soup23
I’m really waiting on that Gedo/Jado tag to knock my socks off but this was really good. Sasaki gets busted up while Hosaka gets his leg worked over. Gedo/Jado use weapons such as a kendo stick and also a lot of quick double team moves. The finish was surprising to me but got a good reaction with Sasaki picking up the win after a huge lariat. I know Mammoth was someone that was pegged to be a huge star and just for one reason or another never panned out. ***1/2 (6.9)
AstroBoy
By the end it got better but man Gedo and Jado just took almost all of this match to the point that it felt more like an extended squash to me. Now, in the long run, that did kind of work because the eventual comeback feels bigger when it comes. But I felt this could have had a bit more give and take. I liked the way that Mammoth took the beating and he seemed to have some talent for sure. I could have done without so much reliance on the interference and weapon spots. Satisfying finish, wish they would have changed it up along the way a bit more to get there. **3/
