  1. Hey guys, I'm Tanner, and some of you know me, but most of you don't. I recently started a blog called "Tanner's Wrassle Time" (I usually abbreviate TWT) which you can checkout at http://tannerwrassletalk.blogspot.com/. The goal of the block is to not only review matches, but also introduce people to new wrestlers, promotions, styles, etc. I plan on doing a lot including PPV predictions/previews, In-depth profiles on wrestlers, several projects, and will include match reviews for matches I watch for the first time or the hundredth time. I hope you guys check it out and thanks for reading!
  2. - Well, I launched my first solo blog two weeks ago, and so far it has received a lot of positive feedback, so I'd like that to continue. - Watch as much 2015 stuff as I can, I want to be on top of it this year. - Would love to be on some type of podcast, rather it be invited onto one or I decide to host one myself. - Write more "essay" type stuff, people loved the one I did on Suzuki a few days ago. - Get some collaborations going. - Actually become a trusted source around here (Not saying that I'm not per say, just no one really knows me outside of Twitter) That looks to be about it, I'm excited to see where I am a year from now or something, but until then we can only wait and see.
  3. If I chose to watch wrestling instead of seeking out other hobbies, why does that make me a loser? I think it is fair to say that most of us here have some sort of down time at some point during the day. If not, you are busier than me but here is my point of comparison. I am working right now between 45-60 hours a week, add a two hour commute each day and that is my time devoted to work. I also am married and have a newborn. Between all of that I feel I have a decent social life where I can get together with my friends if I so desire. I also am able to watch tv shows and board games with my wife. My wrestling watching breaks down into watching before 6:00 AM (when my wife leaves for work) and 6:30 AM (when I leave). In addition if she really wants to watch a tv show and I don't care and the baby is asleep, I will watch then. Have things been given up? Sure, I havent watched any NBA this year so far, but if I enjoy watching wrestling more than any other hobby, why does that automatically make me a loser? In regards to this idea, I will be tracking the stuff I watch mainly through the match discussions already created but plan on having a master file of everything watched in 2015. This will be what I end up doing, I just wanted some participants just so I could see who was watched the most, decade viewed the most, pretty much do a project of sorts.
  4. I'm sorry I've been late on the reply, a competition was the wrong word to use. I simply meant it as a way for all of us to keep up with everything, not just stuff from 2015. Also I disagree with the "winner being a loser" sentiment, if you enjoy doing it why does it matter? If you enjoy video games, does it make you a loser if you complete 40 in a year? As long as you enjoy doing something it doesn't matter. Plus, this is a wrestling forum, so who would care if someone watched 2000 matches in a year?
  5. Hey guys, I've been reading here for a while and try to participate where I can, but I had a cool idea. I floated the idea somewhere else but it just got buried, and then I realized it would be smarter to do it here instead. Essentially I want to see who watches the most wrestling, most diverse viewing, what decades are viewed the most, etc. So here are a couple of guidelines. - Matches can only count once, no duplicates allowed (Same match up but different date is of course acceptable) - Doesn't have to be just 2015 Wrestling. - Challenge goes from 12:01 AM EST on 01/01/15 to 11:59 PM EST 12/31/15. - Please don't lie, no prizes are involved so what is the point of lying about what you watch? Also, I figured we could also do reviews and such on some stuff we find review worthy, to make it more interesting during some of the downtime. That just about covers it, and with the Top 100 going on I figured a ton of people were already making some lists, so why not make it a friendly competition? I hope you guys decide to join, as I think it could be a ton of fun.

    Organized?!?

I currently have a huge list in chronological order broken up into sub categories by years and everything ***+ is on it. The list is fairly short considering I just started it this past January.

    Chris Masters

I have to agree with Dylan here, a guy that I love and would definitely make the list but has ALMOST been non-existent since his release, which is a shame considering what he was doing in WWE when he came back.

    Christian

Christian holds a special place with me, because you are almost always guaranteed a good match when he is out there. Just in the past three years he has had good-great matches with Henry, Sheamus and Bryan and also with lesser guys like OG Sin Cara and Fandango. He won't finish high on my list, but I will definitely find a place for him somewhere.
