  1. Nope, I don't feel he was ever top 100 material at any point in his career. That doesn't mean I didn't have fun watching him, or that he wasn't talented. But, top 100, not even close.

    Cesaro

Not yet, he's in the same boat as Thatcher. In ten years he;ll probably be a lock, but right now there's just not enough great output for me to put him on the list.
  3. I'd love a list of Destroyer to check out, I've never seen a match of his, which makes me kind of sad I know.
  4. Definite yes for me, probably even top 50. She was, in every great way possible, the female version of Vader, except for even more agile. Perhaps the ultimate schoolyard bully, it's just a question of how much higher she moves on my list as I reacquaint myself with her this time.
  5. Based on what everyone has said around these parts, since I joined, Garvin is a guy who I really need to see more footage of. He never impressed me much all those years ago, but now I feel I really owe him another shot
  6. He won't make my list, great high points, but not long enough for me to truly consider him.
  7. Scorpio always sticks out in my mind as a guy who was extremely sloppy. Perhaps I'm off base and a reevaluation of footage would show how off base I am. But, watching his WCW and WWF work it's hard to see a top 100 worker when so much of his output is middling bordering on sloppy bad.
  8. Based on his WCW work Finlay won't make my list. I need to see his WWE/indie runs that have gotten a lot of pub, because I love Finaly's aggressively stiff style.
  9. Not a top 100 guy, the very definition of a good hand. He has some great matches, and he was always good, but so much of his career was spent being a good hand, and that's hard to overcome.
  10. He will be on my list, but he's the opposite of Flair in the sense that his late career stuff helps him. I don't think he's been great since 1990 or so, but he has been very good and always entertaining. As he got older he changed his style, wrestled to his limitations, and because of that he still looked like he belonged in a wrestling ring and consistently held his own. His earlier stuff being excellent in a lot of different styles certainly doesn't hurt his case.
  11. Having not seen his Mid-South work I don't see the case for DiBiase. His WWF run is very, very disappointing. It's clear as day that he's super talented, but he almost never rises above the talent around him.

    The Rock

Rock is an interesting case, but I think he'll finish just outside my list. I like that he's a student of the game, but I wish he would leave the game behind because his sporadic appearances the past few years have only hurt his standing as he's just not very good anymore. Rock wrestled one style, the WWF/E main event style, and he did it very well, but when stacked against a guy like Cena I don't think he measures up.
  13. It's a given that Flair will make my list, but I tend to side more with Matt when it comes to his late career output. To be frank, Flair isn't very good post-2000 or so, and that does negatively effect his standing. We are looking at the entire careers of wrestlers after all, and because of that I'm not willing to give Flair a pass for substandard output just because he was older.
  14. He'll make my list, but I need to think about his later career output to figure out where on my list. I can't fully get behind Matt's position, because while I recognize that Andre was doing what he needed to do in his late matches, that doesn't make it interesting or good wrestling. Still, there is the early footage that we do have where most of the time he comes out looking like gangbusters, and that footage is more than enough for him to place on my list.

    Hayabusa

I remember loving Hayabusa back in the 90s, but it's been so long since I've seen footage of him. I recently saw his famous 90s ECW PPV tag match, and I wasn't super impressed, I wonder if he's a case of my nostalgia getting the better of me, but who knows if I'll get to any FMW footage before the year and a half is up.
  16. Shinzaki is a guy where the lazy tag fits. He has oodles of talent and he has his fair share of impressive performances. He also has his fair share of laconic performances, and that's really hard to get past.
  17. I've been enamored with him in the 50s footage I have seen. He's so smooth in the ring it's almost criminal, but I need to see a lot more before I give him serious consideration.
  18. Dylan makes an interesting case, and in a lot of ways Tajiri is the poster child for Matt's way of analyzing wrestling. I don't think he was ever in that many great matches, at least not during his ECW/WWE tenure, but he was always great. The facial mannerisms, the rugged crispness of his moves, the way he used psychology to connect with the fans, all of those are elements of pro wrestling that Tajiri excelled in regardless of the overall quality of the match.
  19. Hogan is a guy I've come around on. I used to think he was one of the worst workers ever, probably a residual effect from growing up being influenced by Scott Keith. Now, he's still not going to make my list but there were times when he was a really good in-ring worker. I just watched his SNME match with Bob Orton Jr., and watching him carry Orton to what should have been a great match really was something. Hogan is far better than his reputation, but he's not top 100 material.
  20. Possible top 10, maybe even top 5. I used to be one of those folks who didn't get the Lawler love, but the more I see the more I love the way Lawler works. He's super engaging, as a heel or a babyface, and he's more than capable of carrying lesser wrestlers to great heights. I'd say he's athletic to boot, which when combined with his in-ring smarts makes for one of the best wrestlers of all time.
  21. Nope, Dusty is a guy I never got. Maybe there's some footage out there that could change my mind but he's a wrestler that never clicked with me. Even his promo work never truly engaged me, so no Dusty on my list, for anything.
  22. Top 25 for me, as I've pretty much loved Eddie at every stop of his career. Interestingly enough I haven't seen much of his 2004 work, and from what I hear that could move him even higher on my list.
  23. Definite no for me. I enjoy Bam Bam, but the greatness just isn't there for him. He spent too much of his career coasting by, and there are plenty of better big man workers who deserve consideration before him.
  24. His 80s set work impressed the heck out of me, I'll definitely have to seek out more of his 90s work to see if the high quality of his 80s work carried over.
  25. Love everything about Togo, but he's someone I need to see more of to place high. He'll make my list regardless, but right now he's a bottom of the list guy.
