boo and jeer heavily as we go off the air.

Mark Rocco who won the best of 6 series two weeks against Buck Zumhoffe and Marty Jones, Rocco now moves onto a World Junior Heavyweight Title against fellow countryman Dynamite Kid next week. Rocco dominates the entire match and wins with Head Scissors Take Down followed by the pinful at 5 minutes and 45 seconds.

During the match, Marty Jones was in control of the contest but it was the newcomer who got the win due to some underhanded tactics.

The show opens differently from normal, as instead of going to the crow’s nest we go to the ring, where Stan Stasiak is standing. Stan Stasiak who came so close to taking the Pacific Northwest Wrestling Heavyweight Title one more time from Don Muraco. Stan addresses the crowd and says that after years and years of wrestling at the highest level possible it’s time to hang up the boots. Last week I wrestled a truly great champion in Don Muraco. I decided many years ago I wanted to retire in Portland; I had my greatest success here in Portland so it just seems right to end my career here. So thank you for the memories. The fans give Stasiak a standing ovation as he leaves the area for the last time. Don Coss and Dutch Savage welcome the fans to another great week of wrestling action, but say thank you and goodbye to Stan Stasiak. And also its goodbye to the Masked Superstar who lost to Gama Singh last week, and for that must leave Pacific Northwest Wrestling forever.

The Sawyer Brothers Brett Wayne and Buzz have come to the crow’s nest and are being interviewed by Don Coss and Dutch Savage. They say how they had a mixture of emotion’s last week against the Samoans, the lows of nearly losing, the pain the Wild Samoans inflicted to the sheer happiness of finally ending the feud finally with the Samoans. Now we move onto the Sheepherders and the Pacific Northwest Tag Team Titles. But before we get to them we need to defeat the Guerrero Brothers in a number one contenders match later tonight in a 2 out of 3 falls match. Brett Wayne looks over at Buzz and says that they are even setting their sights on the bigger prize and that being the NWA World Tag Team Titles. The Sawyers are on a roll and are pumped for their future.

In a one fall contest with a 30 minute time limit


Roddy Piper makes his first appearance since his near NWA World Title victory last week against Harley Race. Piper went to a 60 minute time limit draw with the World Champion last week, where in the final moments he had Race in his Sleep Hold and Race was out but Piper couldn't get the submission before the time limit was up. Tonight Piper faces Rip Oliver, Oliver has had his problems as of late with Matt Borne, Borne got the upper hand in that feud and Oliver will look to be bouncing back from the defeat. The match starts off with both men brawling all over the ring, not much wrestling in this, just straight up fighting. The match goes a good 15 minutes, where it’s mostly even, Rip got a near fall on Piper when referee Sandy Barr didn't see Oliver with his feet on the ropes. But in the end Piper was too much for Oliver and got the win after a shoulder breaker and the pinful for the 3 count. After the match Piper has an interview with Don Coss and Dutch Savage in the crow’s nest. He tells the fans that he was so close to the title that he wants it even more. He wants a rematch with Race, and he wants it sooner rather than later.

After his victory over Buddy Rose last week, Billy Jack Haynes feels it’s time to move onto bigger things, that being the Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Title currently held by Don Muraco. Tonight Billy Jack Haynes makes quick work of Buck Zumhoffe and defeats him in 8 minutes with a submission victory with the Full Nelson.

After the match Billy Jack tells Don Coss and Dutch Savage that he's making a petition to face Don Muraco for his title. He realizes that their maybe several contenders for his belt, but he feels he's the man. At this point Matt Borne comes into the crow’s nest and asks Don Coss and Dutch Savage what does he need to do to get a title shot around here? Borne in a tongue and cheek way reminds Billy Jack that while he was sitting at home with a sore head, he was here week in, week out. Haynes replies in a calm response, well there’s only one way to prove who is the number one contender and that's to face each other one on one. Matt Borne agrees and the two men shake hands.

