To me it’s high end NJPW tag, Hashimoto is sooo brutal in there, Muto sells a nuclear brainbuster of Hash like he was legit KO, he seems out for a short moment, not really kicking out of a pinfall. Chono makes the save when it’s needed to avoid going over the top and Nishimura looks great as a young and ambitious warrior. Oh and you need to watch the entrances for this one, it’s just amazing. Hashimoto and Osamu come fisrt, Hashimoto wears a Inoki robe, takes it off and lays it on the platform, then takes a few steps forward and lays his own robe then carries on toward the ring not looking back, it’s intimidating and somewhat symbolic, really nice. Then, it’s the Nwo entrance, Chono’s theme, they look charismatic in the total contray of their opponents. They walk midway to stop in front of Nishimura, on the platform looking straight into their eyes with that fire he has. Then Osamu turn his back grabing the collar of his gi to get to the ring, basically stating “I’ll kick your ass”. So even if it’s not on par with the best epic ajpw did at that time, it’s still really a pleasure to watch this type of thing with njpw guys. 3.75* Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
