Is Impact the best promotion in wrestling history?

Rock is above "da bidness." Vince, Trips, and WWE need The Rock more than he needs them. Hell, his bailout of Vince purchase of the XFL entitles him to a lifetime "do whatever the fuck he wants" card when it comes to relations with WWE.

    AEW Dynamite - October 21, 2020

Keep it classy, Jelly Janela... I see the pros and cons to this: AEW treating its wrestlers like actual "independent contractors" and allowing them to do other things is good under normal circumstances, but moonlighting on indie rasslin' shows - especially when you don't have to - is an absolute hazard during these Covid times.

    AEW Dynamite - October 21, 2020

This moment-by-moment pictorial account of the situation makes AEW look so astonishingly bad and unprofessional, mere weeks after the Matt Hardy debacle. https://www.cagesideseats.com/2020/10/22/21529009/alex-reynolds-knocked-out-aew-dynamite-scary-dark-order AEW really needs to get their shit together when it comes to worker safety and concussion protocols.

    Riddick Moss: Workrate Warrior

Random post-midnight thought: Anyone surprised that Vince hasn't renamed him Dick Moss yet? Surely the thought has crossed Vince's mind once or twice during those drunken late nights at the office, followed by fits of immature giggling.
  5. - Great worker. One of the best in history. - Can ground and pound with the best of them on RAW Underground (R.I.P.), baby! - Former WWE 24-7 Champion. - Ranked 412 out of 500 in the 2017 PWI 500. - Somehow outlasted his former tag team partner Tino Sabbatelli, who has a better look and more charisma in his pinkie finger. That just goes to show you what an exemplary worker Riddick Moss was, is, and always will be. - Their team name was the God Gifted Athletes, which is exactly what Riddick Moss is. - Google lists him as "Trained by: WWE Performance Center." Can't beat that, even if you tried!

WWE TV 10/19 - 10/25 No NBA, no happiness

NXT really is a dead brand. There is zero discussion about the Wednesday show on PWO - ZERO - every single week. I didn't watch it either, but I'm deliriously thrilled that Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan (with Pat McAfee) are the new NXT Tag Teams Champions. I've always been a fan of those guys - especially Burch - so it's nice to see them getting a real push with a big time manager/wrestler. McAfee exceeded expectations and looked like a major star against "good rassler" Adam Cole a month or two ago.

    AEW Dynamite - October 21, 2020

I haven't seen the segment yet, but an actual Tony Award winner just praised it.
  8. UPDATE Batista just responded. ANOTHER UPDATE (9/14/20) This isn't going away... Andrew Yang On How A Joe Biden And Kamala Harris Win Could Help WWE Wrestlers
  9. Doubt he needs that when the evidence is overwhelming and there are enough former talents (Hager, etc.) ready to bust this wide open. But WWE pissing off people within the company - like a Paige type - probably won't help.
  10. Not that this means anything because of how fake the show is, but he seemed like a total dick on Total Divas, which only stood out because he was such a bland babyface wrestler. Guys like Gabriel, with their flippity-floppity bippity-boppity style and not an ounce of charisma or screen presence, are absolutely useless to me as it is. Add tweets like this and it's just icing on the shit cake.

WWE TV 10/19 - 10/25 No NBA, no happiness

Nothing will happen. Nothing ever happens. Maybe if Biden wins and Yang actually gets to do half of what he's talking about.
  12. Jake Hager and Andrew Yang absolutely destroyed Stephanie here.

WWE TV 10/19 - 10/25 No NBA, no happiness

Extraordinarily dumb people usually are. Forrest Gump never had a bad day in his life.

WWE TV 10/19 - 10/25 No NBA, no happiness

I don't follow this stuff at all. How are the two linked? Can someone please explain it to me.

WWE TV 10/19 - 10/25 No NBA, no happiness

Riddick Moss, welcome to The Microscope!
  16. Nicest use of this Vince meme ever.
  17. No worries, man. What's with the HHH Nazi references? Did I miss something? What did he say about the homophobic gay porn star?

Dark Side of the Ring: Viceland docu-series

Completely disgraceful that Grizzly Smith still held a backstage position with WCW into the mid-'90s and even appeared on-camera at times.
  19. I agree with you, but what I don't understand is how those twits at IWL could be confused about whether they were contacted by the venue or by Will. That would be pretty clear cut, no?
  20. I clarified that comment in a follow-up post, but you're too busy trying to get "cool points" with - well, I don't know who - to actually read the thread. Anyway, Raw Underground lasted a lot longer than I thought it would. It was an interesting idea, but the execution was so sloppy. The rules were never clear to me, they didn't bother with the little things like graphics for each person's name (I realize they probably justified that laziness by thinking it felt more "underground" without those basics), etc. Poor Shane. I feel like he has great ideas, but he's hamstrung by family and office politics.

WWE Clash of Champions 2020 SHIRTLESS ROMAN TIME

I was blown away too. Best ladder match in years. So much fun and so smart and creative.
  22. Ironic coming from this particular username.
  23. Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't drink alcohol and I've never taken a drug in my life. However, I don't follow the company week-to-week. That would be unbearable torture. I watch the PPVs and otherwise tune in whenever I feel like it (which is rarely).

Is Impact the best promotion in wrestling history?

Serial sexual predator Joseph Meehan - better known as Joey Ryan, but we should use his real name exclusively from now on IMO so this follows him around - is suing Impact Wrestling. This isn't as low as what he did to those women, obviously, but it's still pretty shitty to potentially bankrupt a small indie organization with a frivolous false lawsuit.