Next up is Gama Singh who puts his Television Title on the line against Sivi Afi of the Islanders. Sivi Afi, who is a former Tag Team champion here in Portland, takes the fight to Gama Singh who as always is joined by the Great Mephisto his manager. Sivi Afi is doing surprising well against the champion and constant interference from his manager. Sivi Afi gets a close 3 count when he hits a Samoan Drop. Great Mephisto is looking worried on the outside and has called for help from the back in the form of Tiger Jeet Singh. It is announced by Don Coss that Great Mephisto and Tiger Jeet Singh laid the Indian flag over Steve Gatorwolf after beating him earlier tonight in the arena. Tiger has run to the ring and jumped on to the apron but Sivi Afi has him in his sights and thrust kicks him in back to the floor, Mephisto is getting concerned now for his man. He jumps up to the apron and tosses a folded up flag to Gama Singh. While Sivi Afi grabs hold of the Great Mephisto, referee Luke Brown tries to break it up, Singh wraps the flag round Sivi Afi's throat and yanks him back to the mat. Sivi Afi is in a lot of pain, and Gama Singh covers him, and to make sure he’s got the win, Singh takes a handful of tights to make sure of the 3 count happens. After the bell Tiger Jeet Singh and Great Mephisto make they way into the ring and start a beat down on the fallen Sivi Afi. Then from the back King Tonga runs into the ring and gets in the face of Gama Singh. The Karachi Vice back up, King Tonga who must of had a change of heart since last week when he thrust kicked his partner. He picks his partner up of the mat, THRUST KICK to the already injured throat of Sivi Afi. King Tonga has definitely turned on his partner now and the Karachi Vice are doing a beat down of Sivi Afi. Great Mephisto walks over to King Tonga and pass him the Indian Flag and points at Sivi on the mat. King Tonga stomps at him one more time and places the flag over his former partners lifeless body. It seems that King Tonga has joined the Karachi Vice as all 4 men stand in the middle of the ring with their hands raised.

The Main event of the evening sees a number one contenders match for the Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championship between Hector and Mando Guerrero against the duo of Brett Wayne and Buzz, the Sawyer Brothers. This is a two out of three falls match; the winners will go onto face the team of Luke Williams and Butch Miller, the Sheepherders.

First fall; both teams are coming off big match winning feuds with the Super Destroyers and Wild Samoans respectively. The match starts slow as both teams feel each other out. Neither team is throwing too much into the match, until Buzz explodes and connects with two running clotheslines on both Guerreros and scoops up Mando and goes for hi running Power Slam and hits it, followed by the pinful for the 3 count at 8 minutes and 12 seconds.

Second fall; the Sawyers begin to go all out trying to get the decisive fall, Brett Wayne is on fire in the ring until he misses a running charge into the corner, after Mando slipped out of the way and tagged in his brother. Hector is taking full advantage of Brett Wayne’s mistake and is taking the fight to him. Hector takes Brett Wayne down with a head scissors and rolls him up for the 3 count at 7 minutes.

Third fall; Buzz is looking very annoyed in the corner as he can't make his way into the ring to make the tag. After a few minutes of the Guerreros using their tag team skill where they are utilizing quick tags and double team moves, Buzz has seen enough and comes into the ring and strikes both the Guerreos with big forearms. Sandy Barr ushers him out of the ring, as Brett Wayne slowly makes his way over to the corner and makes the tag. Buzz is a house of fire in the ring, the Guerreros don't know what to do with him, he clotheslines Mando over the top rope to the floor, and scoops Hector up for his running power slam that saw him take the first fall. He goes to hit the running Power Slam but Hector slips out of the move and rolls up Buzz Sawyer for the 3 count at 4 minutes. Buzz is shocked and is sitting in the middle of the ring stunned, Brett Wayne consolidates his brother as the Guerrero's celebrate being the new number one contenders to the Tag Team Champions the Sheepherders.

As the fans are filing into the Portland Sports Arena, in the ring is Buzz Saywer, who with his brother last week failed to defeat the Guerrero Brothers last week to become the number one contenders for the Pacific Northwest Wrestling Tag Team Championship. Buzz looks in a fowl mood this week and his opponent Bill Howard looks like he's in the wrong place at the wrong time. Buzz connects with some ultra stiff shots that makes Howard just crumbles to the mat. Buzz punishes Bill Howard for a few minutes and gets back to winning ways, following a Running Powerslam "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer gets the pinful victory at 6 minutes.

If you expected a title switch here then your sadly mistaken, the Sheepherders dominate and toy with the youngster Art Crews, barely allowing Marty Jones near the action. The Sheepherder's who are heading to a showdown with the Guerrero Brothers for the tag straps, make quick work of their opponents this week. After a double gut buster on Art Crews, the Sheepherders get the win at 7 minutes.

