  1. I love that Rollins ran away like a total chickenshit too. He knows that Brock would still murder him, even with Brock bloodied and woozy. Reigns would probably cut through him too. Cash in, curb stomp, grab the belt and run like hell.
  2. Summed it up, spot on. The MITB cash ins normally nothing, this one was perfect. The match before that went way beyond what I had expected or hoped for. Reigns busted his ass and laid it into Brock. Brock was Brock. They get me to think Rollins was going to squander that cash-in too.
  3. Run Rollins, run!
  4. I thought this might be good, it's blown that away
  5. Roman isn't exactly choosing a feather touch against Brock, either.
  6. They are beating the hell out of each other and it's making for an awesome show.
  7. Both guys are already laying into each other, I don't know how much harder they could throw. But I do want to find out.
  8. Reigns is throwing stiff punches and elbows again, which he absolutely had to do to make this match look good.
  9. Brock is definitely over. Roman, not so much. That double turn might be needed to avoid the crowd shitting on this hard.
  10. They're trying to hard to act like this is a knockdown, drag out brawl and a real showdown for the ages. It's none of that.
  11. Taker's a mark for MMA. Look at the gloves
  12. On one side of the coin, a quick loss for Bray means another current act is totally dead. On the other, I don't care for Bray. It's lose-lose right now.
  13. Bray's hurt and Taker is older than dirt, so letting that segment cut into this might be for the best.
  14. They just announced a partnership with Tapout, so they actually might have blocked that out intentionally. But it looks like they're just black logos on the black shirt.
  15. Right. Rusev isn't just some heel cycling through the territory for a few months. He has the look and talent to be a big act for a long time. Obviously, he has to lose eventually, but eventually shouldn't be tonight.
  16. Really good match, liked it a lot even if I disagree with the booking. Both guys worked well, especially Rusev. Fast Lane was better, but this was still good. The finish was pretty weak only because we've the AA isn't so protected anymore in big matches but not spamming finishers is good in my book.
  17. Cena isn't Hogan and he definitely isn't Bruno. Wrestling booking has changed in the last few decades. Yes, there are common basics, but sometimes a heel needs to go over definitively in the feud. Cena is the ace, sure, but it's not the same way as it once was. Cena could have survived a loss here (he just won as I type this, and it's fine, but I don't think preferable). For one, the WWE seems interested in actively pushing someone new as the ace, apparently Reigns. For two, he's always been willing to put people over and the WWE knows they can put people over him because he is as made as made can be in this day and age. Listen to the dead silence of the crowd, by the way.
  18. Cena as pro-American hero in 2015 wrestling in San Francisco in front of an international crowd is not the same as Road Warriors as dominant bad asses wrestling in hometown Chicago in 1987. Cena isn't the same type of face to the crowd as Bruno and Hogan were.
  19. I should add that he's their hottest and best act, all things considered.
  20. Rusev won't go over, but he absolutely should. He is their hottest act. They desperately need heel acts on top and he actually gives them that. A loss here doesn't elevate the US title as much as a win over company ace Cena does. it gives us an actually interesting, strongly-built heel going into the post-Mania shows to care about, because otherwise we're getting Big Show and Kane as our top heel acts.
  21. Some of us were born just as it was winding down, now it's our turn to enjoy it.
  22. HHH vs. Booker T But Rusev has a lot more to gain from a win and lose from a loss than Cena.
  23. You've got to be the lone voice on that one. And they went all out on entrances this show. Rusev's was perfect.
  24. They popped for him at the Silverdome. They really ran him into the ground over the last year, especially around Mania season and after that. Foley and Flair are in the same boat. They might get pops at Mania (might), but they've come back too often and acted below their station too much for people to care.
  25. WWE crowds pop as hard for the Outlaws as they do for Hogan at this point, which is not at all.
