The whole teacher/student, senpai/kohai relationship is fairly commonplace in Japanese wrestling. While this match has that, it also has the spectre of Hana Kimura hanging over it given the relationship that she had with each of these two. Despite this, these two don't let up on each other in the least . Rina jumps Konami at bell but Konami gets her revenge quick as she uses a folded chair to snap Rina's neck over the top rope in a nasty looking spot. After that, Konami starts focusing on Rina's arm but despite some quality work this doesn't really keep Rina from driving straight at Konami when she's on the attack. Konami wisely adjusts her plan of attack going after Rina with a hanging sleeper in the corner than taking off her belt to choke Rina. The finishing stretch produces some tremendous drama with Rina going all out with her big offense with Konami trying to survive while sneaking in either a arm submission or a sleeper.  The end result is one of the best Stardom matches of the last few years. Definitely something that needs to be checked out!
