GSR
World Wrestling Federation Superstars of Wrestling Aired November 16, 1991 (Taped October 21, 1991) Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, Ft. Wayne, IN Rockers vs Barry Horowitz & ? Update: recap of Ric Flair vs Jim Neidhart from last week and the subsequent attack by the Beverly Brothers. Neidhart is now out of the Surivivor Series and who will replace him? Repo Man vs Reno Riggins Sgt. Slaughter at a school with some children where he pledges allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. He’s got his country back, kisses the flag and is then mobbed by the school kids. IRS vs Greg Valentine - after a terrible looking ref bump IRS nails Valentine with his briefcase. As he covers him, the Big Bossman races down the aisle and pulls IRS off ‘the Hammer’ at the count of two, but ends up getting Valentine DQ’d for his interference. Survivor Series Report INT: Jack Tunney - says he has taken the request for Randy Savag’s reinstatement under consideration. Natural Disasters (w/ Jimmy Hart) vs Burt Stiles & Tom Stone Funeral Parlour w/ Hulk Hogan - Paul Bearer has the special casket he has prepared for Hogan and he goes and checks it to make sure that the Undertaker isn’t hiding inside it. He then goes to check the upright coffin but before he can, Ric Flair makes an appearance on the set. Flair gets in Hogan’s face and says how he’s burst the bubble that Hogan’s been living in, that he has the real World title with him and “Whatcha gonna do when Ric Flair runs wild on you!” Hogan comes back at Flair but the upright coffin opens and out comes the Undertaker who hits Hogan in the back with the urn and the two of them attack him. Roddy Piper and Randy Savage leave the broadcast booth (armed with chairs) to stop the attack. Savage hits the Undertaker once with a chair but he doesn’t sell it, he pulls off Hogan’s chain and then Flair, Bearer and Undertaker make their way to the back before Flair and Piper help Hogan. Great angle.
