This was the best match of Fantastica Mania so far, but didn't hit the level that both men hit with Bandido from the year before. As great as Hechicero's matwork and some of Dorada's insane counters were, there were odd things like Dorada almost submitting to an armbar (he'd nod and then change his mind) and then he finally got free and acted like nothing was wrong at all. They've got the chemistry for a classic, but this wasn't the night for it.

Was in the room for this and would say that Averno/Atlantis Jr was definitely the MOTN. This had some fun moments but suffered from some of Dorada's more airy offense. It works a lot more than it doesn't, but with this particular stylistic pairing, it was especially notable and dragged this down.