We go to Don Coss and Dutch Savage in the crow’s nest, they welcome the fans to the television program and they start off by announcing due to flight issues the World Junior Heavyweight Champion Dynamite Kid won’t be here to defend his title this week against the number one contender Mark Rocco, but he will face him next week here live on television. At this point Mark Rocco strolls into the crow’s nest and announces that Dynamite Kid is running from him, and its been happening since he moved to the United States. But next week here wont be able to run anymore. Don Coss tells the fans that as a replacement main event we will see Roddy Piper team with the Guerreros against “Playboy” Buddy Rose and the Nightmares.


Match one

Brett Wayne Sawyer w/ “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer

Eric Embry

In a one fall contest with a 15 minute time limit




Brett Wayne Sawyer versus Eric Embry is the first televised match of the evening. Brett Wayne is coming of the disappointment of losing the number one contenders match last week with his partner and brother Buzz against the Guerreros. Eric Embry is a new comer to Pacific Northwest Wrestling who has shown that he doesn't mind taking a short cut to get the victory. Brett Wayne is joined to the ring by his brother Buzz who is there for morale support. Eric Embry isn't wasting any time at all, and as soon as the bell goes he flies out of the traps and charges at Brett Wayne. Brett Wayne who's back is turned as he runs over a few things with Buzz on the outside. Brett Wayne must of seen Embry charging at him as he side steps the charging Embry. Eric Embry bounces back off the turnbuckles and Brett Wayne hits him with a clothesline and covers him and nearly gets a quick win. The match goes for about 8-9 minutes when Eric Embry goes for roll up and uses the ropes for leverage, but Buzz on the outside sees this and knocks Embry arm off the rope and Brett Wayne reverses the roll up and gets the 3 count.

Don Coss and Dutch Savage are joined by the Sawyer Brothers in the crows nest. Both Brett Wayne and "Mad Dog" Buzz say how disappointed they were last week at losing to the Guerreros, and not being able to go onto facing the Sheepherders for the Tag Titles. Both men say they think they are holding the other one back and have decided to go in it for themselves. They make it clear that they aren't splitting up as a team, just going they separate ways until they feel the time is right to team again. Both brother shake hands and hug.

"While this is a beautiful moment, the Television Champion and the most dominate force in wrestling today the Karachi Vice are far more important than you too deciding you’re not good enough for the weak tag team division here in Portland." The Karachi Vice and Great Mephisto are in the ring and have interrupted the Sawyers. The Sawyers are restrain from going any closer to the ring but Dutch Savage. "While I told you people that the Karachi Vice was growing, I bet you didn't think it would become this big and successful, this quick. Well tonight we start something ever bigger, that's right something that will allow you fans to see your television champion every week here on television. Could you pass me that please." Tiger Jeet Singh passes Mephisto a bag, and from the bag he pulls out what looks to be a fishbowl with loads of paper in it. "This here is a fish bowl, but for more importantly, its fill with the all the top contenders from around the world on slips of paper. How this will work is quite simple, I will pull a top name from this bowl each week and Gama Singh will put his Television title on the line in a ten minute time limit match. And just to prove the doubters wrong that there will be nobody's in this ill do a test run." Great Mephisto puts his hand in and pulls out a piece of paper. "The first name is........THE MASKED SUPERSTAR!" The crowd get excited. Mephisto kills the excitement, "But this is just a trail, plus Masked Superstar had his chance and he's out of here. The first name is........is.......is...... AL SNOW!" The crowd sit around and scratch their heads. From the aisle way comes a young energetic wrestler, slapping hands with the fans in the front row.

Pacific Northwest Wrestling Television Title


Gama Singh w/ Great Mephisto, King Tonga and Tiger Jeet Singh [Champion]

Al Snow

In a one fall contest with a 15 minute time limit



The Great Mephisto welcomes Al Snow to the arena, he asks Al Snow "how does it feels to be the first challenger to Gama Singh from the Fishbowl Television Championship Challenge" He pass the mic, but before Al Snow gets the chance to say anything, Mephisto pulls the mic away, "That's great to hear, ring the bell referee, we've got more business to deal with today?"

Gama Singh clouts the unsuspecting Snow and connects with several fierce shots to the face and upper body, Al Snow doesn't know what hit him. Gama Singh picks up the junior weight and tosses him across the ring. This is followed by a power slam, and the televison champion applies the camel clutch and Al Snow submits in a matter of seconds around the 2 minute mark. After the bell, what's becoming all to familiar each week, Great Mephisto comes to the ring and unfolds the Indian flag and lays it over the fallen and beaten Al Snow in a sign of disrespect.

