  1. I am not disagreeing with either of you about Ricochet, but you do lose me with the Rey comparison. Rey was never a strong mic worker and still isn't, but even at his worst, he was miles better than Ricochet. He also has a much cooler look than Ricochet. Colorful masks, colorful gear, colorful moves. Ricochet has the colorful moves but nothing else. (I can't speak to his presentation in Lucha Underground, as I never had access to it at the time.) I'm not sure what the solution is, but I do agree with you guys that it starts with Ricochet actually being used on the show.
  2. Riddle is a liability. They clearly want to jump off that sinking ship or hope the ship disappears at sea so they can start pushing him again. Either/or would probably be fine with this company.
  3. That's a complicated question.
  4. What I said in the PPV thread still stands: I want Jimmy and Jey to take that hurt, that pain, that shock, that betrayal, and use it against Afa and Sika in the most savage manner possible. Beat the shit out of them, spill their blood, bite their flesh off. Then turn to Roman and SCREAM: "How do like THAT, Uce???" (I've been watching too many horror movies. Can you tell?)
  5. Ricochet absolutely should be used better. Unfortunately, he has no personality whatsoever. He's like a blank sheet of paper whenever a microphone is placed in front of him. Not that I'm defending WWE, but I have to imagine it's hard for Vince/Bruce/the writers to get excited about a guy with such an obvious lower-midcard ceiling. Where the company is failing is not using throwaway shows like Main Event to give guys like Ricochet more practice on the mic and multiple opportunities to try stuff out, fail, and try again on a show where nothing matters. Putting them out there for 8-minute "good rasslin" filler matches is completely useless, because that is never, ever going to be the avenue for a guy to elevate himself up the card.
  6. There was a trial on Smackdown - "Law and Otis" - with JBL as the judge. JBL was bribed by Miz and ruled that Otis had to defend the briefcase against Miz tonight at the Hell in a Cell PPV. Tucker smashed Otis in the head with the case, turned heel, and Miz took advantage of the interference to win the match and Money in the Bank briefcase. Tucker's excuse was that he was tired of Otis getting the spotlight, tired of carrying Otis, and Otis cannot "tie his shoes" or "function" without Tucker.
  7. If Otis still had the case, Orton winning would make a lot more sense. Otis cashing in on Orton down the road, with an assist from Edge, would've been a feel-good moment.
  8. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
  9. Either I'm tired or Drew vs. Orton has been the worst match of the night so far.
  10. Why is Orton wearing jogging clothes?
  11. Agreed. But at least the fire extinguisher spot was a logical defensive move.
  12. So much for the women main eventing anything tonight...
  13. WHY, TUCKER, WHY?
  14. A useless match, but I guess they wanted to give everyone time to piss and shit - pretty much all Jeff Hardy is useful for.
  15. Imagine the deep hurt, the severe mental and emotional pain, the sheer shock and betrayal The Usos must be feeling right now after seeing Afa and Sika embrace Roman. Breaks my damn heart...
  16. AFA AND SIKA!
  17. The finish would've been better if Roman didn't use some weak UFC lock that hardly looked like it would hurt a fly. UFC is the worst thing to ever happen to professional wrestling.
  18. Damn, Roman can act!
  19. Why are all of these useless assholes in the ring?
  20. Either the ref is a terrible actor or he's begging Jey Uso to quit for...reasons.
  21. Prediction: Jimmy Uso comes out and says "I quit" to save his brother from more of a beating from the Tribal Chief.
  22. That means Drew vs. Randy is probably main eventing. Why? Tired of Vince's "Raw is automatically better" fetish.
  23. The problem is, he's in the "sports-entertainment" division now, and he's not going to out-(sports) entertain R-Truth.
  24. Remember when Drew Gulak was having amazing matches with Daniel Bryan and seemed to be in the beginning stages of an interesting push?
  25. Road Dogg is a blithering redneck imbecile, and to think I once considered him a great Twitter follow (a long time ago, in a land far, far away). Shame about Danny Burch. I used to be fan of his, like ten second ago until I opened this thread and read that he's a selfish, useless prick. I already liked Helms, but he just went up several notches in my book.
