  1. Recap of Jim Cornette’s attack on Ron Wright from last week
  2. INT:  Tony Anthony & Ron Wright - they’ve talked to the Commissioners and the Board of Directors and at Thanksgiving Thunder the two of them will be facing Bruiser Bedlam and Jim Cornette in a tag team match.  The Dirty White Boy says it will be an honor to team with Ron and he promises to take care of the Bruiser and will leave Jim Cornette all to him.  Ron says that he’s never looked forward to anything as much as he is this match that is coming up.  He calls Cornette a droopy drawed, puny looking, pus bellied, potato muscled idiot and tells him that when he gets through with him his own momma isn’t going to be able to recognize him.  He’s going to rub Cornette’s nose in the mat, break his face and they’ll be carrying him out of there an ambulance.  He and the Dirty White Boy will walk out of that match two happy men, you can take that to the bank! I’ve missed fired up Ron Wright promos but not too sure I want to be seeing him wrestle.  He’s not looked good at all (bar throwing a mean looking punch) on the few occasions he’s had to do anything physical, and I would rather have a singles match between the White Boy and Bedlam, where Wright gets to strap Cornette if the White Boy wins.
  3. Scott Studd vs Bryant Anderson (w/ Ole Anderson)
  4. INT: Bryant & Ole Anderson - Jim Ross was very impressed with that victory but Bryant says he’s not surprised he’s impressed.  He’s only been in Smoky Mountain Wrestling for three weeks and is already a champion and it only took him that long because he hadn’t had a shot until now.  Ole says that you see an Anderson in this kid and wrestling is what wins around here.  They haven’t forgotten Tracey Smothers and hope that he’s been watching, because if he has he will have seen what’s going to be in his future when Bryant gets the arm breaker on him.  Smothers joins them and says that they don’t have to dog him whilst he’s out in the back, they can have their match any time.  Bryant says that Tracey might be able to beat him on the golf course, but it’ll be a different story when he steps in the ring with him.
  5. INT: Bob Armstrong - he’ll be facing Abdullah the Butcher at Thanksgiving Thunder, but before we get some comments from The Bullet they’ve got a video package of Abdullah.  Set to War Machine by KISS, we get plenty of clips of Abby in Puerto Rico bloodying up jobbers, facing the likes of Carlos Colon and Bruiser Brody and a pretty grim looking clip of him getting his scarred forehead stitched up.  Jim Ross narrates over it and says how the Butcher has not been pinned in the United States in over ten years and how the likes of the WWF and WCW won’t touch him.  Very effective piece for getting Abby over as this deranged and crazy madman.  Armstrong never dreamed Cornette would get Abdullah the Butcher.  He’s had a good run, has beaten everyone Cornette’s bought in and thought he could do it all.  What do you do though with a man that weighs 450lbs and is a raging bull from the Sudan?  The only thing that is keeping him going is knowing that should he get past the Butcher, Jim Cornette has got to crawl across the ring, and in front of thousands of people kiss his feet.  Cornette will be the biggest Thanksgiving Turkey of all and having him kiss his feet is worth more to him than a million dollars.  Bob seems far too excited about the prospect of having Cornette kiss his feet.
  6. Recap of Tammy Fytch setting Boo Bradley on Scott Studd and Sean Casey from last week
  7. INT: Tammy Fytch & Boo Bradley - Jim Ross informs Tammy that due to Boo’s actions last week, Chris Candido’s suspension has been extended for two more weeks.  She isn’t happy by this, when Les Thatcher interrupts her and says that the director has just got his attention and at the front office there is a long distance call from Chris Candido who’s holding waiting to speak to her.  She thinks that he’s heard about this suspension and is probably furious so she goes to speak to him leaving Boo all alone.