Last week Billy Jack Haynes declared that he was going to be making a move towards the PNW Heavyweight title after finishing off his business with Buddy Rose on the 30th of April. But Matt Borne felt, that privilege should of been his to get a Heavyweight title match for his efforts with Rip Oliver and taking Rose and Muraco to the limit in the early parts of the year. Due to the mutual respect each man has for each other, they agreed to meet tonight for the chance of facing Don Muraco. One thing must be pointed out there was clearly no hard feelings between two men last week. Both men shake hands at the beginning of the match and the contest has started. Matt Borne is in control for the opening few minutes of the match, controlling Haynes with a series of power moves. The match goes a good ten minutes when the action intensifies and Matt Borne gets a close fall following a Belly to Back suplex, but Haynes gets a shoulder up at the last second. Haynes has found a second wind after the match has been prominently been in Matt Borne's favor. Haynes hits a couple of suplex and starts to work over Borne's neck. Borne has Haynes in the Back Drop Driver position, but Haynes hits a standing switch and locks in the Full Nelson in the center of the ring. After the period of time Haynes spent working on Borne's neck, and its to much for him and he gives in and submits. The match goes 15 minutes, and the new number one contender to the Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship is Billy Jack Haynes. While Haynes is celebrating on the ropes in the corner, Matt Borne is sitting upright in the ring, holding his neck. He punches the mat and gets up. He knows he nearly had this match won, Haynes is still celebrating on the second rope and Matt Borne goes over and grabs the back of his tights and pulls him down. Billy Jack is surprised Borne is pointing at the mat and making a 3 count gesture with his hands implying that he's could of got the win tonight. He then puts his hand out to Haynes and both men shake. Borne leaves the ring with a distance look on his face, telling himself he should have won.

Before we go back to the action, Don Muraco has joined Don Coss and Dutch Savage in the crow's nest. Don Muraco starts by insulting the fans in Portland for thinking that the weather is nice here in Oregon going into the summer, when in Hawaii its hotter than this on a cold day. Muraco goes onto to discuss Billy Jack Haynes who became the new number one contender for his Pacific Northwest Wrestling Heavyweight Championship. First of all congratulations for making it to this level, and I'm sorry for your unsuccessful attempt at winning the belt, because Billy you have no chance at winning my title, so forget any dreams you have of winning it. And when asked about Roddy Piper, Muraco quickly wants the conversation changed, Don Coss asks Muraco about his feelings towards the soon to be returning Rocky Johnson, he replies simply, I hope he doesn't feel out of place in the opening match of the evening. The champ walks of laughing.

Next up is a special treat for all the fans in the arena and on television tonight as Roddy Piper is joined by the Guerrero Brothers Hector and Mando and they are facing "Playboy" Buddy Rose who's teaming with Danny Davis and Ken Wayne, The Nightmares in a special 6 man Tag match. Roddy Piper is a man on a mission at the moment trying to win the NWA World Title that he came so close to winning on April the 30th and the PNW Heavyweight title, that he was cheated out of. He's teaming with men in similar positions to Piper, they are both men on a mission, their mission being, winning the PNW Tag Team Titles from the Sheepherders. Opposing this team is the team of Buddy Rose and the Nightmares. The Nightmares who had seemed to have had a change of heart lately and were staying on the right side of the road with their short rivalry with the Sheepherders, have clearly decided there not going to stay there as they have decided to team with one of the biggest rule breaker of them all "Playboy" Buddy Rose. The "Playboy" looks in top form coming to the ring with two women, whom are dress very nicely indeed, he is gone back to living the "Playboy" lifestyle since his feud with Billy Jack Haynes didn't quite go to plan. The match is all about Rose hiding and avoiding Roddy Piper. The reason for Rose to be avoiding Piper, is for his part in "Hot Rod" losing his PNW title. The Nightmares have clearly gone back to their cheating ways, by double teaming the Guerrero's at any chance they get. Finally Piper gets his hands on the "Playboy" and Buddy Rose has found himself in the ring when the Guerrero's knock both the Nightmares out of the ring and begin to brawl with them on the outside. Rose is now face to face with Piper, and his two women on the outside try to get involved until Gory Guerrero grabs the pair of them and put one in a head lock and the other over his shoulder and marches them out of the ringside area. Back in the ring Piper is in control and slaps a sleeper hold on and puts Rose to sleep at around 22 minutes of action.
