Jericho gets inserted into this feud which is a little beneath him but not awful as a bridge feud. The match is good and high impact for the time it was given. Jericho continues to be less sloppy than I remembered as even his wild strikes like the spinning back kicks land. X-Pac pulls out the cheap victory with a low blow and roll up much to the delight of Tazz on commentary. **

I didn't think they had a ton of chemistry on this night. It wasn't bad but this does feel like a step back for Jericho in terms of card placement. They also didn't seem to be on the same page on a bridge up backslide spot toward the end here. X-Pac gets a cheap win and that was kind of a surprise.

Tazz is now on commentary, taking the place of Jerry Lawler who he injured on Monday’s edition of Raw.  He and Michael Cole talk about X-Pac having a falling out with Road Dogg, so it looks as if he’s moving away from the tag team division and into the singles ranks.  Spinning heel kick by Y2J and as Pac ducks out onto the apron Jericho nails him with a springboard dropkick.  He avoids the baseball slide and then whips Y2J into the ringside barricade.  Sleeper hold is reversed but Pac then counters with a belly to back suplex.  Bronco buster, however as he stands on the turnbuckles above his opponent to celebrate, Jericho gets to his feet underneath and powerbombs him to the mat.  Flying forearm followed by a bulldog for a two.  Pac gets his knees up on the Lionsault and after a low blow, the upset pin with a backslide, using the bottom rope in the process for added leverage.