  8. Confrontation w/ Cactus Jack & Boo Bradley - Cactus says that he had to take whatever opportunity he could and this was a chance for him to speak to Boo as he sees a lot of mistreatment going on and he deserves better than Tammy Fytch and Chris Candido.  He asks him a few questions and it transpires that Boo lives in a dog house in the back garden (although it has a hole and he gets wet), whilst they pay him $6 so he can buy shiny toys.  He gives that money to Fytch and Candido to look after though, as they say he isn’t too smart and he wouldn’t want to lose it.  Cactus says that it’s about time he puts an end to this and offers Boo his hand.  Boo is all confused and says that Chris Candido is his friend and if he becomes friends with Cactus he can’t be friends with Chris.  Cactus tells him he is one of the toughest wrestlers in the world, he should have some dignity and he shouldn’t be out here on a chain, eating out of a bowl or living in a dog house.  All he has got to do is walk away and he can team with him and they can go after the World tag team titles.  Tammy Fytch is back out and she doesn’t know what’s going on but there was no phone call.  She tells Boo that she told him not to talk to anyone and then whispers what would happen to him if he did to talk to anyone other than her.  At this point Bradley attacks Cactus and the two of them start brawling all around the announcing desk.  Eventually Brian Lee and Lance Storm come out to stop Boo beating on Cactus and Tammy tells him that they have to go to the back.  I enjoyed this and am starting to like the Boo Bradley character after being real uncertain of him at first.  Rechner is doing an excellent job playing him, very softly spoken and ‘simple’ and I’m looking forward to potentila Cactus - Boo matches down the line.
  9. Bruiser Bedlam (w/ Jim Cornette) vs Chad Austin (from Extreme, PA!)
  10. INT: Jim Cornette & Bruiser Bedlam - Jim Ross says that Cornette looks like he hasn’t got a care in the world, when it could in fact be his last go round.  Cornette says that it won’t be his last go round, and that guy Bruiser Bedlam just got finished with in the ring is Ron Wright 40 years ago!  He’s sick and tired of hearing how Ron Wright was the greatest wrestler in the history of Knoxville and how Ron & Don Wright rode rough shot over all the tag teams.  Ron is a second class wrestler and a third class fighter and there ain’t no tough man in Tennessee except Bruiser Bedlam, the man he manages.  Ron Wright never beat anyone in his life, now he’s 117 years old and when he was in school they didn’t have history.  He told Ron once to act his age and he died!  If he wants to relive his glory years, the Bruiser will take care of the Dirty White Boy and he’ll whip him like he did before.  He’s going to tear out that hip implant, break that knee and send that arthritis ridden body back to the rest home in Sunnydale where he belongs.  Then will the crowning achievement of his career, the ‘Final Conflict’, the last time he’ll ever be able to send someone after Bob Armstrong, for if Abdullah the Butcher beats him at Thanksgiving Thunder he’ll be gone from Smoky Mountain Wrestling forever.  He’s going to destroy two legends in one night, and do it with a smile on his face.  Good fired up interview from Cornette and you can tell when he’s into it as you can see the sweat on his brow and running down his face, just like it is here.
  11. INT: Cactus Jack & Brian Lee & Lance Storm - dressing room interview. Cactus says that maybe Tammy Fytch isn’t doing as good a job at counselling Boo Bradley as she should because apparently Boo doesn’t know that much about him?  Well he’s Cactus Jack, and soul mate or not, no-one treats him like that (before head butting a locker).  He says that he has commitments all over the world and knows that Brian Lee and Lance Storm have commitments with Candido and Bradley, but he can make it to Thanksgiving Thunder and will be there.  He gets on his knees and begs the two of them to work something out as he wants his name on the contract.  He harbors no resentment to Boo, he just wants to choke him until his eyes pop out, but it’s all in the name of making him a better person.  No-one said this mission he set out on would be easy and it hasn’t been so far.  Great stuff from Cactus and the promos have been on fire in this episode.
  12. New Jack (w/ D-Lo Brown) vs Ricky Morton - Morton attacks New Jack with a chain even before he’s been introduced and blasts D-Lo too, before getting another shot in on New Jack busting him open.  As the two continue to fight Mustafa sneaks in the ring and jumps Ricky from behind for the DQ and they start double teaming him until Robert Gibson evens things up.  D-Lo gets in on the action to help out The Gangstas and even though Brian Logan, Sean Casey, Steve Skyfire, Chad Austin, Scott Studd, The Infernos, Lance Storm, Brian Lee and Tracey Smothers all come out to try and keep them apart it’s no good as the show goes off the air with the fight still in progress.

Bold matches are PWO recommended
