This could be rather awesome, though I wonder if this means anything good or bad for the Sputnik Monroe HBO movie.

It sounds promising. It's hysterical because I had a screenplay about a pro wrestler called 60 MINUTE BROADWAY and it was shopped around to the various studios. 20th Century Fox came really close to buying it but the general consensus was always "wrestling movies just don't do well" and READY TO RUMBLE was always cited. As if that was a great movie that just never got a chance. A buddy of mine and I ended up trying to adapt it as a comic book but ended up with the same resistance from comic companies.

 

I'm glad that the barrier seems to be broken down as the backdrop is great for telling stories in a unique atmostphere. I just wish it was my script first

Didn't an All In The Family episode have an exchange where Meathead tells Archie that wrestling is fake, they know who's going to win...and then Archie says, "They know, but I don't!"
