I'll give them credit for a solid finish. But that match was too long, and heatless because of the work rather than the crowd. **1/2? 3/4?

Just. a. match. Some fun spots to make it more than TV, but there is nothing that makes this violent, special or the culmination of any kind of prolonged feud.

Officially 1 hour in and 1 match has finished. This show may or may not finish by the time the office opens tomorrow.

AJ vs. Shane -- ***1/4 Absurd, but well done and AJ bumped hard to make it work. Finish puts it over the top.

At least AJ won cleanly and strongly at the end. Not sure how to rate it but it was fun, didn't go a half hour and had a few big time spots. Hope AJ is satisfied.

Kudos to Shane for getting all the way across on that dropkick. They're going longer than they should've. But at least we're already up to the stunt man spots.

The answer to that question is how he carries himself, how the runs the ropes, his Wile E. Coyote corner attacks and every other part of his game that screams fortunate to be on the card. His run in the Shield says he can be more. But we haven't seen much of it in the last few years outside of a couple select occasions.

To be fair, Ambrose is adding zero to it as well. Hopefully the calm before the storm.
