    Last few minutes of what looks like a very fun house show match. Rip Rogers still has it in 1999. He and Lee (The Suicide Blondes) win the tag titles. They do a promo where Rip does all the talking back in the not-studio. Jim Cornette has ordered them to defend the tag titles the following Tuesday night. They have words for Flash Flanagan and Trailer Park Trash, two of my favorite late 90s forgotten workers. Flanagan and Jason Lee end up in a fight and Cornette makes a match for them later in the show.

    Looks like Rob Conway threw rubbing alcohol in Nick Dinsmore's eyes at the start of the match and then went right after Damaja. Dinsmore comes back near the end of the match bandaged up and goes after Conway. He ends up eliminated. Damaja ends up winning the OVW title after a few more minutes of action.

    Lots of wrestling on this show. Solid match that goes longer than usual. You can tell Rikishi is leading Angle, but Kurt does show a ton of raw potential. Great false finish when BSK try to interfere and Angle fights them off, and another when Rikishi tries to put his feet on the ropes. Angle does an overhead throw from the top, which is a nice bump for Rikishi, which gives him the Power Pro title. Good stuff.

    A television match given time for a change, and it's a pretty fun brawl that spills into the parking lot, with Grimes taking a suplex on the hot July pavement. Doug Gilbert would absolutely not get over in a different environment, but he definitely gets over in this one.
