sek69
cubsfan reported tonight that La Parka passed away tonight from the injuries he suffered doing a dive in November, he was 56 years old. Despite always being confused with the more famous LA Park, he was one of AAA's biggest stars really up until Psycho Clown broke out a few years ago. gordi
http://www.thecubsfan.com/cmll/2020/01/11/la-parka-1966-2020/ cubsfan's write-up is well worth reading.
NintendoLogic
Interesting to see CMLL acknowledge him even though he never wrestled a day for them, at least not as La Parka. I don't think that would have happened if Paco Alonso were still alive.
hammerva
Yeah I have a feeling that they thought it was LA Park. Which again is probably worse given it is the other major lucha promotion
sek69
I'm sure they knew which Parka it was, CMLL has been better lately acknowledging folks that passed away even if they didn't work for them. AAA Park was a big enough star it would have been a real dick move to not say anything.
